You're right, you aren't reading too far into it. Life as a kid was painful, and the one thing that cheered me up when nothing and nobody else could, was him. His videos made me happier than anything at the time. And now I'm barely an adult, going into college next year and want to pursue visual storytelling because I want to create something that could make some little kid out there as happy as he made me. I know, it's cheesy, but he started ALL OF IT. The passion for making some sort of twist or hidden meaning, the love for creating in general! HECK, even my vocab is influenced by him, cause instead of saying 'thats cool' or 'great' I almost never cease to call something lovely I dunno, maybe this is all unrelated but it helps to get it out

I was enthralled with Minecraft in the 2010’s, spending weekends and running from my fighting family to watching iballisticsquid and dantdm. I miss the days where I could just escape into such a calm little game and listen to voices that sounded so genuinely happy to be making videos

Why am i crying

I remember watching his video when i was 11 (this was the time also FNAF was getting popular as well) and i would remember being at different places but always watching Stampy now as a person with bad ADHD and autism and social anxiety / no friends or family support, stampy always felt like that one friend or brother that i always wish i wanted now it's been while since i watched him but when i was wondering what ever happened to him then i found out he's retired from RUclips and i was like just sad and crying from it because he felt my nostalgia core to the highest...love you stampy always cheer me up in my worst timing

the reason why he was so nostalgic for a generation is because we was creative and had impact on us. also i think a space rocket is cool sooooo. you know its fun

hey i just want to say, in the description it says 16-23, but i’m 14 and still feel nostalgic from 2016… this doesn’t impact anything but just saying (not complaining sorry lol)

I’m 24 and most of my mates are into generic, boring stuff; stuff that are trending or at least trendy things around my age… but I’m still watching minecraft contents, contents that describes me as a teenager😭not just nostalgia but these content are actually fun and interesting to watch and never gets old. Happy not to get influenced by my age or others around me💯

I've never watch stampy before but my friend instaled his replicated world, and he say "i build this world myself" (which is a lie) when i join his world. I didn't know or watch stampy at the time so i just trust him. And just now i found out that he lie.

I miss his videos… he was one of the biggest idols of minecraft for young kids and all the characters/ people by his side, in those videos, were great in their own way and were so silly to watch❤️ i love this video of have made and i do miss stampy, seems childish but really its not, he was the best for his lets play videos😋❤️

This man had the largest influence on my childhood, and when I found out that he quit, part of me was genuinely sad. I will never forget that man, and how he brought me into the world of Minecraft. I hope no matter what he's doing now, he's having the most fun possible, and still has that classic Stampy charm.

As a now 18 year old guy it’s still so insane to realize that the way I learned English was through stampy’s videos. Somehow by watching his videos and playing Minecraft in my own language it connected in my brain. I can never forget that and I’m thankful he was a part of my childhood

You've shared an amazing message with this video. I just want to point out that along with being there for others, you have to take care of yourself. Otherwise, you'll be killing killing yourself from pressure. To be dependible and what others need you need to depend on others to support you just like you support others. One of the biggest lies in modern history is that you need to be alone in your struggles, don't believe that, get help when you need it, because you can't do it all alone and thats not shameful.

..i agree with you tbh, with the message stanley was trying to send, and your definition of a man. Being a man isn’t being so big and bad everyone fears you, or being sexist towards women or being hardened to the point where you don’t care about anyone else, it’s being kind and compassionate to others, to actually want to make others feel good. that is what it takes to be a man, and just in total, a good person.

I've always respected that stampy saw his audience were largely children and decided to take responsibility and make a pretty damn good legitimate kids show through the minecraft medium. Something I remember stampy said was that his character would never be bitter about losing. He could be upset about it but always in an "oh well we'll get em back next time way". He put way more thought into the small instances of plot then he needed to and if you were paying attention you'd be legitimately rewarded. Theres real substance to those videos and I've always seen that as the difference between Stampy and other minecraft 'kids' channels.

Im 18 today, i have no job, no friends, and no girlfriend. I have autism and ADHD, which may cause me trouble to get an job. Even when i was a 10 years old, ive never have friends, all i had were my siblings, yet, stampy was there, he always was there. For me. For us. I would watch his Lovly world videos everyday, i felt a sense of belonging every time i watched those videos. Ive always wanted to be a artist, a drawer and an animator. I hope to get started in that, as i got so many stories i want to tell. But ill take my time.
