The "youthfulness" of this Piano Concerto is superbly demonstrated here by Wang, assisted brilliantly by the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra. Well done everybody.

Well after watching Brahms piano concerto with Daniel Barenboim, just prior to this. I can honestly say this girl is in a different league. It would be interesting to see them swap roles just for a minute and see how they would approach the two works..

I look down on having to read from the score on an encore. Now the woman is bomb and breath takingly beautifully stunning AND with amazing tastes in clothing. I still highly adore and respect her. She was like a stunning Betty Boop in real flesh. Of course she plays well too.

Matsuev has the most fascinating interpretation of this piece.Light, leggiero,but intimate and deep.And the retreats are magic,fully controlled but at the same time,he gave us all.

I understand everyone intoxicated by the soloist... but the Orchestra does an outstanding job here. Perfectly with the soloist, in tune, with excellent ensemble playing and outstanding balance. All the wind soloists are top notch. All together an utterly perfect performance !
