Whoa! Thanks for posting this. Just got my wife a 2020 Highlander and she wants the running boards removed!!! I told her "No problem..I yank 'em off. Should take just a few minutes." I thought it would be just a few bolts and boom, they'd drop right off. Uhmm, yeah no. Looks like I'll need to spend some money to buy the beauty strip and some other parts before I pull them off. You definitely saved me some time and aggravation.

The only problem with all these hood deflectors and hood attachments is that you will have rust on your hood eventually.

2023 wireless pad is a real POS as well... They've addressed some of the issues but.. it's not backwards compatible. Toyota seems to be becoming just anyway Western car company focus this qrts profits rather than the product& customer

I have an OEM one for my 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe that I got from Canada, as well, But I got them to reduce the shipping cost to $20, instead of the initial $60 they were going to charge for it.... But it has the exact same kinds of parts, but with four more of those pedestals that needs to be put on... was trying to figure it out since the instructions were a bit confusing. Then I came across your video. This helped tremendously. Thanks!

Very well done video!!! I have a 2023 HIHy Platinum, and it's already got 26k on it. I DIY the in-between oil changes (5k, 15k, 25k etc) and let the dealer do the every 10k ones, which are warranty required. But I do NOT have a very high trust level in my dealer! They keep putting in 0w-20 oil in mine. I complained last time. We'll see if they actually put in the right oil (0w-16) the next time. I notice about 2-3 more MPG with the 16 vs the 20. Of course, they could put anything that's "brown and slippery" in my engine, and it would be hard for me to prove what's in there.

Thanks for the video, you made it super super straightforward. The extra step that I did was disabled the auto tailgate function from the dashboard beforehand. Shut the tailgate manually after installation then turn back on the auto tailgate. Works great, and no resetting needed.

The front one looks great, and it doesn’t look as if it would affect gas mileage or wind noise. It also doesn't interfere with the sensors, which is what I wanted to see. Good job! 👍

I bought all the tools you recommended except the wrench. I used the Workpro adjustable one instead. I watched your video for a few times before changing the oil myself for the very first time. Do the redline shocks have less tension than the first set?😊

I bought the same kit, seems the shocks have too much pressure, you can see the hood bending a little at the top connecting points. Would anyone know if there are others replacement shocks with less pressure?

Thank you for posting this. I used/installed it in my 2024 RAV4 Hybrid XSE with a digital rear view mirror. It took me 20 minutes, thanks to you!!! The tip about those red clips helped me too. Those f***ers keep disappearing on me because I didn't pay attention to your instructions. LOL
