I think you guys have pretty much nailed it. My list would have Dylan (x2), Led Zep (Rain Song), James Taylor, Travis, CCR (Have You Ever Seen The Rain), Clapton, Beatles. My other choices would have been Claudine Longet's version of "I Think It's Going To Rain Today" and Husker Du's "Standing In The Rain." Honorable Mention to Jimi Hendrix - "One Rainy Wish" and Eddie Rabbitt's "I Love A Rainy Night."

A few I can think of to mention here that didn't make the cut. Another Gordon Lightfoot, Early Morning Rain in my opinion the best plane song ever (the Denver one does little justice to its title) if not the best song ever. Also Little Feat's Willin' the greatest truck driving song ever. And then Paul Simon's Train in the Distance even though it's really a song about the breakup of his first marriage.
