My head is spinning! I had to google what a Trad wife is 😂! I like to earn my own money and not rely on my husband. But I do not want to disrespect my husband because I earned my own money. We can meet halfway. I do not want to frolic in my yard in floral dresses and hats haha. I still believe that God should not be replaced with ideology.

I used to go out of my way to do nice things for women. Not anymore. Experiences like being being berated by women for doing polite and considerate things like holding doors open for them or letting them go ahead of me in line at the local grocery store is simply not worth it. I don’t believe all women are so hostile as those who mistreated me but one can not always tell merely based on outward appearances who the nice ones are, and it’s become increasingly clear to me that at least in the big city where I live, the nice ones are very few in number. Like many before me have said, “chivalry is dead, and women killed it.” I know I’m far from being the only one who feels this way and I hope the Brit Girls are willing to admit it’s feminism that has brought about this unfortunate state of affairs.

They often say, it’s best not to discuss political topics unless you’re looking to start a potentially hostile situation. That said, it does take some courage to put your personal views on the line and I applaud you for that, but please keep in mind that when you do so, there’s a considerable potential that you will alienate and risk losing a good sized portion of your audience who probably joined your channel to enjoy the less controversial topics you’re better known for.

Oh dear oh dear, how the world spins on it's axel. I can't say this topic is as important is the media makes out. Why do we always want to approve or disapprove of a lifestyle when it differs from our own? I feel the term alone is derogatory. Any label is hard to define. I'm wondering how high the blood pressure of that young woman is while she rants and raves and stumbles over her words trying to convey her thoughts to anyone willing to listen. Having digested your video, I think that women, if they so wish, can choose to follow a traditional role, or branch out into a career with the support needed if they have children. If women are able to be multifaceted, it‘s a good thing: above all, they should see themselves as equal to men in every way. It‘s just a matter of choice. I totally agree, it’s the easily influenced and impressionable that are most at risk of losing themselves. They look gorgeous but gawd that would be a full time job in itself all the preening and grooming. I agree, if it ain’t affecting your life then why interfere in how they live theirs. People can easily be so diverse in their choices today. I think women have always been pitted against each other. I grew up in an era that you never lit another woman’s candle as it would dim your own.. As you may well see I’ve always rebelled against my eras traditions lol I stayed home and raised 5 kids and I worked too whether online or at night or weekends and at times I found both stressful, dependant on the day and it’s happenings. Very interesting topic about What type of girls British guys find the MOST ATTRACTIVE...In my opinion, a good woman's traits include empathy, kindness, determination, ambition, and loyalty. A good woman is also someone who is compassionate, and resilient and treats others with respect. Beautiful from the inside.

Before I go to bed, I just wanted to personally thank you Brit Girls because your videos have inspired me to help my friend start making her own videos. Speaking of which, at one point when discussing this topic, you criticize trad wives for earning an income from the monetization of their videos, suggesting they are hypocrites for earning money for their efforts LOL but there is nothing about being a trad wife that entails that they can never under any circumstances earn any money, that just simply isn’t the case. Anyway since, as I just mentioned, I have decided to try my hand at making videos with my friend, I was hoping you could give me an idea of how much I can expect to earn from this endeavor. How much do you ladies make from your video earnings if you don’t mind me asking? I just would like to know what I can expect.

I noticed Lucy normally dresses more like a trad girl in most videos. In this video however she dresses a little more like a business woman. Was that a conscious decision to appear more in line with the domineering feminist lifestyle that you champion in this video? I’m not hating though, she still looks very pretty in that outfit, it’s just a different look for her than I’m used to seeing.

I used to be a feminist too just like you in my school days. But since I realized the harm feminism does to relationships and society at large, I calmed down and realized that blaming men for my troubles was only holding me back from enjoying life and the benefits of traditional family life.

Personally though, I subscribed to your channel for your cultural differences between UK and USA content. Just wondering what this topic has to do with UK vs USA cultural disparities. Is your channel shifting direction or am I just missing something here? Anyway I hope you both had a great weekend!

My thought is that people should let others do what they want and what they think is best for them. But of course people fight about all these things and fail to discuss real issues that ultimately affect us all. For the part about men questioning what relationships are nowadays, I feel like it changes with each person and hopefully everyone finds someone that’s right for them.

The world changes, and you put together and interesting video showing contrasting attitudes. As with most things, there is usually a compromise waiting to be found, and if that can resolve the situation all will be well. It's the extremes in life which cause conflicts.

I am a male. I find your video very unplesant and confrontive. You deal with EXTREMES. Contemporary women are much more flexible than you give them credit for. Please stop putting women into BOXES.

Back in the 1990s, a lot of talk show hosts used to call the third wave feminists ‘feminist Nazis’. I thought that was an appropriate term because a lot of these women that I read about and saw videos about were very toxic towards decent men. They virtually lumped all men as toxic, male-chauvinist, prejudice towards women, and narrow-minded men as part of the evil and toxic patriarchy. Do not shoot the messenger but that is what I read and saw starting in the 1990s all the way up to the present. I only met one young women who came close to that way of life in the 2000s. Now the facts! 1. Again, again, and again that I have to say this as a heterosexual man with 50 hard years of life experiences, since entering high school. ALL women have to work from their early twenties to the mid to late sixties due to economic necessity. That is 40 to 45 years. The old days of the 1950s to the 1990s are gone and they are not coming back. The housewife and breadwinner are dead and they are not coming back. 2. It now takes two incomes to have a family of three (mother, father, and child) to live in a clean and safe neighborhood with a good school system (primary and secondary - elementary school to high school). 3. Working women have to incorporate some masculine traits in their jobs to survive and thrive. However, this does not mean women give up their traditional feminine traits (that attract men). It just means they have to keep a balance between work and home life. 4. A lot of professional and working women do incorporate traditional housewife traits when at home, but their husbands do help out with house choirs on a daily basis. 5. I have been around a lot of women since the late 1960s and I have never seen a so-called 1950s traditional housewife. My mother worked, my sister worked, my next door neigborhoor housewives worked, all the women at my job for the past 42 years worked and are still working. Julie is working and so is Lucy. 6. What is happening today is the dynamics of the nuclear family is changing to meet the demands of the changing world but still retain a lot of the traditional housewife traits in the modern working women. My wife has an MBA and has been working professionally for 43 years. She is a boss babe at her job because it is a necessity but she turns it off when she gets home. A lot of professional/working women around the country are living this way and are happily married with one or two children. If there are some 1950s traditional housewives out there then it is a very small percentage of the total married female population. So I do not know where these third wave feminists coming from. Today, a lot of American women have basic freedoms, financial, educational, and employment opportunities than the 1950. So again, I do not know where these third wave feminists coming from.

I think after watching this I’d be better keeping my opinions to myself 🤐 So many buzz words today makes me think people like to complicate life 🤷🏻‍♂️

The notion that in this day in age, in Western society, that women are still to this day the victims of senseless oppression by the spiteful chimera of "muh patriarchy" is honestly a joke. This is the one thing that all feminists (no matter what flavor of feminism you choose) agree upon (that women are eternal victims of male oppression). I gathered main information about topics you mentioned briefly here it’s first of all I looked up for meaning of tradwives means traditional wives or traditional housewives . In recent western culture typically denotes woman who is believed in practices traditional roles and marriage. It’s also doesn’t refer to ordinary wife stay at home , tradwife is perfect, her home is spotless, her makeup is no point , she makes everything from scarth , usually in prefect dress . Feminist is someone who supports equal rights of women. Trigging means causing strong emotional reaction of fear or worry because someone is made to remember something bad has happened in past . I read biograph written by Angela birch she mentioned same subject why tradwives trigging feminist. Men and women are equal in rights and responsibilities, no more or no less . If woman wants to be traditional wive it’s their choice . Others are triggered. Lot of men prefer women full and complete partner. Many don’t want wife who is traditional wife . My husband has made clear . He doesn’t want traditional wife . Thank you for giving us to read learn new information and improve our English as well . Best wishes for you your loved ones.

In this video and during minute 12 of your previous video on this topic, Lucy says that its feminism that allows you to have so many options and so on and so forth. I'm curious why she thinks this as opposed to just acknowledging that we all have free will and thus we possess the agency of making free choices. Is it that you don't believe that free will exists? Have you bought into the Sam Harris school of denying the agency of free will altogether? I know many (if not most) feminists believe this dogma.

Another super interesting one ladies not sure what to think about it all think it’s important to support anyone in what they want to do! The woman being the housewife seems so old fashioned now! So the video ends with the Brit Girls briefly mentioning different branches of feminism and acknowledging the perception that some are seen as more extreme than others which may be the cause of opposition to feminism generally (ya think? 😂). But neither of you mention which of those types of feminism you personally identify with. OK, I respect your right to keep that information secret, but no matter which type you personally align with, whether you like it or not, the mere label of *feminist* carries with it the baggage of all of them, especially when you choose to omit which branch you identify with. So why one would want to apply such a label to themselves knowing full well the baggage it carries is simply beyond me.

It's simple really... most men harken for clarification because women have made it confusing. You fight to be these new, modernized women, but you want men to remain traditional. This does not benefit men because women then become undesirable, for one reason or another, as long term options for men. Men nowadays do way more in the household than men of old days did; men even open up more than those men did and women aren't attracted to it. On the flip side, women fought for freedoms in their lives, but trash women who want to live a traditional lifestyle. I see one issue... women want to have it all but only if all benefits their narrative. Don't believe me? Ask 10 men and 10 women what they look for in the opposite sex; the men's answers are all going to be relatively the same. This is what confuses men about this time that we live in.

The funniest part of the video for me is at 3:55 when a picture of women dressed in business attire is shown as an example of women choosing to dress "how they like to dress" in contrast with the trad wife way of dressing which is clearly more feminine. This is funny to me because the women shown in that photo are all frowning and miserable while the trad women are smiling and happy. 😂

5:32 Lucy mentions that a major concern for her is women being pit against each other. Feminism does this all the time, and not just to those who are openly against feminism but to their feminist comrades as well. In fact here is an example you may already be familiar with. Let's examine the case of J.K.Rowling author of the Harry Potter series of books who has also for years been an outspoken feminist. Recently she has become the target of other feminists for her views regarding.... Well, I've said enough already. Most of you reading this already know what I'm talking about so I'll just end this post by pointing out the fact that cases like this provide conclusive evidence that feminism is not only a toxic and hateful ideology but also one that lacks cohesion and any real semblance of being a coherent and logically sound philosophy considering the fact that those who call themselves feminists find themselves so at odds with each other that they can become bitter enemies amongst themselves.

I remember arguments between my Mum & Dad. He believed that her role was in the home. She wanted to work. Mum won, but on condition that all money earned went directly to paying off the mortgage. It was a bit daft as Mum looked after the finances. But as Mum increased in grades at work, Dad saw the benefits in holidays, etc. That was another era, and this argument was in the 1960s. I'm happy for a woman to be a woman or whatever she wants. To me, there is nothing more beautiful than a feminine woman. I don't judge others. This is my view only. But as long as both parties have full access to the bank account and the role is something you want, then I fully support it. I'm not confused about our relationship. Amanda is in control.
