This is right up my alley. Thanks for uploading for everyone to enjoy. If you ever decide to send this one down the road please let me know. Cheers
Your welcome! They were a tight band. Good solo gutiar work and some unique sounds. The flute solo was out of nowhere. Thanks for watching and listening.
I'm interested in listening to Natural Magic, hope you upload it. Excellent haul. Happy hunting!
@@ezrasunrise I just uploaded Natural Magic last night.
@@JoeWilliamsonjr I'm listening to it right now!
that miles davis album is awesome,i have a copy!!
Nice to see you found some Terry Riley. It's quite experimental, but maybe it'll grow on you.
you came across a Bilie Eillish record at goodwill, very cool, joe!
Hi Infidelity is a good album, I was in high school then. The girls sure liked it too.
Hey new subscriber, Stones & Dylan guy, good enough for me....and hey the waxed is pretty good too! Try and watch and participate in one of his auctions sometime, they are such fun....cheersfrom Scotland
@@johnpyle1022 Hey thanks for watching, commenting, and subscribing to my channel! I have participated in a couple of Rob's auctions but it was earlier in 2024 its been a while.
I haven’t played electric mud in quite awhile. You’ve inspired me to listen to it with a fresh mind. I’d always deadpanned it. I’ll give it a go again. My favorite of his is covering Big Bill Broonzy.
@@earheadsix4119 Thanks for checking out my video. Electric Mud is unique and might not be for everyone but it's one of my Favorite albums. Plus putting Muddy with a psych sound was a bold move and in my opinion it brought in a new crowd to his music. I gave you a sub and will check out your content.
Hey there Joe. Great stuff. Really digging your longer format videos like this. You're a great presenter and I really learned a lot here. Thanks for putting this together. I actually have that Fathers & Sons - one of just a few in my very meager blues collection. It was great to learn a lot more about it here... because I'm too lazy to do my own research. HA. Pretty sure my copy is an OG like yours and was very lucky to find it in the back room of an old bar that had close down in a tiny town out this way. A prized possession for sure. Thanks again Joe. Keep em coming'
Chuck thanks for the kind words. I enjoy doing some research into these albums. It really helps me learn names of the band members so when Im out digging I can spot other albums.
Hey Joe..I love Muddy…My favourite would be Folk Singer..not sure Muddy ever made a bad record..I also love Fathers and Sons but since it is a collaboration not sure I can call it a Muddy album..
Hey joe, I love that you love muddy waters!
Adam thanks for the comment! enjoying digging into the albums and learning more about Muddy and the fellow band members.
Music o jays my girl
Hey Joe! Just discovered your channel and gave you a sub. DSOTM is my all-time fav album. Very unique that the first LP you bought was by an artist you didn't like. Actually, me and Glen went to Tulsa in Oct 2023 to the visit the Dylan Museum. Cheers!
Sounds Delicious 💯🤣
Mel has a great sound. Have you ever listened to him?
"I am the blues"tell a story all blacks can relate to and have experienced "Champagne and reefer" "She's 19 years old" for me it's everything he's ever recorded he's the KING of the blues I almost forgot"Walking through the park"❤️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
@@MaxcineRobinson-c4z I am the blues is Killer! Love the sound. Thanks for the reply.

💈sounds fantastic, can you play the full album please.
I'm going to try to upload it...youtube puts copyright claims on videos. So it's a tuff one.
All about Savoy Brown it's been in my collection it's a great record you'll enjoy it take my word for it.
They are good! I don't sell their early albums very often. What is your favorite album of theirs?
Excellent live❤
It is! What is your favorite song of Jimi's?
I finally found a betamax machine the other day but it didn't even turn on and I went ahead and took it back.
I still would like to find one. I'd try to get it running.
Nice, Joe! Enjoyed this episode as always. Solid picks. Love Mule. Saw Warren open for the Dead at Alpine Valley in the earlier 2000s. So many people were in the venue early that Warren came out ahead of schedule and played an extra solo acoustic set with a heartfelt speech and a thank you to everyone for being so early. Then he played the regular opener. AND then he played with the Dead. That man is always workin double duty and then some. Outstanding tag, Joe. Love it.
Great job with this Tag. That's a great Santana album. That Pink Floyd SACD looks amazing. Allman Brothers Filmore is a killer live album. That's a great Black Keys album! SRV! I had fun with this tag as well. Cheers
Hey Joe..thank you for doing this..I just subbed your channel…Abraxas is a classic..SACDs are great..I sold my OPPO SACD player last year so Injustice kept my hybrid discs..love the Allman Brothers..Dylan is my favourite artist..so happy you finally figured it out..wow..Govt Mule..we have very similar tastes…Eat A Peach is my favourite Allman album..that is one I have on SACD..I loved your video..look forward to following your content..thanks Glen
I just got the remastered copy of Eat A Peach yesterday and listened to it today. I've been wanting to get that on vinyl for a while but the price has usually been around $39. That's a little more than I wanted to pay so I kept a lookout and was able to get it for $20.57 and that included the tax and shipping. And it was a brand new copy too. I found an original copy recently at my dad's house. He'd stuck it away in a closet at his last home before we had to sell it over the summer. It was the Capricorn label pressing and when I checked it it turned out being either a first or second pressing. I was happy about that. But I didn't find that out until I pulled out the record and noticed it had literally melted from being in his house in the Texas heat I guess after he wasn't living there anymore. Ironically he had two Allman Brothers Band album sets and both of those were the only records that had melted and warped. What a bummer. I don't have any SACDs but I may have to eventually get one and see if it will play in my Blu-ray player. I did not realize they played in those or at least a lot of those players until seeing your video. So thanks for that info! Brian in Fort Worth
@@Bootradr thanks for checking out my tag! I should have been more specific, but not all bluray players do. But quite a few Sony Blu-ray players have the capability. Just got to see if it does. It's an inexpensive way to get into SACD'S
I had the Floyd on XDR as well, good call. The new Dylan film is good in the theater.
Hey thanks for checking out my tag! I scoop up any XDR tape I find. Cassettes are a fun format to listen to.

I wonder if the story about Jimmy’s mobster manager killing him for his royalties is true? Jimmy wanted to move on and they didn’t wanna let him because they knew they’d make more money off of him dead than him leaving them.
Sorry folks. There have been much better blues players than Jimi in the modern era. It was good though way back in those ancient days!
I hear you. But Jimi died young and we did not get to see his full potential.
I do agree! It kills me to think what else he would've done had he not been so addicted. He was heading more into a Jazz Rock Prog type direction with so many greats wanting to collaborate with him from several fields. Imagine Jimi with all the new state of the art Guitar tech and gadgets out there now! Shame.
July 4 weekend at Atlanta pop 1970 was the last time I seen JIMI , he came out on stage about 1:15 Sunday morning, it had been 104 during the day , nighttime summer breeze was blowing it felt so good , he really out done himself , John Lennon and Paul McCartney flew in to see him , there was a tent off from the stage on the left side where all the performers that were playing next would come and set waiting their turn to play , John and George were sitting just inside the tent. We could see them for a while. Everyone was thinking they were gonna maybe play, but as soon as Hendrix wrapped up, he gathered his guitar and followed them to their helicopter and off into the night they went ! They had never seen him before had just heard great things about his ability to play that white guitar and they just had to see him play ! All the original Allman Brothers band played several times that weekend , everyone was in their backyard and they really played better than I have ever heard them play and I’ve seen them many times live , the next festival was called love Valley in North Carolina and that’s the last time I ever seen all of the original Allman Brothers playing together !from love Valley I hitched hiked to Texas . Was having the time of my life in those days ! Was 16 yrs old in 1970 and 72 now, can’t hardly believe I made it out alive , and still doing the things I was doing back then , I know I shouldn’t but can’t stop, I’m not strong enough to stop I’ve tried , if I do I’ll probably die ! But I still love my music . Tonight it’s Gary Moore he’s really better than Jimi , there was a time when I didn’t think that way , but the more you hear, Gary and realize just how personal those guitar notes are to him , you come to realize he’s really almost the best guitar player in the world ever !
Classic Hendrix 🎸🎶
Your right! I hate he died so young.
I am glad and jealous that you got to see Jimi live in concert. Hat that he died so young
Born Under a Bad Sign?
Born under a bad sign is one of my favorite songs.

Outstanding tag response there, Joe. Great to see the cassette tag going around and really like your selections. You've got some good ones! You have a great radio voice too. Love your style and look forward to taking up some of your blues recommendations lately.
Chuck! I don't know about the radio voice..but I will take it. Yeah Im hooked on the blues and blues Rock.. I also enjoy some newer Blues/Blues Rock bands like Blackberry Smoke ..Have you heard of them?
Indeed I have heard OF them. But that's about it. Not familiar or anything like that.
