Well, sadly, I gave up on controlling the new majestic tree star w/ the streamers in the back yard (because of the start-up delay associated with the 5 little switching power supplies used for the streamer LED light strings. But I thought, WAIT! - I have a star-only up in one of my front trees that I can try. It's up even higher than the back star. The windstorm flipped it around backwards, and...

Looks like a pretty serious design flaw/oversight .... Looks like the LED streamer lights need some time to turn on (and I knew that too!). But I didn't consider that. The LED rope lights on the star itself seems to follow the controller nicely, but each string of white LED has a 29-Volt power supply module which apparently has a startup delay. I put up a big 5-foot LED rope light star 100 feet in a tree, and I want to make it blink Morse code messages to all those who can see it.

Tons of work left to do yet to get ready for seeding, but I'm well on my way.

There was about a 7-inch mound between the front sidewalk, and the start of the existing lawn that was put in on Sept 11th. I checked with the laser level, and I'm within 2 inches from the sidewalk, and the tower base and start of the existing lawn. Tomorrow I will put the landscape rake on the tractor to get the rocks out, and so I should be able to smooth it all out even more.
