Twin stock turbos on a built motor there definitely was no lag.

Yes this car is still on the road. I'm just not running twin turbos anymore. It has a Borg Warner S257sxe installed.

Don't really see an issue as I am making 500 on the t350 out of the 1g neon, 2g neon, and pt Cruiser.

@@1997ne0n Yea I dont know if you ever followed the Boosted boys one of their friends has a srt4 called "The Curse" he broke so many trans at drag strip...over 500hp alot of people break their trans.. but im not sure the difference between yours and his

@@romuluscreative yes I do follow them and I meet up with Jamie every year at Ice Cream Cruise. I have taken pictures of my car and the curse together. My car and his car are running completely different transmissions. As the srt-4 has the t850

I like the lift, i thought that it was relatively easy to install yeah there were some more difficult things through the process but over all install was good. It made the truck ride alot smoother and my wife agrees. Still pulls a trailer extremely well even after I put 37s on the truck. Only thing I to do yet is get cradle spacers for my rear air bags.

They are a fun car someday I will get around to finishing my other swap

Yes, I was at ICC 2017, 2018, and 2019. Didn't make it this year due to military training. But hope to make it back next year.

@@1997ne0n I don't know if they will be doing it again this year but the coonrapids cruise nights were huge and had everything from collector cars to death traps .

Thanks. This car has actually gone under alot of changes since this video was made. The Turbo Stratus is still around kinda been my daily driver here and there, it sat for probably close to 3-4 years because I blew the head gasket in it.

Yes I have gone to ICC 2017, 2018, and 2019. I much appreciate the comment and that would be awesome. Depending on all this madness I was originally not going to make it due to military training out in CA but with Covid who knows what's going to happen with anything that has been planned.

Cost is all going to depend on what you want out of it and on the platform that you are utilizing DOHC/SOHC/MTX/ATX. What kind of goals you are looking to achieve with your build? There is plenty of information on neons.org as well.

Cheyenne Connell Thanks for the swift reply! The load out it’s packing from the factory are a 2.0L DOHC, mated to the terrible 31TH ATX transaxle. I’m planning on finding a manual Neon so I can do a aftermarket swap, and from what I’ve heard from the Neon forums, it’s not going to be that difficult. The only thing that isn’t stock on the econo-box is the air box, which had a crack running down it at one point. Now, honestly, since it’s cranking only around 150HP @6500RPM, I’d like to see that number cross over the 200 scale, if possible. If I went any further, I might wake up my entire hometown of Salisbury, lmao.

@@Probookuser03 no problem on the reply. An ATX can be good if you build them right but they lack the fun of the third pedal. Only know that from when I ran a built 3 speed auto for a bit. The atx to mtx swap is relatively straight forward I had just swapped another car from 2.0 DOHC ATX to a 2.4 MTX last winter. Depending on your mechanical ability you could do a Stratus block with SRT internals, SRT head, SRT intake, and SRT turbo kit relatively cheap. The tune it on an FIC.

No I have never had this car up at BIR just never have time to make it up there. I'll be loading the car up and heading out to Michigan next week for N2K19 and hopefully get some 1/4 track times next Friday with it.

No I am still running the T350 that comes in the 1g, standard 2g, and PT cruiser.
