As someone who plays 2 different language, I was blessed to have gotten a Shiranui stride deckset, of which to upgrade by adding Shenryi and Forwd Rivertis would basically cost me another deck or two in price. And then I got an English Youthberk deck, which to upgrade would need a significant investment on Biscotti. That's not inclusive of effect triggers, or Elemental Sanctitude.

I ended up running 3 masq searchers and 3 masqs, just because i rather draw into the masq early then having to soul blast early. Also what is your thoughts on running still 1 off the dragon tree g1, just cause its a 5th copy of getting the goumon on board and useally you do have the extra soul to use like twice a game. (if it sticks around). and the masq order can find it of the top 5. Ink im still 50/50 on running 1 copy off (current im not), just cause with the forced soul charge (since you most likely persona ridden) I never really liked. And like you said the 2cb is quite expensive when you wanna most likely gouman every turn on top of the new g2 you want to use. Im still deffintly running 1 copy of Goujou since it does really feel nice. but you deffintintly want most energy going to Araakre. I also still run the bird at 3 to garentee the search and the 10k shield + 5k attack is quite nice. Other then that im still tempted to run that 1 extra copy off base greedon for if you cant get into greedon masq, just in case you have it early so you can have your die on 7 condition. Plus another free top 7 search never hurts. in turn for these i run Mousheen on 2 and Dokusen on 1. Lastely i went with 3 fronts since I feel like you go trough your deck quite fast, draws feels dangerous and i feel like the deck gets enough cards to hand at this point. Curious to hear your thoughs on my choices!

So I just checked on Tcg Player to see how much the cards for a Rezeal Deck would be and it came out to be more than $300. Its crazy how much it costs and it sucks that I'm not able to get the deck I want to play standard format. I'm gonna miss out because Bushiroad won't do what they did with premium decksets and make special decksets that have the Divine Skills. Don't get me started on Quick Start decks because they suck.

The premium decks from this year were such a disappointment for me. They're such good entry products, 11/10 design (ideally we get another entry product that's cheaper, don't love the price gating of the format, but that's neither here nor there). They had such a good entry point into the format and didn't back it up with a premium collection, it would've have been awesome to say, here's a great deck to get into the format, and if you want to upgrade it try this stride or g guard coming out in a few months

I mean... the issue is that Bushiroad looks only for Japan. And for me, the answer i got was G-format. Playing "time wizard" formats made vanguard pretty great, tho.

Just got a chance to watch this! Great video and love the idea if we get new cards that help synergize with the current Standard cards. Would make it easier for current Standard players to try out premium more. Basically become almost like Standard+ decks, like we've seen before. Very nice you used Furiargus as example. When I revealed the card, I also was thinking really hard what current Stoicheia decks could benefit from it. Generating gifts is important and helps most decks. I remember thinking of Zorga, Magnolia, Flagburg decks using a stride like this. And you're right, Flagburg is the best one to take advantage of it due to the similar AqF style. Would love to see any new support and direction for future stuff 🙏

Imo bushiroad approach to the 3 deck set was pretty good(Revenger, Jewel Knight, and Musketeer). Old units gets new errata support and I was hoping they keep doing that for all other clans soon. However, it doesn't seem it's going that way because it's been almost a year and they haven't announced anything yet. Probably because of the sales of those products. I understand they're trying to run a business and trying to make money.

I just wish they made more sub clan crests and errata strides. I think that is a great idea to keep interest. Supporting decks that are behind and renewing them is what i care more about. Not the next toolbox to splash into the same consolidated bdif gran blue and megacolony decks.

I think they should have incorporated energy into the game as a whole and not lock it behind. Ride deck. Should’ve just made it a game mechanic rather than ride deck mechanic. I feel like that would’ve been a great bridge btw premium and strand allowing a better card pool from all the new cards that have come out that all cost energy and such. Plus gives an additional way to pay a cost in premium which we still need.

Personally what needs to be done is Errata out all the V era gift marker icons and replace them with persona ride icon, have legion required to have the same base power as listed on the card between the two units, ban the Grade 1 cards that specifically give a crest when riding on the grade 0, as well as ban the cards/hard errata cards that ride up a turn early

My main want for premium is for Buishi to pull the trigger and put ride decks in the format. I would like it to be an errata for all D series and G series starters to have the ability to let you use it. Also in order to avoid too crazy interactions and new rule that states you must fully ride in the ride deck before you can ride anything else and the ride deck can only contain D and G era cards. This way you are trading in power for consistency.

Great video man!! Been pretty sick of people being toxic with their constant complaints and cynicism. A video like this talking about cool design space is a much more enjoyable watch. I find it weird that people are calling Premium stale. People over in MTG used to LOVE the fact that Modern was a format that you could buy into and your deck would be viable for years to come, with small changes. That’s what Premium is now. Standard MTG sets have cards that are relevant in Modern every so often, so the format changes slowly. Premium is currently the same. I personally am glad there’s a format that isn’t changing literally every month because it means I have more time to explore and enjoy decks and strategies, whereas if I want a super dynamic, changing format, I can play Standard. With that in mind, here is my Premium wishlist card-design wise: 1) A stride for each nation that only works if you have the persona ride icon and that gives you a pay-off for doing the thing that nation does best. We want to be careful with balancing them, but we want it to be good enough to incentivize people to experiment with Standard bosses in Premium. Basically, I agree with what you said. 2) A cray elemental G-unit that, like Harmonics Messiah, has an ability that gives you the energy generator. Plenty of decks don’t care about energy, so it wouldn’t be an ultra-staple like Harmonics Messiah is. What it would do it make it easier for Standard cards to be Premium-relevant. So yeah, my wants design-wise would make it so we don’t NEED dedicated product as often for Premium to be supported. As for product though, I would like a Premium collection that supports all 24 clans every 1-2 years. I think it would be brilliant product design to also release a few decksets together with those premium collections that are good out of the box, but can be upgraded with new support from the set. Once again, drawing inspiration from MTG, their Commander precons that come out with each set are good out of the box and great when upgraded with support from the set they’re released with. Wow that’s a long comment.

It’s just not financially worth it to Bushi from what it looks like since it’s really only the west that plays premium. On top of a stale format for the past two years

I think an easy fix is to give all D series Grade 3 units the ability to generate a marker in premium. I think this would create a huge incentive to try new builds and wouldn't make all D cards nearly irrelevant in premium. Possibly builds that involve things such Marker generation + persona ride for heavier turns. I think it's time we do at least attempt to breakaway from this History Stride builds as they are very good, they are what made the game stale at the moment.

That's a really good deck especially for the price!! And this is why I stick to Vanguard and left Yugioh besides the fact that Yugioh isn't fun anymore and Vanguard is! Love these vids dude!

Awesome build!! Getting back into Vanguard and Fenrir was one of my favorite decks in G. Been trying to find a list with the OG Fenrir. Definitely gonna try something similar out!

Budget decks dont exist in cardfght right now especially for new Play since every deck requires the erergy generator which if you say "just dont use it" can be countered with "then just proxy all the cards, make full power meta decks for 50C"

I played this deck a lot pre-DressUp Lilfa (man, was it a rough time, haha) and shelved it ages ago - glad to finally be able to update it into something decent now, thanks for the profile!

Did you have trouble clearing their board for Oswald with Dustin's g2 or greater limitation along with Meteor Flare needing CB and being placed in the same column as what you wanna retire? Looks like it could be fun though

I’m well aware that collaboration sets are not that well received by a good percentage of western players 😓 however I happen to personally really like them❤ Mygo specificity I’m happy it’s still a decent price to build. It’s actually my second English deck for standard , the rest are in Japanese as they are all collaboration decks🤣 as long as future collaboration sets are as solid as the bang dream set I have no issues with them.

Might try this. I wanna build Premium Overlord but hot damn is it so pricey atm.

Thank you for this deck list! Definitely interested in future deck lists featuring Standard boss units. Whether or not it is tier 1 doesn't matter to me. I just want to find ways to bridge me from Standard to Premium with little resistance and this deck list definitely does the trick while being budget. Looking forward to future lists!

I viewed this as a brand new set with completely new cards. As the changes to cards were so huge they practically are new cards.

Always has been expensive and no matter how many series go by where the game gets practically reset nothing changes. They need to print more product and actualy market the game.
