Просмотров 2,1 тыс.28 дней назад

Scientists and doctors have barely scratched the surface in studying this phenomenon and what it might mean for indicating hormonal and tissue health. Dr. Rubin outlines what we know and what we have been observing at the office. You can find more f...
Where and how to apply vaginal estrogen
Просмотров 3,1 тыс.Месяц назад
We get this question all the time! Vaginal estrogen is typically inserted in the vagina and helps to acidify the tissue to prevent infection. But is there any benefit to using vaginal estrogen products (like Estrace cream) on the external genitals, like the urethra, vestibule, or labia minora? If someone uses a vaginal tablet insert, do they need to have a separate cream to apply to external st...

Doc Rubin, What about rebounding? I understand it helps the bladder as well. Would appreciate your advice. 🙏🏻
Will labia minora seem very big and sometime have seen come out of cunt. is this because of using very big coke or is it used by so many men ?
As someone who was a cna for 5 years and had to get up close and personal with residents in the nursing home not once did I see those disappear on the women they all still had them. So I don't know how much of this I believe.
Could perimenopause be the reason I keep having consistent yeast infections even with taking both Diflucan each time & continuous probiotics? 44, hysterectomy w/removal of one ovary at 27. Terrible night sweats/hot flashes for 2.5yrs. I have an estrogen/test pellet & take progest PO. I’ve even done a vag microbiome which showed high yeast, and low good bacteria. Dr. gave me two more Diflucan🙄🤯
Wait what?!? Disappear😮 I just learned there are 9 different labia shapes. I’m too scared to learn anything else at 44🤦🏼♀️🫠
But I'm frequently still having my period. And also I don't even care anymore it's like not even a turn on anymore with anyone I don't even have a sex life so it doesn't really matter it's been over 18 years haven't been with anybody else separated from my ex-spouse never getting back with him again it was terrible 4 years ago he's all that I knew of was with for over 17 years which is incarcerated and when we were living together we were only roommates because it got so bad and I stopped sleeping with him for quite a few years because of him messing around with other women I had to get double checked all the way from Chanute Kansas to Iola Kansas Doctors Hospital women's clinic I've been checked already by almost all of them and which is I have a Instagram video explaining that too and hopefully have enough money to get my teeth fixed that it's taking a while to have enough for that because of everything I just spent have a place to live in a vehicle and a lot and utilities and things and this and that the storage and and also for my medications and things like that that I need to have that's way over a thousand dollars but hopefully if I can get my teeth fixed and then never have to worry about the person that had such an issue to do with that with me will never meet ever I would never ever have to worry about being with me. There I fixed that for real for real the person would never have to worry about that at all because they don't ever have to be with me ever at all it's all right😊
Everything has been tried for me nothing worked I was even told stop using after one month . I don't feel one month is enough but followed instructions. I fully agree with your recommendation to give it longer. Why don't doctors know this?
One good solution to UTI - vibrators, copious amounts of lube, and vaginal application HRT Theoretically, the O can help release fluids from the skeins gland which can help clean out the urethra. O can improve blood flow to the area. O helps keep uterine muscle tone. Inflammation from UTI and/or thrush can lead to symptoms that mimic mental health symptoms from irritability all the way to psychosis. Yes, I am suggesting that vibrators be considered a healthcare device (because they are) and that doctors figure out how to suggest medicinal orgasms (seperate from sexual engagement with another individual) (Fmr reproductive PhD student. The above is based on the literature I've read over the years and the research of one of my undergraduate lecturers)
65 now, dry as a chip and tired of my husband, quit sex years ago.
Sadly on a LS information day here in the Netherlands a gynaecologist said there are no estrogen receptors on the vulva and that therefore there's no reason to use vaginal hormones....It's so frustrating that this misinformation is being spread big time, like this....
You... Literally said nothing new
Not taking then not worth cancer in the future.
I am post menopausal and I still have my big labia wings...lol
After starting Premarin one month and I had the worst yeast infection of my life. It took two Diflucan and a Lee the counter to make it go away. Two weeks later. Is there a way to ease into using it?
I’m confused. Studies I’ve read said that local/vaginal low-dose estrogen has only been tested for up to 52 weeks (re: safety of endometrial proliferation), so beyond that, the data is unclear as to whether endometrial thickening may occur. If we absorb estrogen systemically through patches and gels, how can this not be the same case for mucosal absorption? Thanks for any insights.
Okay, all I care about right now is trying to get pregnant at 39. Absolutely in the early/mid stage of perimenopause. What can I do with being blacklisted from hormones due to history of migraines with aura that have put me in the hospital unconscious, and family history of stroke?
Thanks mam it helped me a lot
I used to have UTI's like 8-12 times a year and could never understand why. And I visited the gynecologist about 8 times by the age of 21. That's when I decided to look "down there" with a mirror. Turns out my urethra is about 1.5 inches INSIDE my vagina. I went to the gyno and she was like "oh yeah you're right" she literally didn't notice or care that I didn't have a visible urethra in our previous visits. Then I went to the urologist with this and he confirmed that it is not common but also not that rare to have it where it's not supposed to be. I told him that it's weird that my friends usually get UTI's after their periods because the ph gets less acidic with blood but I, someone who's extremely prone to UTI's never got one during that time. He said "you must be wearing a tampon right". Turns out every time I pee I mess up my vaginal ph a bit because of my urethra's location and the only time when those two are actually separated is when I wear a tampon. He suggested I drink more water to make it less alkaline( I always drank a little and dehydration didn't really bother me), lean into a more ketogenic diet and trim instead of shaving. A year later, I only had a minor UTI. He said I can get surgery to put my urethra back where it's supposed to be after I give birth and that we shouldn't do surgery before then but it is an option. I can't even imagine how many gynecologists just miss sooo many important details while women keep suffering. Since the urologist said this condition it really not that rare, there must be a ton of women who suffer every day and don't know the reason why. If not for me being bored and curious that evening I would've kept being in frequent pain and fear. You need to take care of yourself first and rely on doctors second! They are not with you 24/7 like your own body so they will miss things.
i never grew any labia minora at all. I'm rocking the hot dog bun. Now I'm 34 with cystocele and perimenopause.... yaaay
2:28 I’m hurting SOCIETY?! Calm down no I’m 100% not Stop jeez
She means you're hurting society by not taking proper care of yourself first.
Women just need to do what works best for them and not feel shamed regardless of what that may be.
Well well well, what has the algorithm brought me to today? How many inches did you say would disappear?
Love ❤️ ❤ How wonderful!!!
60 and definitely had bits and pieces disappearing.😮
Why was this created?
Am I the only one who feels relieved that nature finally says : you’ve done your part. Now feel free to roll over and get a good night sleep. Please don’t say there’s something wrong with me. I’m thrilled about it😊.
Omg yes. Now I need to convince my husband of this or just waiting for the day he can't rise up anymore.
@ nature has a way of letting them know as well. Lol
Yes! Menopause hasn't been a big, ugly, scary monster for me, so maybe I'm just lucky. As for losing my "drive", who cares at this point? The only drive I care about is in my car, going anywhere and anytime and not worrying about getting an inconvenient period! Shrinking inner labia be damned, I'm busy being myself again. And no, there's NOTHING wrong with you!!
@@lillianmargaretb9998Yup. But pharmaceutical companies have a way of convincing men that women are still interested in marathon sessions...with old guys. Lol
What about uterine cancer survivors?
What many Drs don’t tell is that DIET impacts hormones and what we eat impacts hormones. Many of us are not eating real food. Processed foods drastically impact our hormones.
Wow I didn’t know any of this, this is so interesting even though it’s going to be a good 20+ years before I go through menopause
I'm on Carnivor, ive no symptoms. I'm 55yrs. Periods 6 weeks.
Thank you
Some women here are stupid ngl
Helpful information, thank you!
I was recently diagnosed as peri menopausal which explained the changes, but also didn't explain them lol ... *So thank you for explaining this!*
As for avoiding urinary infections, I have found Lume acidified soap has solved this.
Can someone educate us on black women and menopause please. We age differently from white women,
Imagine my surprise when I accidentally hit this instead of a menopause info video…I Don’t drink and not a dude so…thanks for the information though
Thank you 🩷
GenX is better at talking.
I tried using it but it made my tissue weep blood. I am soooo sensitive to products. What is available, now?
Someone else commented that they use coconut oil... it's natural and may help... oh wait, you were speaking of local hormone therapy lol
It is NOT "really safe" to use hormones if you have had or are at risk for breast cancer. Through people I know and myself, we have been told not to use local hormone therapy.
I WAS TODAY YEARS OLD!!
I am one of those with no labia or anything else down there. Breast cancer so no HRT. Just live with it.
Thank-you for your straightforward explanations.
What a great introduction to not only what Dr. Winter is like, but how your clinic operates with patients. Being informed helps patients feel comfortable and willing to open up. Thanks for doing this video.
You’re just a baby at 40, wait until 45.
Can i ask a question? I've been reading through these comments and quite a few women had hysterectomies during perimenopause or shortly thereafter. Why?
fake information!
Hurting society? The real climate change!
So thats why I have cobwebs down there now lol
