I combine hiking with a little bit of history. I'm especially interesting in SoCal waterfalls, historical ruins/relics, mines, peaks, crosses, sites with fossils, caves, fire lookouts, all things abandoned, and any California historic landmarks and monuments.

Sara ali wont let him rest
I used to go and park my car out near that way to get some sleep when I had nowhere to go. It's a really chill spot
I always think of the Karate Kid when I see footage of the Chatsworth nature preserve, especially the pond, hills and rock formations.
Whomever is Rappin voice is annoying.😢
It's great that you documented the ruins of Llano del Rio. Congratulations. You may have gotten confused over the dates that Llano del Rio functioned in California. It was here from 1913 to 1917. When things fell apart in California, Job (rhymes with "robe") moved his colony to Louisiana. I'm eager to see your other features.
Anyone else immediately recognize that little church from West World?
Very interesting. I lived in the SF Valley then. My friend and I had planned an afternoon visit. While I put away the few things that fell out of the kitchen cabinets..they were facing the opposite way of the quake's shaking so no damage, my uncle called worried..he worked for the dept of water and power, I told him we were fine. When my friend arrived with her portable radio going we saw neighbors throwing things into their car and driving off. I wasn't worried since we in Reseda & weren't anywhere near the area down from the dam or near the flood zone control. My friend's mom in Canoga Park called and she and her kids went there. Then my mom called and said she was going to be in charge of the cafeteria at an evacuation school so my two daughters and I went there for the day. Nothing ever happened and we all went back home. Thank God the dam didn't break but it seems now that they did have issues.
There’s one I went to located in the Agua Caliente Preservation outside of Palm Springs, California. That one is Tahquitz Falls. That one you do have to pay a fee for going to see it. I went in early May 2024. The fourth day of May 2024 to be exact. That one is a nice waterfall fueled by a big rain if no snow is on Mount San Jacinto. If there’s a good amount of snow. I went in May since the snowmelt is what fueled the flow of this waterfall.
Greetings from Burro Schmidt Tunnel. We enjoyed this historic and important place. Appreciate your work. I just posted a video of this unique tunnel. SoCal is one of our favorite places. So much to do. I started my own travel channel in January and look forward to hitting 1000 subs and the 4000 watch hours. I love the challenge and especially enjoy sharing this gorgeous country with as many people as I can. I have gobs of information and experience because I’ve traveled this country fulltime for over 31 years and been to over 250 National Parks, hundreds of State Parks and other public hiking locations. Safe travels to you. Edit on!
I love it when there is no context given 😂

That was Tom Mix jumping across the cut. Before the cut was built there were steps cut in the sandstone by the side of the cut which helped people club up the steep hillsides The entire area has been destroyed . Eroded. it's not even worth hiking up there anymore. There is a movie made in 1947 below which shows Beales cut in the first 2 minutes of the movie ruclips.net/video/1RHFVN_zSUg/видео.htmlsi=RB6xIICGzrXCu8NC
Where in the AV is this?
Mom worked there in the 70’s all the way to 2003
Any luck?
Yes he is the one who cheated on Sara Ali
@0:14 Where is that church?
Lmao I live 30 mins from it. A friend and i went out there to see what it looks like and it's private property. It was also DRY lol. I assure you, it's not bottomless.
Could you film the house of the film The man from earth?
Ac Harmon “cap”?
GREAT research! Well Done!
It is really sad to see all of these historic markers that have been stolen, and not replaced, as they'd just get stolen again. Some people just have no decency in this world anymore!
How do you get to the top of the dam?!
Nice production Sir.
Hw to open hdml2
How do I get DVR
The Tehachapi Loop for the railroad between Bakersfield and Mojave, California uses this strategy to gain elevation in a limited distance.
What’s with the moronic music?
I am 63 now and remember as a teen a tv show that featuring the burro tunnel ,the corral castle and the watts towers. Three men with a similar spirit. Each project they chose, has to be seen to be believed. I feel the powerful folks in charge have killed that spirit.
sliding off the waterfall into the pool is the quickest & most fun way to get to it, but that path on the left @1:36 is the quickest way to hike to/from the pool. *fave spot in LA!* 🤫
God loves all of you turn to God and obey him God bless all of you pray 🙏 Amen 🙏 🙏🙏🙏🙏
The hiking trail looks really nice. Looks like a hidden gem with stunning waterfalls and breathtaking natural scenery. It's a shame, though, that the beauty is marred by graffiti. The contrast between natural beauty and the defaced spots is striking. Too bad humans had to go and ruin it.
don’t stand in one spot too long, you may get graffitied
She said he will spend the rest of his life there
Wow, all of that graffiti really made a beautiful place ugly. 😢
this is my backyard since childhood days. was just there with one of my sons. graffiti's always been a problem in these hills. it's cleaned regularly... LA ☹
As much as I go to this park, I never knew that
Unfortunately tweakers stole the markers to buy more tweak....
