I’m not bashing people’s opinions, I do like the 90s dub and CWI dub for Sailor Moon but my question is that why does people hate the Viz dub? I’m just curious

Ocean dub = great voice acting, dumb music, heavily censored All other dubs = a shitload of "uggghhhh uuu hwaaaaaaa" blandness, mostly sticks to the original script I'll take ocean anyday.

Duh duh duh. Are you slow? Japans government was in shambles. Self defense force was non existent. Why would America who just killed hundreds of thousands of innocent Japanese civilians in 2 strikes care about defending it? I remember watching this show when I was a kid!

When we were kids, all our friends used to pretend like we were sailor scouts at recess. I was Sailor Mars, I would cast fire spells and read the future by looking at flames. All of us turned out to be straight guys, except Sly. Sly was Sailor Moon. He is and will always be gay. And its okay XD aaaw the power of pink XD he would be the healer and we cherished the guy. No toxic masculinity. We were kids.

I don't care what anyone outside the US says, I'll always prefer this opening over Butterfly. This OP would hype me up SO much on Saturday mornings.

Literally english version change almost completly the intro, the original intro (in jaoanese, latin spanish or any other languaje is gold, why did they do this whit tahta amazing oppening?

I grew up with this but the Japanese Moonlight Densetsu is way better

English intro has the worst opening song. Watch german or japan, is a different dimension.

My sister and i used to sing along to this everyday. This show was a core of our group of friends. I really miss this even though it didnt follow the manga properly. 90s animation for anime was great. (As much as i loooove demon slayers animation i still miss the old school ways)
