Some languages don't have a different word for knitting and crochet. Aside from japanese, I know korean is the same and spanish too. In spanish we just say "tejer" which can be translated to "weave" or "knit" and to differentiate them we just say "with needles" or "with hook". Thanks for sharing your haul! they are beautiful yarns. Maybe one day I can get some noro yarn but it's rather expensive 😅

Very informative video, but the background music loop is very distracting. Please consider omitting that in the future.

Could not see the tulip shape at all. For closeups you need to coverup your eyes. Put your hard behind the product.

I love the Mona yarns too. They work up very soft. I got some of the Yuzawaya bulk Noro yarns as well. I found that they feel better once they have been worked, but my favorite of theirs is “Aya Tsumugi.” It’s thick and, while the main color palette is neutral, it has a lot of other colors inside it as well. I like that it is visually interesting and a little unpredictable.

Good morning Diana, What a beautiful bunch of yarns! I've never used either of those brands - I do have some YarnArt cotton or cotton/acrylic cakes, but haven't used them yet. Flowers and Flowers Moonlight are the styles. Polyamide is actually the generic term for nylon, I've heard. Nylon, I guess, is a brand name (kind of like saying Xeroxing vs. copying or photocopying...). From what I've seen on RUclips, people in different parts of the world consider crochet to just be a type of knitting rather than a completely different craft. I was just wondering about the timing on that mailing -- I'll let Julie know it's going out this week so we can start looking for it in the next week or two. I can't wait to see what we got! Hi Diana….so glad to hear the positive news on your scan. My 40 yr old niece had very aggressive breast cancer in 2023 & had to have a double mastectomy. I just pray that both of you continue to have clear scans. I don’t know how to knit just crochet & I agree with you on the bamboo because I have tried bamboo crochet hooks & I didn’t like them. I like the Prym hooks but they work better with certain yarns, I guess their hooks are actually made for wool. I bought both sets of Prym & I am very surprised that they don’t have a 5.5mm I hook it’s strange because that is my favorite size hook. I just bought my favorite yarn on sale @Premier the Spun Colors love that yarn & I got it on sale for $6.99 so I spent $75 so I could get free shipping, I hate paying shipping I would rather spend more and money that would go for shipping is actually spent on the products itself. I love the Premier Basix too.
