Thanks

    Let's be honest, all you have to do is be at Green Hope. You can basically just ask for money. It could be harder for you because you're 0-10, but for the winning programs, they just ask for money and that's it.

  • @jackofffsss

    Coach, do you penalize athletes who miss offseason workouts because they're participating in other school-sponsored sports?

  • @jackofffsss
    @jackofffsss 17 дней назад

    So when you're down 55-0, is there a real reason you run your quarterback up the middle 4 times in a row? At what point do you stop risking your athletes' health and call a game a total loss?

  • @jackofffsss
    @jackofffsss 17 дней назад

    I was surprised to hear that you closed practices to parents this year, even those with college football experience, and that you give the team significant time off. Could you share your reasoning behind those decisions and how you think they contribute to building a successful program? As an outside observer, it struck me as counterintuitive for a team coming off a winless season.

  • @jackofffsss

    I’m lucky to start my coaching career in a top power house team in Houston,Tx. All the things I see on your checklist is truly what a tier one program runs. The alignment from middle school to high school is very much needed. In our middle school we have 1,300 student in two grades. 130-140 kids olmost 10% of the school are football player. The buy in from the community its noticeable everyone wants to play on Friday nights from little league football up to their senior year. His team got booted down one division and went 4-6 this year. My brother switched from DB to starting RB and was awarded first team all league running back. I feel like his senior year they'll be much better. It's all about going through adversity and getting better. Now, he's focusing on lifting weights. He decided to skip basketball this year.

    Another question for you coach, maybe you can do a video on it. I think a lot of spread guys get caught up with clearing out the box and throwing everything outside where the faster, better coverage guys are. How would you attack and exploit inside linebackers with passes? I absolutely kill them in 7v7 where I can run option routes down the middle on them with rbs. I think we let them off the hook a lot in the passing game though in tackle.

    • @VWLIKEWHOA
      @VWLIKEWHOA 4 месяца назад

      I wouldn't throw over the middle unless you have a really good QB. It tends to be really congested and hard to make tight throws. At youth and even HS level most offensees are 1 read and you want it clean as possible. If you see something and you wanted to sneak one in you could do some sort of stick concept at 7-8yds behind the LB or a seam with the TE vs singe high safety. Hope any of this helps good luck coach
