    I see you have the auto start stop. Many 22 and 23 models does not have it due to chip shortage. My 23 STX does not have it. My STX is basically this truck with just an appearance package. Not one extra option. Kinda sucks not having lumbar though. Other than that I have everything I need.

    Good evening, is there a big drop in pressure? Can I do this with plastic pipes? Thanks for the video

    • @AlsGarageRestorations
      @AlsGarageRestorations 6 дней назад

      The filter unit at the end has adjustable pressure, so if I want to scale it down for spray painting for instance, I can. I would only recommend using piping that can handle the pressure of the compressed air.

      @thiagomacedo1640 6 дней назад

      @@AlsGarageRestorations I will use the recommended plastic piping, but I heard that the plastic will act as a thermal insulator, not allowing moisture to condense, what is your opinion? Thanks

    Great video. I have a 42 slat also. Been in the family since 10 /46. My great uncle bought it with a 44 Batam trailer. I almost sold both before I knew what I had. At first I thought the slat grille was a replacement that some body cheaply replaced. I have had it since 1975 my grand parents gave it to me. And the trailer. I drove it in college. I am now 70 and I have it in my shop going through a major frame off restro including new floors. Great project in my retirement. Keep up the good work.

    Couldn’t you hypothetically just do the drain and fill when the transmission is completely cold and hasn’t been driven for several hours and skip the leveling plug step? Update: so for those that want to skip the leveling plug step, if you do the drain as it’s cold, 3.5 quarts drain out, so you just add that amount back in after doing the drain

    strange you never mention level plug in side of box? when I do mine I put it on ramps , then remove front left wheel and use a axle stand then I use my jack under rear of car to make it level when adding fluid ! with level plug removed the oil pours in a lot faster ? then you start engine and run ir through gears pausing for 10 secs in each gear this get oil into torque converter , then top up once more until fluid comes out of level plug ,,
