My natural tongue position is on my teeth without any pressure so my palette is narrow would resting the tip of my tongue behind my teeth in the proper area even if i wasn't actually resting the 2nd and 3rd part be a good way to start so only tip of the tongue behind teeth correctly but not the rest because i can only do that and I've been trying to swallow correctly would that eventually make it easier so that i can do it correctly? I don't want to end up with more issues but differently need to start slowly

Hello! I'm seeking advice on how to strengthen my upper lip. Currently, my mentalis muscle is overactive, causing a chin dimple to form when I close my lips. Furthermore, my lower lip is slightly flipped outward. When I use a cotton roll to exercise my upper lip and attempt to close my mouth, I notice increased activity in my mentalis muscle, resulting in deeper chin dimples. However, I'm confused about how this exercise will effectively target and strengthen my upper lip, as it seems to be primarily engaging my mentalis muscle. Can you please clarify the intended mechanism and benefits of this exercise for upper lip strength

I sometimes scoop the saliva to swallow, but sometimes use sides of my tongue to let the saliva come in the middle of the tongue when it is suctioned to the roof of my mouth when I swallow. Is that normal too? Using both scooping and non scooping?

hey there, can you clarify what the goal is between the two examples of posture given at the 2 minute mark. should the center of the tongue be pulled down creating a cave or should the middle tongue be lightly suctioned up as well?

I struggle with lifting the back of my tongue. I have to do extra effort and when I achieve it I can open my mouth much less vs only lifting the front part. Could this be related to having a tongue tie?

When I put my tongue on the roof on my mouth only the edge of my tongue pushes on my palate but not the sides. I also have the impression that now my palate looks higher ... how can I correct this?

I had no idea about the anterior tongue thrust! Learning about that has helped and improved my swallow to avoid my tongue going forward. Thank you so so much.

Also, if you can't open your mouth as wide with the tongue at the roof than you can when the tongue is at rest, then you probably have a tongue tie.

Can tmj jaw surgery along with braces or aligners help with Marriette lines? I was told I have a very narrow airway , they suggest surgery along with braces I guess so mouth doesn’t have to be wired shut? Thank you. Would you mind doing a video about clockwise rotation (not ccwr) of both jaws( and also moving them both forward, mainly lower jaw). That's what surgeon plan is for me (I'm class II) . He claims that cwr will more reveal my upper teeth when I smile and therefore the lower jaw should be rotated accordingly (the last part is what I'm thinking not his words)
