I am from India and have been looking out for career options and I came across Content Design. I googled about it, read articles, and came across your videos. Since I am starting out from scratch. Can you suggest me a path as to how I can go ahead with it and what can I start with so as to be able to land a job in the near future?

Thank you so much for this video, Yvonne! I think, unfortunately, so, so many UXers can relate... and kudos for taking a step back and getting help! I was in a similar situation a couple of years ago, and I remember telling my then-boyfriend one evening, "I can't go to work tomorrow, I just have nothing left to give." On some workdays, I felt like an empty house that's going to host a huge 8-hours house party for important guests, with no energy, no food, no music, no plan. I know it sounds cheesy as cheese but doing human-centered work probably starts with us being kinder to and more protective of ourselves. Our conversations motivated me to keep learning Content Design as well as not giving up. Rough job market, but like you said, the pipeline should be fixed soon hopefully. That said, perhaps channeling your creativity into just creating content would be neat. Like vlogs and such, doesn't have to be job related. For instance, I'd love to hear about how you and your partner found each other!

As a aspiring UX writer ,it was great to know other people journey in Ux writing . You asked some great questions on intership, interview preparation and mentor. The whole interview was so wholesome. I made notes . 1.Using LinkedIn for finding opportunities. 2.Resume to highlight relevant experience in writing. 3.Watch RUclips videos and research interviewers. 4.Prepare for behavioral questions and specific writing assignments. 5. Learning from your collegues and importance of mentor in guidance. 6.Choosing internship best suited for you .
