Yeah thee is definitely an issues with dealerships and stark. It's odd, and now the prices for the Alpha are a good amount cheaper

@ the bikes are cheaper due to lithium prices near halving in the last 12 months. Ktm played dirty tricks to have stark banned from races and I’m thinking now that big brands are probably willing to threaten dealers too

@@redwolfracing Anton Wass was just on pulp mx video and confirmed what I just said about dealers … stark have had trouble with ktm threatening dealers to not have any association with stark , this is exactly what I said with the same brand involved being Ktm. Ktm had them banned from super enduro last year too .

Jeeze, yeah that's pretty simar to mine. I'm hoping the bone is still alive but it's been since the beginning of September.. I had plans to get back on the bike around April/May but it's looking like it may be a little longer than that unfortunately. Yeah I hear that, I still think I'm young and dumb, and want to jump back to it asap, but I'll know enough to let it heal before I make things worse.

How was the surgery for that with the donor piece of bone?

@@redwolfracing The Surgery wasn't bad, I have graft and permanent Titanium. If it gives you any confidence the doctors were adamant that the bone would not heal, which they were correct about for a period of time. However, after long enough there was an experimental treatment offered to me because of the lack of improvement in a last ditch effort, which did in fact work. It was a non-invasive device that sent some kind of frequency to the bone to induce healing, I still have the device in storage somewhere and if you're healing isn't going well (which I don't think will be the case for you, you are WAY earlier along by the time you've caught it so in theory your chances of healing are in fact higher than mine were, the only thing I had going for me was that I was younger at the time of the injury.) then respond to this comment with such news, or if you're interested I can look tonight and come back with the info on what the device is so that you can do your own research and potentially use it during your healing process.

@@redwolfracing On top of all that I was also able to join the Army with no waiver because a doctor later down the road felt so confident in my healed bone that he wrote it off, I was also allowed into airborne school (which has a strict "No metal in bones" policy) and complete it as well as all of my other training with no complications.

@@redwolfracing I have never regained full range of motion and never will but it does not cause me pain or effect my physical performance in any way, I am back to lifting (including bench) and racing with no effect on my output. You're gonna be just fine.

Yeah, unfortunately where I live there is like no where to ride in the woods without getting in trouble. But yeah once I'm 30 I'll be in the vet class if I continue to race the series.

Lol it's not cheap buddy. And luckily they have a 2 year warranty so everything was fixed on them. No other bike has a warranty that will do that.

I believe your right, they told me the tube basically helps cycle the coolant, so you don't have to drain the system anymore if you get the code. At least that's what they told me

@redwolfracing I rode the Varg today at my usual track,hot day, its all good, the issue is gone. I filled the coolant up to just the base of the new filler plug extension

A lot of people seem to like the TP199 pads, my calfs are too big for them lol I like the Leatt pads but even with them on I ended up tearing my ACL 🙄 but yes the first couple years I feel is the most injury prone, taking some classes can help get your technique down, for example Aj Catanzaro's moto academy classes

What do you think about rk-1? Pros, cons, are they worth it...

@@milevafajt9692 I personally like them they arn't as stiff as the higher end braces so it does give you more bike feel but they feel stiff enough to give real good protection so yeah they are knee braces but feel bit more mobile. downside is the adjustability the velcro is very small and takes some time setting up to your personal liking and it only comes in two sizes BUT it does come with these angle pieces to prevent hyper extention in increments of 5% sorry for my bad English haha i havnt crashed in them so i cant say if thats good or bad for protection but i like how they feel on and off the bike. *Ps with less stiff i dont mean they feel cheap they are build very nicely obviously because they are cheaper it uses cheaper materials it doesnt flex at the hinge or anything it just feels like i got a bit more mobility sorry if i sound confusing hard to explain haha*

Yea, so obviously like I said in the video, stark figured out the diagnosis of my bike within a few days and the dealership didn't order the parts, that's why my bike was just sitting there. They used other bikes in the dealership to diagnose the issue, and then didn't order parts, so my bike was left sitting, I'm not driving an hour+ to pick my bike up when they're supposed to be "working" on my bike. I didn't know they didn't order parts untill I called and kept bugging them. If you watch the whole video it explains my situation, the dealership fucked me over for weeks, when I thought they were fixing my bike. The bikes are actually pretty simple to work on, and I made the mistake of bringing it to the dealership

@ I watched the whole video, and I’m with you 100% but I’m talking base on personal experience with multiple dealers not only here in USA but also overseas, I’ve been in the motorcycle game for over 30 years and I’ve seen a lot of these shady dealers screwing good people left and right. So I learned the hard way, nowadays I fix all my bikes myself, cause unfortunately there are very few honest dealership around. Good luck with the Bike, it is a nice one!👍

@ I’m getting one of the new Starg dual sport so I can make a supermoto with it, I have a CRF450 RL Supermoto right now and I love it, it’s complicated here in Florida to make a dirt bike street legal, so I rather get a factory street legal one to turn it into a Supermoto 👍

You don't have to be looking at the phone al lot does when your riding is tell you the mph, battery level and what mode, they are really fun and fast bikes though, hopefully they worked out the bugs in them!

Yeah I noticed they prices have went down a lot, I imagine Stark just wanted to make soem profit at first then lower the prices, but yeah same with new england, they were moving pretty fast

To install a different seat cover, or when washing the bike so it doesn't break down as fast, it helps keep it intact
