Elephant Rock in Simi Valley | The sandstone rock formation that looks a lot like an elephant

Located in Sycamore Park in Simi Valley. This natural sandstone rock formation was once a Chumash campsite and a popular picnicking spot for Simi Valley pioneer families. There’s also a nearby rock shelter with fire blackened ceiling. It’s a special place that thankfully has remained well preserved and is open for public viewing.

It sure did look a lot nicer when there were no houses around...but at least it's still there! Very nice video, I did not know about Elephant Rock!
