Hi, I'm Theresa Cottone, and welcome to my channel. Creativity has always been a positive outlet for me. Through triumphs and struggles it's allowed me to express myself and brought me joy and fulfillment. I now want to share all that I've learned with you. I don't know where this journey will take me but I'm inviting you to come along.
Update: It’s been a hot minute since I’ve put out any new crafting videos. Between a global pandemic and having a baby, my time to make labor intensive filmed and edited tutorials has been limited. But I still have a passion for crafting and storytelling. So even though the content I put out might not be as polished or have high production values it’s still 100% me. I was going to make this for my baby cousin
Awesome. Just remember that if your cousin is an actual baby / toddler that the little rubber bands can be a choking hazard if they undo them. But if it’s just for decoration or if they’re older then you don’t have to worry as much.

Can we make this with normal size of socks?
Yes definitely. If you’re using bigger socks the bear itself will be bigger so you’ll probably need more cotton ball stuffing. You can tie off more nub for the ears, arms, legs etc. if they aren’t looking proportional.

The legs and tail can get a little tricky. Make sure that you aren’t overstuffing the bear or maybe try stretching the sock a little before. You can always try again. The bears in the video are like the 10th version I made.

@@mariademetriou1526 Baby socks would be too little. I recommend either full sized kid socks or adult sized ankle socks.
@@mariademetriou1526 It will work. But try not to stuff it too much with the rice because you want it to have a little bit of give when you squeeze. Also just making sure this isn’t going to be given to a baby/toddler (they could choke on the rice/rubber bands).

I don’t really make jewelry but I do have 2 videos with button necklaces. I also use beads in a project for some thanksgiving table settings. But there are so many great youtubers who specialize in beaded jewelry. I’m sure you’ll find some awesome content. 👍

If you actually have stuffing thats even better. I recommend cotton balls in the video because not everyone has access to stuffing / it can get pricey if it’s the nice stuff. Your bear will be even softer. 😁
