I was between this bike and a Harley Street Glide Special and chose the HD for three reasons-1- storage capacity. The bags in the B are very small and not top loading. 2- Stereo on the B is lousy and aftermarket option for speakers is about $4k. 3- The BMW app that runs the big TFT has many bugs and no Apple Car Play. Really would like to get the B but for serious touring these issues are too much for me.

I travel a lot, too, but I'm a budget traveler, so I have no-name brand stuff from Amzn.😂 My tech pouch might be just a little bigger. But it cost me about $11. My watch is a casio world time at $40. My international power adapter has 4 USB C ports (and everything is USB C). My health pouch has tums/pepto, tylenol, band aids, alcohol wipes, etc. I have 2 x Chums wallets at $11 each, prime and backup(bright color and stays in hotel safe). Don't call me cheap.😂😂

I wouldn't bother to get a custom paint job just for some airpods. Just get an airpod pro case, theres loads of cool ones.

Would have liked to have seen you actually open up the trunk and saddlebags as that is an important reason to have that bike to begin with. Cargo and luggage capacity is super important for two up riding, long distance cross country.

Thanks for the heads up. I went this Sunday with a group from Facebook (So Cal ADVenture Riders). Great trail! I found it fairly easy with a great scenery. Don't get me wrong, it has some rough spots. But overall easy to ride. May I add I rode a 22 F850 GS and my buddy was in his 1250 GS. Just cruising. My post a video later.

I agree about the navigation attachment thing. This is a naked sports bike, not an adventure bike. BMW are missing their target audience with things like that. How much does that unit cost? And I have to pay for all the wiring and brackets for this massive ugly thing that I will remove immediately? I would probably make the shop remove it before I even pick up the bike because it's just an eyesore.

I've taken my GF for long rides 1-2 hours on my CB650R. I'm sure taking a passenger on that bike would be perfectly fine.

Many thanks for sharing. a) though maybe not as durable, ziploc bags are waterproof as well as being cheaper & lighter than alpaca pouches. In addition, being transparent makes it easy to view contents without opening b) bear in mind alcohol based sprays won’t kill viruses which have a protective capsid eg norovirus. Soap & water is the way to go. c) check out Clearwipe lens cleaners - moist cloths in individual sachets - these are life changing. You’ll never use a microfibre cloth again

I have a 15 street glide special. I installed the 10 inch windshield on mine and it made a world of difference.

I wouldn't have traded that Road Glide for two of those Road Kings.

We just rode it for the first time about a month ago, it was great. Now it's all burned down. I heard the city was trying to block off parts of the trail because of potential "fire hazard" from offroad vehicles, and their own heavy equipment started the fire!

These thieves took my Grom. Yesterday 9/24/24. From a mall parking structure. Mall security and local police said they saw the footage of the theft. Told me they would look into more footage to see if they can ID the plate. Im hopeful… but I’m really beat up about it. I feel depressed…

Hate the look of the Boneville and w800, that style is way worse than the iconic Indian style. The Springfield is not garbage and the hayabusa is also iconic.

The W800 has only 8 more HP than my Triumph Speed 400, yet weighs 100lb more. It may be beautiful to look at, but it's also uncompetitve in the marketplace. A Royal Enfield 650 which can be had for a whole lot less money can keep right up with it.

Please cut your video up a bit more, it's so annoying to hear a bit of natural silence between words. Also zoom in and out more, I've heard that that's the thing now.

The biggest problem eith the w800 is the engine. Makes ninja 400 power with an 800cc engine. They just needed the 800 to make 800cc numbers

Sportster looks good. It's trying to appeal to younger people, every HD shouldn't be an old mans bike. But it still has the 'cruiser' lineage whilst going for a more naked gt vibe ala Triumph Rocket.
