You get a 1.5 crop in any lens with the FX30 body be it a fullframe lens or apsc lens, with the full frame lens you’re at an advantage cause you actually use the center of the glass which actually leaves you with a genuine sharp image or footage

Sony does have their own raw sort of format. On their Venice line and Burano. But I don’t see them cannibalizing. I just want the articulating screen from a7r5 a93 and a1 m2 . Some of the new features, and in dreamworld may be open gate with a new wider sensor. Triple ISO to compete with C80 . I don’t know it’s a dream camera that May never exist in that way, and will be hard to afford, regardless.

Only an extra 1.5 times crop when shooting 4k 120….. 4K 24,30 & 60 you will only see the standard crop you get with APSC cameras.

ISO should be at 125… 100 is too wide… you can go with 100 … but a good photography ISO is 125 and then change light and UV intensity.

My choice, regarding quality, was B camera (for many reasons, too long to list here). And I was not surprise to learn this angle was from the FX30, which I own and use with such pleasure, superb output, confidence my budget won't explode (last lens purchase would not have been possible if camera was a 24x36 sensor), "pro look" of the whole package (yes, it matters sometimes... to my biggest surprise, but I had to admit it !), expansion posibilities of this camera, ergonomics and UI, etc. Any company should have one, as an A camera for smaller ones, a B camera for bigger ones, a BTS camera for huge productions... it's a "Swiss knife" of a camera, that's worth all its price and look. Great video, great tests, great analysis !

I WOULD NOT BUY IT AGAIN, BIG BUMMER FOR PEOPLE NEED THE EYESIGHT, ALSO HAD PROBLEMS WITH IT SWITCHING TO MANUAL WHILE SHOOTING.

Also most of the nice cinematic shot you see use a mist filter on the Osmo. Softens the sharp video look of Osmo,, I use 1/8 or 1/4 mist filters… looks better than some of the dehance style effects in video editing software!

D-Log M, not D-Log. It is a "discounted" log profile from DJI. It isn't as good comparing to the D-Log but serviceable nonetheless.

EV -0.3 is my sweet spot.
