I say we push into the dwarves. The dwarves will be the second largest threat next to Dorwinion with everyone buffed the dwarves should be beating the snow orcs into submission, plus your at war with them. Let Dorwinion and Dol gouldor wear each other out and gather forces northward instead of fighting Dorwinion for now.

Reagent spearguard can be recruited with Avari if we remember.

Varfest so strong they should replace Anduin Vale as a playable faction.

That Elgaer fight was peak EPM and very clutch....this campaign is going to steamroll...once you max out, Mistrand, Enmahadh and Matteram are all going to be 10k....you should be able to assemble some pretty epic golden armies within the first 100 turns. Maxing out the pop growth traits of whomever governs Neburkah would be in interesting exercise in the Sea of Rhun's full potential.

I hope the dragon artifact script is as unhinged as the murder incest axe

Do you start with trade agreements with Mordor and Khand? If not could be worth getting another diplomat and sending him south. Also that huge mercenary pool will be ideal if you need to take Lest from Dorwinion.

Can’t wait to see the Sea of Rhun light up light a Christmas Tree! It’ll be satisfying to see the golden boys soon. One thing I wanted to mention, I think at one point the script said in order to train chariots you need to capture Stondost and Cara’s Sant only. I’m pretty sure you’ll need Sant Annui as well but time will tell. Also curious to see the Khandiah units. I feel like if they go good and you take their starting regions you could train those units listed in the waystation. Again time will tell but this’ll be a fun watch for sure👌🏻

Speaking about the watchtowers reminded me,some madman did make a "submod" for DaC which adds watchtowers to all regions so you have visibility on the entire region from the get-go,not save-compatible iirc but something to keep in mind for the next playthrough?

Cant wait to see how this campaign develops! And hopefully Caras Sant doesn't get retaken 9 times like they did in the ND one XD.

Did you run the campaign forward at all to see if Gondor and Rhun would fight? Or Dol Amroth and AA/Harad?

I'm glad Dunedain Chris Pratt got taken out of moth balls after 30 siege defenses to finally get an offensive battle.

The fun thing with rome and medieval 2 is that there are so many little touches to the campaign like the plague trade block that arent really advertised but are just there if you look, little things that just make sense to exist.

this was an amazing campaign and I bet if you gave it another 20-30 turns you'd be seeing Rhun and Ar-dunaim doom stack messages. you taking out mordor so fast was a huge game changer. also i see gondor had one of their full stacks starting to march into mordor so I think they were about to fufill their oath. also you were just now upgrading ost sul for the second time after 190 turns which is amazing how long you managed to milk that map for. what is your next campaign going to be?

We had a storm in Ireland last Thursday and it left upwards of 750k people without electricity which considering the total population of Ireland is like 5 million, its a pretty significant figure, a lot of internet was knocked out too and many people didnt have water. And some people wont even have power till next Tuesday, crazy times. Sad that the campaign is ending i was downloading episodes and binge watching them on my holiday in south africa in between trips 😅 great way to unwind

Top Heroes of the campaign: 1) Gandalf (saved Gondor by destroying the One Ring, possibly turning the tide in favor of all the good factions) 2) Aragorn (saved Rohan against the threat of the iron fist of Isengard) 3) Halbarad (Defended Tharbarad against endless waves of enemies, defeated many dunlendings and fishermen) 4) High elves: helped the dunedain to defend Cameth Brin 5) Wood elves: after having their capital under siege pushed back against the snow orcs, demolishing them 6) Dwarves of Erebor and Khazad-Dum: rallied against the snow orcs and Rhun 7) Dorwinion: held valiantly agains the threat of Rhun, losing and then retaking their capital many many times 8) Gondor and Rohan: didn't die

The magic of auto resolve nearly as good as auto correct. Can just imagine being offered the title of Overlord and politely turning it down.

Having a mammoth viewing session. Nothing beats a bit of EPM apart from tatters

Have you tried the free cam mod? Its very easy to setup and should work on top of dac, give you camera controls similar to newer total war games and will let you have much more control over zooming and panning

At the 1H 08M time stamp, when you talked about the Royal Barracks bit. My only problem is why make me 30%+ culture to recruit them. if the area is 85%+ my culture "logically" those are now MY people, not Middle men etc...

i think you lose that auto-resolve because that angmar general have full stars when defending and you have only captains and not generals in that two armies..

watching a chap Dorwin only elves , fancy that? He kept the generals deleted the ooman armies it's quite intresting.
