Thanks for this tip! I stripped out the bolt on our 2005 Ford Explorer Sport Trac and next oil change have to use tour tip. Guess all the drain plugs on Fords are about the same size threads
Just got my F350 serviced, and the dealer charged me $6 for an oil plug. Asked why, they said it was stripped. I've NEVER had a stripped drain plug and I've done all my oil changes except on this 2022 truck. Dealer said it may have been done by another Ford dealer, which I did have it done in Georgia .

Try a new plug with teflon tape like James suggested.

I use Teflon
