Hello bro,,,do you have any communication way to reach you out,,,i have an issue with my jeep,,,so please share any way to get to you
I have to tell I got rid of my jeep a long time ago but maybe I can still help you with something
thanks, worked100%
What position does the actuator door need to be in when you install the new actuator?
I just put it in. When you start the truck it will go to its default spot. Its been a while since I did this, but pretty sure.
I looked up on of my old replies. Disconnect your battery and then connect it again put your settings on auto and it will calibrate itself
Just saved me like 3+ hours! Thought I had to remove the entire dash!
If you don't stop for a beer every 30 min it doesn't take too long.
Read Comments, AWESOME PEOPLE FIX THINGS . THIS GUY WAS VERY GIFTED, TO POST THIS . BLESSINGS
Early 2024 and here I am with the same issue. Juan, I followed this exact pattern without incident. For anyone trying this, the 8mm wrench from Hart, sold at walmart, will fit perfectly on the screws. I had to cut my wrench in half to get room for rotation, but as long as you go straight up and down as Juan shows, no problem.
Did this still work??
I can't line up the new blend door, or even when trying the old blendor. Is there a trick to it? I've been trying on and off all day..
Sorry just saw this. I had no issues with mine. Once you turn it on it will adjust itself after you connect the battery
@@juandegollado7808 I can’t get the actuator on in place.. :/
I don’t know what to tell you man. Maybe search thru the H2 forums for your answer
Super help merci
Man the white clips how do unleash them for that damn handle
If I remember it’s been a while you push them in and pull on bar
I did that..still nothing
I just got done. Piece of cake. Works like a new one. Thanks for the help and inspiration
Just saved yourself about 600 bucks or more
U are damn good fixing to do mine
It’s not that bad. I pretty much showed you where all the clips are so you won’t break them.
I have a 2004 Hummer H2 and Vent is Stuck On Defrost Only. What Would Be The Fix For it? Any Info Is Much Appreciated
Sorry, I have not done one of those. I would assumed this just like fixing the one I posted. It probably will be easier since they say the hot and cold is the hardest.
John wish I could help you man I haven’t had that problem yet so I haven’t tackled it. My suggestion is to just Google it. Somebody has had that problem.
on my xj .. the power door locks quit working while on passenger side. works fine while on driver side. did all the usually clean connectors checked grounds and fuses. on mine is was in the over head dome light. there is 2 plugs inside unplug the big connector . every thing comes back on check engine light goes out and abs. leave it unpluged . when you plug it back up you hear power door locks work and no bus will return. the big plug is for keyless entry leave it unplugged. my no bus has not returned.
Thanks for the info. Sadly I no longer have my xj, the motor decided to retire
Thank you thank you!
Any time!
What causes this malfunction ?
My guess, moisture dirt and grime get in those connectors. Those connectors aren’t sealed. At least it doesn’t look like they are.
@@juandegollado7808 would it be behind the gauges?
@@xxflyingwafflexx1802 it’s the connectors. I think the gauges are fine. The brass connectors just get corrosion on them.
Thank you Sir! Great job on the video! Helped me a lot!
Thanks! Took me 5 mins no exaggeration to take the cluster out. Chrysler really made these things nice to work on. My terminals behind the cluster looked clean but I had already bought the spray and sprayed the crap out of the plugs and harness as you said. Then I used some compressed air to blow everything dry. Put it all back together and it’s working perfectly!
all this is all well and good but it is an XJ >2000 model
If u don't know how it take for ever to find out
Do you have the part number for the actuator?
Im sorry but. It’s been a while and I don’t remember. Look on the Hummer forums im sure its on there as they go out all the time. Sorry wish I could help ya
So my 1999 xj I changed my heater core and after I plugged everything back in and tried to start it, it started and ran for about 5 seconds then died then the no bus popped up would that be caused by the just bad connection in the gauge cluster?
I don’t think so. Im thinking you moved something in the wiring to your fuse box or computer module.
thank you this.. im about to do this on mine
Thanks for your know how,we’ll try it.
Hello, can I use wd40 to clean? Thanks for your video
I would think so. I have used it on a lot pf electrical stuff.
You should be able to. Everyone I know swears by it. I personally us electronic cleaner.
NyQuil..
MAN! I just bought a 2001 Jeep Cherokee and had the No Gauges and the " NO BUS" alert. I am going to try this and see if it fixes my issue! thank you so much for posting this!!!
More than likely it will work.
What utility basket is that over the tire carrier? What brand?
It is made for a jeep. I bought it on ebay years ago. It was really easy to modify to fit my hummer. I had to make a mounting plate that fits behind the tire. If you send me an email i can take some pictures and send them to you. I think the basket was like 150 or 160. It wasn’t very expensive
Brother thank you so much
Proud of you man!! Great job 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
You can grab both bottom corners of the center section and gently remove it, easiest way I've found.
Muchas gracias, me sirvió muy bien.
Great job
Great video. Juan
Hey jaun. Can i give you a call please i have a 2004 H2 hot air blowing on driverside ....
Mine was on passenger side have not done the drivers side.
Awesome instructions … tried it and was able to repair the issue in just about a couple of hours.
Hi again, after my first message I did some more digging to see if I could get the actuator to move and make sure it's not broken before paying $100 for a new one. I found this video ruclips.net/video/vWBGKfl7k24/видео.html . I got it reset, tomorrow I'm going to reinstall it and see what happens. Mine started blowing hot air on the passenger side after having issues with a power drain. Have to keep charging the battery. That's still ongoing. I'll let you know what happens tomorrow with the actuator. Thanks again!
I can't thank you enough for this video. My 2003 Hummer H2 passenger side started blowing hot air. Without this video I wouldn't have been able to do it! Did everything you said. I also subscribed to your channel! Thank you so very much!!
Glad I could help
Awesome video bro, THANK YOU for posting. My 05 hummer h2 was stuck on heat on passenger side. Watched your video several times and went at it. One tip that work for me; due to having large hands, I filed down the wrench then cut it in half to create more turn room. Worked perfectly!!! Thx again Juan!
Glad it helped
@@juandegollado7808 hey im about to do it the mechanic said it will be $1200. But only the needle. On the temo guage is moving. A lil cold side meaning left it does not sound right
@@j.martinez111 That’s crazy man 1200. It’s not that hard. I don’t quite understand what you are talking about the gauge.
Thank you, Juan! I used this video as a guide to replace my blend door actuator yesterday. The video was beyond helpful. Thanks!
How you still making out with this?
No thank you for taking the time to show us what the HELL is going on in order to get fixed...!! 👍🇺🇸 #FUCK DEALERSHIPS
What switch or button inside your car activates the lights?
I ran a row of switches under the steering wheel. I’ll try to send you a picture.
I put a switch for ever pair of lights
Extra sporty good job
Valuable stuff saved some bucks on repair. Peace!
I have found one blended acuator under the dash next to the center console in this the same or i need to take the whole dash to remove the acuator for my passenger side
andrew redd You will have to take the dash out. The one you found is under by the glove box. It is not the same one.
Before you go ripping your interiors apart do yourself a favor, pop the hood and check the condition of your main body ground off the negative battery terminal
Thanks bro much appreciated it!
