Oh, this is awesome! I always find my heart moved by how you depict Odysseus' struggles.

BRB sobbing, there's so many little things I love about this. Penelope being there through a dream, Eurylochus standing there to defend Odysseus, Penelope's tear seeming to fall on Odysseus' cheek... Such attention to detail, and making such a powerful song even more moving.

While it makes a good theatrical scene to use the popular version in modern culture, I would prefer to see the accurate version of the sirens (or maybe rather "hear" considering it's a song)

I got chills watching Circe attempt to seduce Odysseus. She scares me 😅 That line "But there's no puppet here"...I wonder if it was meant to imply Odysseus was technically choosing to allow her to have her way until his conscience would no longer allow it.

To be honest, when I first heard this song, I thought Eurylochus was making a big deal of Odysseus sacrificing six of their men, but now I understand: When they faced Polyphemus (the cyclops), they fought him. Thus caused Polyphemus to kill Polities and another lit of men With Posiedon, Posiedon was the one who killed all but 44 men (43 if you don't count Odysseus) With Circe, she was the one who turned all the 42 men into pigs, and only one man was killed (by getting drunk and falling off the roof.) Now with Scylla, Odysseus was the one to tell Eurylochus to light the six torches probably because he *knew* Scylla was attracted to light! This means that when he told his men to "row for their lives", he wanted the six men holding the torches to die because of the light of the fire. Odysseus was the one who *let* Scylla kill the six men

The way zues looks at ody’s wife as if saying “this is the true color of man” as he strips everything from him. Making him choose his own pride to see his wife- or be selfless and save his crew. ❤❤❤❤

I love when Eury stood in the way. I much prefer him standing with Ody till the end rather than turning on him to try and kill him. It delivers such a stronger tear jerker

My favorite depiction of this song. Penelope, forced there through the will of Zeus, watching her husband make one of the hardest decision of his time so far. And she urges him to come home. Odysseus is going through so much.

I love how seriously the emtions are taken here. How absolutely broken Odysseus looks as he surveys the wreckage of Poseidon...

Bro, having Odysseus' wife in the animatic was an awesome touch! It gives a reason for the female voice in the song and adds impact to his choice. Plus her rushing to the window when she wakes up. Perfect. I also like how you are the first one to have Eurylochus protect Odysseus from the crew.

I know gigi and Wolfy are amazing animators, but personally this is my favorite depiction of Odysseus and this contains my favorite portrayals of the struggles going on.

I honestly love the favt that you had Scylla follow the boat and stay to the side of said boat and sing to him " you are the same you and i" part god that feels like something that the real scylla would do.

Best Animatic I've come across for any of the Epic songs yet. Loved the creative additions, as it really makes Ody seeing Penelope more sensical, yet magical. (and less like a mind drifting into hallucinations )

What a unique Zeus design! I've never seen Zeus represented with a long blonde braid. I love it! He almost makes me think of Apollo like this, which is very fun!

The best rendition of Mutiny in my eyes. My favourite thing has to be that Eurilochus has a normal-sized sword here. I mean, as someone who did fencing with different kinds of blades, I'm always struggling with the suspension of disbelief when it comes to ultra-big anime/fantasy sword. Here, Eurylochus feels like a real human fighter, and a dangerous one at that. My second favourite thing is Odysseus commanding his men, while being tied to the mast. Really shows that a born leader will stay a leader in any situation :)

With the first verse of Zeus talking and “her” being pride to describe the choices that Odysseus and his men have worked really well with the cloudy figure visually But you including Penelope being their in astral form makes it seem like when Zeus says “Show her I’m the judgement call” he’s talking about Penelope instead of pride. A wonderful artistic direction to go with the this song the raise it to another level 🎉🎉
