Ko3 turbos are so small and yet they had to stuff them somehwere on all the models that had them😂. Even my b5.5 passat i just did not too long ago had me questioning why the F they didnt just do a top mount turbo. The 1.8 leaves so much room for it but they still stuffed it lol😂

Mother's mag and wheel cleaner, wipe it on then buff it out, works on old yellow lights , ends up like new.

I have found the best way to restore your headlights buy new ones

Finish off with a Meguiars Keep Clear Headlight spray (2 times @ 10 minutes apart). Spray again each year as a UV filter and you will not be doing the full headlight clearing every 2 years.

water hand-pump + SOSpad(has soap on it) + remove soapy water +(wet sand 1500 grit if you feel not smooth after SOSpad + rinse + dry + blue tape off + Rustolium 2x gloss clear (UV protecting , non-yellow , usable on plastics) = Fanstic Result!

I've seen videos that use various sandpapers, then compound and Polishing. Looks like it works and is a lot of work.

The method I use that works great and probably Everyone already has the materials in their house is...... a used dryer sheet and toothpaste. This does require a lot of elbow grease. You do rub hard. Both the toothpaste and the dryer sheet have a very slight abrasiveness and therefore polish the plastic lens. Another great use for dryer sheets is combined with isopropyl alcohol to remove stubborn bug guts or dried on dog slobber from the paint. ( I had an English Mastiff so slobber was definitely an issue).

I spent big money on a gun for orange peel and i think it has more to do with paint i got some kbs diamond coat for durability i painted a bicycle it came out gun looking like sandpaper cause i didnt get thinner but it leveld good no orange peel

I did a great job with the Harbor Frieght kit and Rustoleum clear coat.. I messed one side up with too much clear coat. Sanding it off is a lot of extra work.
