Expensive property, but the worst kitchen design. Great Gaggenau appliances, but designed like for rental property. Cheap cabinetry, literally zero drawers and cheap quartz countertops. Waterfall solid surface island sides? Is this 2005 again? Maximum spent $15K on cabinetry and $40K on appliances. So sad. Appliances for a chef, but cabinetry for the student.

Yes! It is luxury apartments. But how many people can afford it? Take a look the price!! So many luxury apartments buildings were built in Boston lately, many of them are “available”, why? those apartments are not built for solving the issues of lacking rental houses for young professionals, with such high price, many young professionals can’t afford at all. Boston is way too much at some points!

Is it just me or do most of the interiors look the same? White on white on white! Gorgeous and I guess easier to sell a generic product.

Of your videos this is one of my favorites. As you went through you picked Winthrop in almost all areas except pricing. At the end you then said you preferred millenium. That threw me but then I'm a whole lot older than you. I'm holding out for the Seaport though. Great tours and info! Thanks.

I think that all of Charlie's videos (including this one) are good for viewing more than once, usually with sound for the sake of information, and sometimes without sound just for the sake of quiet thoughtful aesthetic observations. When I viewed Charlie's previous Beacon Hill video (posted 3-13-2024), I was hoping for another Beacon Hill visit eventually, and now we have one thanks to this newest video! 🙂

My friend purchased a beautiful loft in the theater district, and she paid 2 million dollars. The flooring was so thin that you could hear the downstairs neighbor stirring his coffee. She was forced to sue the developer, and she got her money back with interest. It took almost 2 years. DO YOUR HOMEWORK before buying. She is a powerful Boston attorney with lots of connections, which is why she was able to get her money back.

Hi! Do you know if any of these will be subsidized? Boston is in desperate need of more affordable/mixed income housing so hopefully this does. Especially being right below accessible public transit - a dream come true for so many!

Good photography and good information! Does Boston have a Citizen of the Year award? Let's give the award to Charlie for 2024 for all these great videos! I'm a little surprised to see an interior stairway (in a unit) at 2:16 and 9:47 in this video, apparently implying that the unit occupies part of two floors in the building. I have not seen very many interior stairways (in units) in Charlie's videos, especially not in mid-rise or high-rise buildings. The automated parking system at 5:30 makes me hope that this building is exempt from Murphy's Law (about problems happening)! Perhaps there would be some benefit in having the parking system (or the entire building, or all of Charlie's buildings) blessed by a priest. Just a happy thought. 🙂

Great buildings. Would wonder being so close to the harbor and the age if the concrete is having issues. Operable windows, meaning that they open fully or part way? Scary.
