The bamboo has lots of stripping because of the many pieces that are glued together and have different grains and shades to begin with.

We bought am 80w china CO2 almost a month ago but still haven"t use it cause we have so much large format printing right now. And still a newbie for using this machine. My question is how do you center your project logo on the material? Watching from the Philippines.

I've been doing a lot of black on white DurMark and the dust that sticks is weird. In some areas it will come right off with the slightest touch, and in other areas (and sometimes not even near where I lasered) I have to aggressively clean it with alcohol (soap and water does not work). Doing so tends to make the background color dull because of all the microscratches. I'll have to see if i can find a new nozzle so I can try this.

My friend wants me to engrave something on his picnic table. I'm not sure how to account for the space/gap between the boards. Please help!

When you redid the letter G at the end of the video, how did you reference the G for the second pass? Or did you keep the reference position fron the 1st cut, and not move the material?

I wish I could like this more than once! The water trick was so awesome. The first picture I did on wood I made only 1 pass and was disappointed. I did the second pass on the next one and it helped so much. Thanks again!

I have a 40W laser and tried to engrave a portret on granite. File was .bmp which my laser is also using. I wad surprised that laser started to engrave versa colors, like black areas on original portret white on granite. I did not inverse image before engraving. Do you have a solution for this? Thank you in advance By the way, I tried your trick with acrilic paint, it is so usefull, thank you very much!!!!

Have you had any issues with banding on portraits ??. Im having annoying banding when i laser on tile or canvases..

Wouldn't it just be easier to turn the air down instead of replace the nozzle? I mean, the nozzle only directs the air, less air, less debris blowing back on the material, regardless of the hole size. I do it all of them time without the extra steps you use.
