Geez this game is so much easier with lethal weapons... I remember using sleeping rounds the entire time because I just didn't like the idea of using lethal guns, but of course I used quiet and the others as it would have felt very lonely otherwise. I don't know why you see it as easier with non-lethal - beats me having to run over to each one and vulcan extract them when they were asleep. Plus you used the bandana: I would have to loot for my ammo and that was tedious - sometimes it would result in me running around with cqc because I had nothing.

Heres a good challenge: beating mgsv as a skull, you just use the skull suit, the parasites, and the guns we see the skulls use. (You can use d walker but only the machete)

While the choosen weapons fit perfectly, i think a better fit for playing "naked snake" would be to just use the wu pistol, while every other weapon must be obtained on the battlefield. Once picked up in the World it can of course be equipped before Missions

I really dont get the differences from all the Snakes like Naked Snake or Solid Snake im really confused

i know the next run could be a long ways out, but ive got a couple of tips for ye anyways (diehard player here) 1. for armor dudes, if you get spotted by them, you can throw an empty mag at their face and it will make a ding sound and stun them, no matter what armor they are wearing (it only works during reflex mode) and you can also use decoys, throw them at their feet and activate them to also stun them, these are some ways to deal with them without anti armor weapons 2. against snipers, mainly sniper skulls, if you can get the timing just right, you can dive just as they shoot to hopefully dodge their bullets (doesnt work 100% of the time) 3. in occupation forces, there is an apc at the guard post down the road (#10 on the map), you can take it and use it to block the road which gives you some time to fulton the tanks/truck, or just use its weapons to destroy them lethally 4. in pitch dark, if you bring a grenade, you can deactivate the transfer pump, walk outside the door and stand on just the right spot at the small stairs, you can throw a grenade through a gap at the top of the fence to destroy the oil tank easily from a distance- and its also possible to set up a tank at just the right spot that you can fire at the oil tank with its cannon to destroy it that way if explosives arent allowed but vehicles are 5. in on the trail, its possible to skip following the subordinate and just go straight to the major and dome him 6. in voices, you can beat the mission faster by first stunning the man on fire BEFORE going toward the tunnel, although you may have to properly eliminate him by knocking him into the pool for it to work though- youll know you did it right if the rocks dont collapse and you can walk straight through the tunnel and skip the chopper ride 7. in white mamba, if you can get close enough to eli without alerting him, sometimes he will walk around on the deck of the ship- if you wait for him to get at the right spot, you can drop ontop of him for an instant knockout even if you dont have a suppressed tranq weapon 8. in sahelanthropus, due to how his damage system works, outside the cgm 25, rapid fire bullet weapons like lmgs (or d-walkers minigun) tend to do the most damage- if you get an lmg and keep shooting his weak point (it makes a different sound and is usually his chest area) you can whittle his health down very fast, and if you call manual supply drops time to time you can easily keep your ammo always full to kill him fast and easy 9. in proxy war without end, if you can remember the spot where the gunship will come close to the ground, you can plant c4 there in advance and detonate it to EASILY kill the gunship, and it should also be noted the c4 strategy can work against the vehicles as they will get to the center camp and stop, making it easy to sneak up on them and either fulton or c4 10. in quiet exit, from my experience doing a STUPID challenge idea, the safest place to hide is the very back of the building, ground floor, and near the center where the walls are thickest- this tends to be enough cover that the tank shell explosions cant kill you THROUGH the walls with their insane splash radius, and if you go from the very back left side, shoot, and then the very back right side in a pattern, you can usually fire off shots safely. when it comes to the gunship, i like to go to the very very back up the cliff and perch on one of the rocks, it gives you a good height advantage but you can quickly fall back to behind the building again if you need to retreat to heal. lastly, my own challenge idea- can you beat mgsv as lore accurate venom snake? - you will be stuck with the initial equipment from phantom limbs, grade 1 mrs, grade 1 wu s, grade 1 grenades, the magazine, grade 1 nvg and grade 1 phantom cigar, with the standard balloon fulton and tiger stripe camo with the scarf, however you are allowed to pick up and use enemy weapons, enemy vehicles or weapon emplacements (i will also allow the cardboard box even though it isnt unlocked until mission 2) - you will need to immerse yourself in the shoes of venom and think like him, whenever you approach a situation think "would venom do that?" bonus for getting the missions optional objectives or doing things that make miller say "now thats some lateral thinking" - you can use vehicles and buddies, but only in their standard form (initial equipment) - for an extra challenge, you can disable the hud for more immersion

I think the unarmored defense is a bit too low, given that the max AC it provides is merely 15. You should add Dex or Wis modifier to it as well, like a Barbarian or a Monk. And also the document in the Drive is gargled with a lot of odd text. Other than that, I really like this class. It seems promising, and if the unarmored defense gets a boost, I would gladly give this a shot, as im making a character that uses Judo.

10:01 One time while I was trying to save the prisoners inside the Palace the tank aggroed a decoy I place down and fired at the Jeep killing all 3 of the passengers including Malak. I hope the tank operators were punished for that.

I'd love to see a playthrough as The End- Tranquiliser snipers only, Quiet as an optional buddy cause she could act as his pet parrot to scout areas, prone only once you hit enemy outposts due to his ability to stay in one prone position without moving for days, have to wear the suitable camoflauge for the terrain/time of day (blue urban for night, desert fox for sand etc), pentazimin and acceleramin acceptable to further represent his sniper skills and finally stealth camo due to his ability to blend in anywhere no matter the time of day. Feel free to edit any of these rules if you do decide to run it, and i hope you'll consider this run!

Can you beat MGSV as Venom Snake? (Aka, The Canon way) Fatigue: Olive Drab Weapons: AR: Grade 1 AM MRS4 SR: Any of your choice RPG: Grom 11 (A Quiet Exit) and Killer Bee (Mission 6 and above.) Pistol: Level 1 or 2 AM-D114 from Mission 1-31. And a level 4 one from 32-45. (Explanation Later) Other Equipment: C4 (Mission 13 seems to mention it) Any Type of Grenade (It isn't really confirmed anywhere, but it just feels like Venom would keep it just in case) Mines (Mission 45 seems to mention it) Phantom Cigar Flare Grenades/Supply: (This is much more of like logic rather than it being confirmed. I don't think venom snake would always just go to his I-droid to call Pequod. i think he'd use flare grenades as not only is it quicker, but it also removes one of the risks of using the I-Droid, which is the fact that you cannot move and stuff still goes on in the background) Edit: You can also use any type of cardboard box Other/Optional Stuff: You can use any buddy, but it'd make the most sense if you used Quiet from Mission 14 and above. If you are to use quiet, you can only use Wicked Butterfly (With or without suppressor) If you get caught or the plan you used to do a mission doesn't work properly, you cannot restart. Venom didn't have that option did he? You can only restart whenever you die. Replay Shining Lights, Even in death. (Venom Snake automatically gets equipped with Olive Drab in that mission. Explanation for some stuff Now the reason why I said to use the level 4 AM-D114 from mission 32-45 is because, for some reason, in shining lights, even in death. He automatically gets equipped with a level 4 variant, despite the cutscenes in the previous missions show him using a level 1-2. But this only really counts if you decide to replay Mission 43. For using the Killer Bee, it is mentioned in a tape that the R&D team broke apart the Honey Bee to try replicating its homing technology. Which makes me feel like the Killer Bee being made and being used is somewhat canon

After watching Mitten Squad for YEARS, this dudes challenge isn’t even a challenge. Paul would have made this challenge a special Hell for himself and still would have completed it.

The fact you gotta limit yourself when playing as solid snake or big boss shows that venom snake is just superior. But these are fun challenges though I love limiting myself in mgsv to make it harder and do all these challenges. Thanks for the idea!

The easiest way is to use sleeping gas for the girl ones
