How to Save $700 on a Ballast Bypass LED Conversion

I convert several HID fixtures at my church over to line voltage LED Lamps. It's called a ballast bypass LED conversion. Most electricians know about this but a lot of them would rather just put in a new fixture. This simple conversion will save over $700 a year on electric costs to run the lights and it is far cheaper than replacing the entire fixture. Here's the report: drive.google.com/file/...
Lexus ES300h Sunroof Seal Replacement
Просмотров 13 тыс.Год назад
I discover a leak in the sunroof on my Lexus ES300h. I wanted to repair the seal on the sunroof to stop the knocking, but found out that it also stopped the water leaking into the car and stopped the wind noise that I was hearing. It's a super easy fix that every Lexus and Toyota own with a a sunroof needs to do if their car is over 8 years old.

Which ive recently been hearing on incline turns like pulling into a driveway or gas station. Figured ahh shes getting old body and sunroof making noises.. but didnt think that the rubber could be the culprit... sunroof might even need adjusting. Thanks man needed this video.

I setup an appointment with Lexus of Rockville for the leak issue in my 2014 ES. Not knowing they use a 3rd party for scheduling, I drove there and the service advisor had no clue what I was there for and he told me $3,000 to replace the entire sunroof. I had this same issue with my 2014 GS 450h. I could swear the rear parcel shelf was loose but kept thinking, how in the world would that even happen as it is a permanent structural piece? I lived with it for too long as my car has never once been to the dealer or shop in over 10 years of ownership and didn't want the bad juju, LOL! So, I put up with it until last year when I stumbled upon a Lexus forum that described the problem and the easy fix. A quick RUclips search yielded a DIY tutorial, and within 30 minutes of securing the gasket, the rattle was history! Your video is excellent as well and I particularly liked your "behind the scenes" shot of the dripping water going through the car wash. I am going to need to take a look and see how mine looks - I have never thought to do this before. Bravo Zulu!

So the amount of water that was coming through before the seal replacement… is that normal? I have a 2010 IS250 and the seal is definitely worn but it doesn’t leak or get water where it shouldn’t but there’s a lot of water that comes through the gap when in a car wash just like this video. I’ll be replacing my seal cause mine too also rattles but I wanted to see if the water seepage is normal or not
