Question on what gun for what?
Просмотров 2,2 тыс.11 лет назад
3 guns 3 different tips. Got me confused cause I would think the Sata should be used for color coats. the Husky would be for prime. but I find out the husky has the bigger tip. Finish line - 1.3 tip Husky - 1.4 tip Sata - 1.5 tip. bonus question is how many filters go into one cartrige on a M3 paint mask?
My plasti dip eats the clear... read on..

Basicly learn from my mistakes. First I am not really sure what caused the discoloration in the clear. All I know is that personally I did not want an extra step in buffing or re-clear-coating when I removed the DIP. Possible causes for this on my fairings were. 1. Paint not cured. Although it was painted at least 2 months or more before I attempted this. 2. The type of thinner I used. (yet its...

Lived on Clinton Ave in the yellow duplex back in the 90's. Good times.
Awesome vid. I used a flat head screwdriver to pry the u clip out and it zing’d out into the back and disappeared. Couldda blinded me. I’ll get the puller. Tx.
Hey, you made my day today. It,s the only Video I could found to solv my Problem getting in That Clip. I appreciate - thanks a lot 🤩
Our friend....without any doubt this is the very best how to video I have seen, no b/s'ing for 30 minutes or trying to be a movie star, yuou went right for the problem and solved it for all of us, Mahalo, you are the best!!!
I had the same problem after servicing the clutch on a pre owned 08 zx10r, saw this video and read the comments- collected the data and decided to go back into the clutch and redo it all from the 27mm clutch nut forward. I made a few adjustments while inside, the plates were out of order and the steel ones were in backwards, the sharp side faces towards you, previous owner used red lock tight on the spring bolts which only get 11 nm of torque, their 11mm anchor bolts get blue lock tight. Oh and this time I soaked the plates in oil for an hour and all the while was consulting the service pdf manual I bought on ebay for $3 and watched a clutch basket install on youtube showing me how to properly position the final ring. That fixed the problem dead in it’s tracks. Stay dirty my friends!
Thank you
Link to video you watched please
Hey Show, thanks a million man!!!! I had the plate puller, but that damn rod kept pulling up and out so I couldn't adjust the puller. Was driving me hella crazy. This video solved my problem!!!!
I couldn't figure out why the whole tod and steering wheel came out. Now to find the little piece that goes on the end.
Put in entire new clutch assembly (inner outer baskets, push rod, lever arm, new cable, etc. Still my clutch has no effect what's so ever
Sorry, Just saw part 2. You answered my question. Thanks Again.
Hey Man, Thanks for the video. Question however, why do you have to use a different screw with the same thread pattern as the star screw. Why couldn't you just use the star screw itself to hold it from going up and down? Thanks -Dave
Had to fit the other tool Over it.
What size is that screw?
What is the kit called ??
A classic scene! A classic comedy 🎥!
This sucks watching one movie and goes to commercial comes back with something else besides the movie you were watching, how do you just watch what you want ?
I need to change the spring that connected at the top of the rod, will it just pull up if I remove the clutch cable?
I got the same problem
Same problem... Wtf
Perfect timing was in the middle of tightening the inside bolts and replacing the upper bearing on my C3 -1975 couldn’t figure out how to compress to put that clip in,seen your video jobs done thanks a lot
Fucking idiot
Don’t put your tools on the car 😱
Didn't matter needed a repaint.
How do you put the hub bacck
I learned more in the last few minutes of that video then the last couple days reading the manual. Thank you . And BTW..... a video that might make you dizzy is 1000 times better than no video.
great shot of the tools on the floor and the shift knob .
I accidentally put the clip in the other way, so its trapped in by the 2 two bigger pieces of that backplate instead of the direction you put it in. Any ideas?
Sorry no idea. Hope you got it. Maybe just have to muscle it.
get a tripods for the camera. Needed to take Dramamine half way through the video.
See how many videos I post. Does it look like I'm trying? Lol. I'll take a donation tho.
I am a vette owner to. This was a good video on the steering wheel repair just next time visit the john first and you will have less wiggling and dancing lol just kidding . Look forward to your next one with a tripod or have some one hold the camera. . This looks like a nice vette.
Great tip. I was having trouble getting the lock ring clip back on. Thanks.
What size is the bolt
How did you get that telescopic shaft ou
munroe40 if I remember right it just pulls out.
I got thank you for this video. I'm work on my 69 cadi with telescopic steering and was stumped on how to get the spring plate off. It took a little trial and error but I got the sucker. Thanks Again, Mac
I have a 75 caddy. And how do you get the telescopic piece out. I and trying to get plate out also
Look at the video. I took a bolt ground the head down but it n the hole in the telescoping shaft screw it down it will lock it in place
Pierce McCleary what i am talking about the actual telescopic piece how do you take that peice out of the center of the wheel?
why do you want to take the piece out ?
@@munroe40 Hey I've got the same problem mate. Once you get the locking clip out, how do you get the rest of the column (the circle plate with the cut outs around the outside) out? Hopefully you worked it out and can save me a headache cheers bud.
220 works well.
My problem on is I replaced the clutch cover and now every time I put it in gear, the bike cuts off. Any ideas on how to fix this?
Jay Jones lift the kickstand. Or check the kickstand switch.
Can you put a sniwplow on that thing.....you should....you damage the car already....
They have a 3/4 ton now for cheaper... Home Depot has one too! www.homedepot.com/p/Big-Red-3-4-Ton-Engine-Load-Leveler-TR2750/100594356 www.harborfreight.com/3-4-quarter-ton-capacity-heavy-duty-load-leveler-67441.html
Just had to do this, and I couldn't get the tool to work, it just pulled out the telescopic shaft. So i pushed with one hand on the u-iron, and putting the c clip on with the other hand. A real hassle, will remember your tip for the next time.
So the problem in my situation was that the push rod that is located in the middle of the clutch basket was bent. Hope this helps.
showmethedammovie it's the clutch release rod happen to me today
nicholas kinder it's an easy fix. I did it myself. I'm not a mechanic.
showmethedammovie wat if it's not bent
Angel Santos sorry I'm not sure. I'm not a mechanic. I just can post on my situation. Perhaps it's chipped or bent. Or your cable needs adjustment?
is the rod supposed to come out if the cable is not connected
Mozis Hall I can't remember already. I think it could that's how you install or remove it.
thanks, so if no cable is connected it should slide out but if i reconnect the new cable and the spring at top of the shaft should spring back
Mozis Hall if evething is right it will work as before. That rod with the cable and spring simply moves the push rod in the clutch basket. Some how the push rod in my clutch was bent so it came out easy. And the clutch wouldn't work.
Ah i see my cable snapped and the spring was missing from the rod and just slid out so i though it was ruind but ill see what happens mate thanks again
Sorry mate, what i acctually mean is see when u pulled the rod out if i had my spring connected up and put the rod back in and connected the cable should it work as normal? Of course if theres no other issues inside the clutch box
did anyone figure out this problem
Thank you for this video. I just took mine apart and have been searching everywhere trying to figure out how to get that damn clip back on. Didn't realize it would be that easy
and then they fuck oh harder hardet
Why would you do that?
Nail varnish remover
Hey Man ! I have that same problem after a idiot backed up on my bike and she went down... what was the solution?? Did you change the clutch kit? or it was the push rod broken? Thanks Man Very Much Appreciated !
I just pulled that rod out by accident and now it goes back down in the hole all the way but it won't rotate to operate the clutch...WTF ?
when i removed the clutch cover the rod that connects to the arm was bent. it didn't work. I had to replace both. since one was bent. and the other was chipped. do your self a favor and get a gasket at the same time makes it look cleaner than liquid gasket thing i used.
+vetteboy1982 Late as fuck reply, but i am having the SAME fucking problem.. spent a day and a half on it. When i turn the rod to the right it feels like it's hitting something. I'm about to kill someone.
i know it might be late, but is your delta still for sale, if so email me at tubs20004@aol.com, and leave me your cell number
Dude, I'm sure 80 grit brutalized those fairings. 180 grit is perfect for sanding motorcycle plastics.
braddah on the video sound like he from hawaii.
This comment is in response to your plastidip video... Your clear messed up because of 1 of 2 problems, you either didn't let the clear cure or your clear is cheap. I've been painting and using plastidip for years and never had an issue with it screwing up like that. Just thought I'd give my two cents because it comes across as you're blaming plastidip for the problem and that isn't the case
Yeah I gotta sell some of my toys. I'm getting a lot of interest. People just need to come up with the money.
I was just up there on the scho and seen this was for sale
I bought it built. Maybe they just wanted to give it a little bit more lift. the bags give it a better turning radius. And it when it sits low it doesn't look that much different than your car. As far as the 6's maybe look smaller because of the angle and the car is lifted so you can't really get a perspective .
Lifted up it turns better. No rubbing off the frame. Has a 3inch lift and airbags so it can go down if I want.
