Egg keema masala
Serves 5 People
Cooking Time: 40 mins
Ingredients & Process
Egg- 5 nos
Onion (finely chopped) - 3 no
Tomato (finely chopped) - 3 no
Green chili (chopped) - 8-10
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Cumin-1 tbsp
Red Chilli Powder - 1 tbsp
Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
Garam Masala - 1 tsp
Turmeric - 1 tsp
Salt - To taste ( 1 tsp)
Water - ½ Cup
Coriander Leaves -handful
- Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add the eggs and cook for 10-12 minutes. Drain the hot water and rinse the eggs with cold water to stop the cooking process. Once cool, peel and grate the eggs.

For the Filling: 1/2 cup long-grain rice (rinsed) 1/2 cup ground lamb or chicken 1/2 cup chopped onion 1/4 cup chopped fresh coriander leaves 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander 1/4 teaspoon black pepper Salt to taste 1 cup tomato puree 2 tablespoons vegetable oil Peppers 1/2 cup water 1 tablespoon olive oil 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin Salt to taste Steps to Prepare Afghani Dolma: Prepare the Filling: Rinse the rice and cook according to package instructions until partially cooked. Sauté the onion in oil until softened. In a large bowl, combine cooked rice, ground meat, sauteed onion, chopped coriander, tomato puree, spices, and salt. Mix well. Prepare the Peppers: Wash and core the bell peppers, removing the seeds and membranes. Stuff the Peppers: Carefully stuff the pepper cavities with the filling, leaving a little space at the top. Cooking: You can bake or simmer the dolmas. Baking: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Serve: Enjoy the Afghani Dolma hot, with a dollop of yogurt or drizzled with the optional tomato sauce if used.
