How did you do it
Basically just replace the solinoid and the spoof controller to a 72v setup.
My farm equipment could do that but they got rid of slavery a long time ago so now I have to do it lol.

There’s a lot of variables and options the basic would just be look at hp, torque, and RPM range. On a tractor you’ll almost always be leaving the transmission so you’ll want your rpm range to be similar to the engine coming out. So it’s likely going to be a Permanent magnet motor or a brushed DC motor. But there are SOOO many motor options and variables to them. These old Warp 9 DC motors need to all end up in old diesel tractors in my option. But I guess we’ll see with mine.
What do you mean when you say you don't need to connect the neutral to the ground but just receive the static build up with the ground???? HOW do you do that?? Please answer. Thanks!!!
I need to edit this video to make it more clear. Basically don’t ground with the ground function on the inverter if you bind the neutral to the ground.

My house will be both grid connected and off grid at the same time. So i will need to use the ground neutral bond in the box at the house as the grid connect inverters will still be feeding the grid for solar feed in credits the house circuits will be fed by the off grid system. I'm using a 12kw LF of grid inverter

This is great information! Im converting a older bad boy buggy motors onto a newer frame. The different axles have the motors both mounted opposite. I need to wrap my head around how to swap the wiring around when there is fwd/rev switch and a 2wd/4wd switch. I have a diagram of the wiring as it was originally but unsure which wires need swapping.
It’s a very complicated matter one that took me years to get until I heard someone say you reverse the polarity of a field and all of a sudden it clicked.

There shouldn't be any voltage traveling on the ground. I have 1 array that bleeds about 60 to 70 volts only when its gotten wet. I haven't been able to figure out where it comes from. It's 10 panels and I've tried isolating each panel one at a time with no luck. If I remove the ground that connects all 10 panels there is no voltage from each panel to ground. But connect them together and I get voltage

Ok, found this video after commenting on newer video trying to figure out the connection of PowMR for 240v. This still explains very well, but still having error codes. Ugh. Like these inverters, but definitely frustrating.
What error codes?
We have the powmr as well. We are trying to connect up the parallel split to run 240v for using our well pump off it. Can you help. We cant seem to get it to program without going into standby mode

Do you have any Idea how to connect those 3 dry contact pins on the POWMR inverter dedicated to starting the generator to a 5 pin ATS port on the generator? Can't find any info about it online..
I do not it’s never been worth it for me in my area
@@RetroElectric Thank you for the answer.. I am not connected to the grid, and kind of prefer it to have the generator start by itself if the battery is low then having to get up at night to start it manually. But if i had grid connection, i would think the same as you.
Do the solar panel frames and the ground clamps on the array rails go back to the inverter ground bar or to a ground rod seperate from the system

So,removing the inverter would let me use this with my all in one system that already has an inverter? Someone is selling the lg400 for only $220 but cant figure out what to do
Panels are almost too cheap to even mess with doing something like this anymore. You can buy brand new panels almost from Alibaba but 550 W for barely more than 100 bucks each.
If you remove the Inverter that is mounted right to the terminals, you have to put a dial box on
And make sure you have a earth to netrual relay in off grid island mode...but check your inverter 1st! Victron in off grid island mode you select the earth/netrual relay if you dont then you wont get a safe system ad your rcd or gfi wint trip when you get a earth leakage fault

How did you end up wiring these? I have a Yamaha g1 and I’m struggling with wiring the forward and reverse.
It’s complicated and I don’t remember off the top of my head. I have a different video on making a series connected motor go and reverse that can be really helpful for understanding that reverse on those motors and then wrapping your mind around how these contactors fulfill that duty is equally tricky.

Hi, I'm also using SimpBms on 6 BMW i3 battery modules (as you show in one of your shots, not in this video). Got voltage and temperature reading working, but never balancing? Did you ever get success with that? I wonder if I'm running the wrong version firmware (12 cell modules) or I just can't figure out the SimpBms settings to make balancing work?
I think the balancing will only work once the sales get above 4 V or higher closer to the 4.2 V
I haven’t got the batteries in yet and fully got the battery charged to observe any balancing

I can not figure out how to get my powmr to charge my batteries from my generator. Is there any way I could pick your brain on it?

@@RetroElectricgood morning. I have the same issue. My screen shows 120v from the generator but I have no line coming from it. I changed it to UTI and it still doesn’t.
In awkward situations you are not really grounding anything you’re more like bonding it to keep it at the same potential as the ground rather than providing a fault path the reason why is because a live conductor could touch one metallic object and suddenly anything at Mansville pitch is ground potential than anything ground or neutral could give you a shock that’s why prevent that happening

Anyway you can help me out. Mine is set to SBU with SNU charging it works perfect during the day but when it gets towards the night it doesn't want to switch to grid it keeps making a clicking sound but doesn't switch. Sometimes you can see on the screen where it switches to grid but immediately switches back to battery even though it's super low.

@@RetroElectric I ended up having to purchase a new unit. There was definitely a problem within the inverter. It showed voltage from the grid and showed voltage at the battery and the panels were showing 0 voltage because it's night time but when the battery voltage would go below parameter 4 it would not want to switch to grid at all.

I made a 72v golf cart battery with them.
In a normal grid system you tie you earth to neutral not neutral to earth, theres a difference. And you ground your AC side not dc side. DC is not Live and neutral, its positive and negative
