You know what's crazy. I've started reading Watchmen for the first time and I searched "80's synth" or ambience or something, I don't remember, on spotify. Found a playlist that was perfect. Meanwhile I'm kind of binging all these Alan Moore videos, never heard of Steve Moore before Alan started mentioning him. Then yesterday, I was listening to the same playlist again.. and noticed that a lot of the tracks in the list were made by "Steve Moore" ... It's not the same Steve Moore, but still. It blew my mind. What kind of magic is this lol

Can movements like BLM really be considered “counter culture” when they have the complete backing of almost every corporation and institution? You’re not really a revolutionary if you’re pushing against an open door…

Thing is with Alan's snake worship is that he worships a god he KNOWS is false and doesn't consider that a big deal. His explanations of his magic have always said that it could just be read as a mixture of psychology, in the way that meditation doesn't require any supernatural beliefs even if it often comes with them, and art. And yeah historically it seems art / psychology / magic were all much of one thing back when. Or at least he says so plausibly. So I can't see a rationalist having a problem with Alan's beliefs. If I had to guess, I'd say Alan sees it both ways, as a metaphor, but also as something with real reality to it, and maybe errs just on the side of it being actual real magic. Him continuing to worship a god that's completely debunked, on purpose, is a great way to do it.

That's a bit out of left field! Besides the obvious, there's nothing at all in common between the two men. One was a big Hollywood guy into money and fame. Alan just sits in his Northampton terrace, writing, like the guru who decided the key to it all was to become a fisherman, have a family, and go to the village pub now and then.

I say. We support the children, teens, and young adults alike. Teaching them good manners. Not indoctrinate them to blind socialism or the occurrence of the 2016 youth riot movements. Especially in China on 2019. I know it happened, but it didn't resonate with me at all. That's is something I would like to forget. Like the young people trying reclaim the power from the older generation would do more bad and harm. Than being considered good and justified. Reclaiming power will not do them any favors. I am glad these events were never heard from again. It was definitely the right thing. Forget these incidents, and future generations don't even want to acknowledge it.

Like I have said before, I don't watch movies and TV shows. For politics or social commentary. I like, when media has political and social philosophical commentary as a passing mention. Don't shoehorn and overuse it. It doesn't need to be the focus of the entire story. It can work well as a passing mention.

Why Book Adaptations Need To Serve to the Producers and Higher Ups From Hollywood. Book film adaptations like Eragon, Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, Percy Jackson, Twilight, Atlas Shrugged, Harry Potter, The Seeker, The Hobbit, Jumper, and so many more. Use 100-200 budget for production. They use cgi and practical effects as a way to experiment. These are not superhero movies. There a reason why Alan Moore criticized more specifically at superhero movies. Because he thinks superhero stories, especially Marvel and DC, have their source material cannibalized to hollywood. And are serving to the higher ups of hollywood. Book adaptations need to serve hollywood producers and the higher ups by a lot of film studios. Have been a trend for so many decades age. Possibly, since the very beginning and introduction of hollywood. Since they have nothing else left to go. Even if the book adaptations are butchered, authors aren't involved, criticized by die hard fans, or go against the source material. Like I have said, I am giving it a pass and let it slide. Producers, and everyone who worked by hollywood. Have their right to do what they want to do with the book adaptations. There is no thing as perfect, only experiment and add changes. In order to become relevant to die hard fans, scholars, analysts, and average people alike. Book adaptations can be what it wants to be. Let it become what it can be. There is no definitive answer to adapt books in other media.

I believe, my parents are in between Baby Boomers and Generation X. They may been, a piece of the flower power type. Their entire lives. I am against lashing at any kind of person. Because, I am considered a snowflake. Who is sensitive, overly emotional, and unable to deal with others opinions. This goes with my personality. I am a flower child as well. My brother Andy, is a fierce, rebellious yet leadership type. My second brother, Jesse is just like my brother Andy. But toned down yet loyal type. And for my youngest sister sibling, Alejandra. Is a sassy, yet caring type. As for me, I am kind, have spatial awareness, complain a little bit, yet peaceful, shy, timid, and have simplistic idealistic views. I may look like my dad, yet I have my mom's personality traits. I am a combination of snowflake and a flower child type. Being rebellious like joining a rebellious movement. And this "I will show a piece of my mind, or I will not stand down!" Quotes. To me, feels like signs of rebellious ideas. I am not joining any rebellious or anarchist movements. Especially sjws. Since I feel suspicious they are cult movements than a guiding path for civilization and humanity. This goes against my snowflake and flower child personality. After all this entire time I never was aware. I have been a snowflake and a flower child type. This whole time, I feel proud being this way.

True about modern home recording. I did my first stuff on an 8 track machine. I did my best/polished stuff on as many tracks as I wanted. The earlier stuff sounds more desperate and energetic with me having to play the whole song from start to finish thus it means more to me. There is now no reason to make any more music. There is no demand or appreciation. I moved on to art, found the same situation; then to writing and found no one had any concentration after scrolling all day. Finally, I'm writing for someone else who has an audience in place. To be an artist is almost like a curse. But I'm very grateful to have even a chance to get 'out there' in any way.

My sincerest belief, without any knowledge of science or time, is that as your die, the last few impulses in your brain imagine an eternity. So even after your brain has decayed and there are no more neurons or whatever, you are still perceiving this world, whatever form that takes. Although has someone who has sort of secluded themselves mostly for years and years, I can safely say likely you don't go mad, your body and brain just rot away and your cognition isn't there anymore, your body fucks up, you don't understand people or life. I wish I had the touch of madness these people like Moore have. The sad reality is that being a lonely old man (I am 30 but feel old, very old) is tediously dull and suicide inducing, but there is little illuminating there.
