Killers Of The Flower Moon: True Story
I used to live with and hang with the folks if Heiroglyphhics.
This is when rap had more substance and when everyone didn’t sound the same. I loved this era.
1988 was the best year!
I remember takin all my lunch 💰 2go buy all these on cassette 😮 still looking 4 that Steady B on CD 📀
The year 1987 is when I graduated from high school, I definitely remember those days.
Criminal Minded is a legendary first album!!! The Grand Incredible DJ Scott LaRock… Boogie!!! Down!!! Productions!!!! Rest In Peace…
The 80s rocked but I think 88’ was the pinnacle…. That is just my thought.
I was thinking 86’ and 87’ Beastie Boys - License To ILL Run DMC - Rasing Hell LL Cool J - Radio and Rock the bells
No Doubt that was my Freshman yr of Highschool 💥🔥
Pure good vibes 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
*The* is not in Dana Dane with fame
Yes
CRIMINAL MINDED. PAID IN FULL. DOWN BY LAW. PUBLIC ENEMY # 1
Swizz Beats got his start with 8ball & MJG
I love how Tela’s song ‘Let it Rain’ has the sound of windshield wiper blades in the background ❤
Thought provoking 👍
Schooly D was the first gangsta rapper and his song PSK was the blueprint, NOT STEADY B😂
I know I messed that up 😂
DJ and producers 9th wonder would do early compilations on Instagram and twitch.
93 waz da beat year❤❤🎉🎉
Great video
Totally agreed 1000 percent. ❤
Great job again fam🙌🏿💪🏿✊🏿😎🎤🎧🤘🏿
Good to be back with the best years content appreciate it give you insight who all was out another great year keep it going !!!! 💯
Schoolly D not Steady dropped PSK and was credited with being the 1st gangster rapper. Also, why haven't you done these in chronological order? A lot of back tracking
Thanks for the correction. I didn't do it chronological order because I didn't plan on doing this. I did 88 and 94 originally as I was just planning to do those along with 95 and 96 because those were my favorite years and was just gonna compare those that's why those videos are different from all of the rest. It got popular and I started doing years based off popularity but I hindsight I wish I would have done them in order I learned a lot doing them.
@dredocs That's what's up. Keep doing your thing.
I saw LL's Bigger And Deffer Tour in 87. Stetsasonic, Eric B And Rakim, BDP a week after Scott La Rock was murdered, Public Enemy, Whodini and LL. One of the most eye opening shows I've ever seen regarding Hip Hop
That's a sick lineup
@dredocs crazy, right? The only things I ever saw that topped that was Biggie in 93 with 2Pac on stage supporting him and Pac freestyling acapella later that year with ODB and Rahzel during Puff's Xmas party at The Tunnel. The LL show was at MSG
Gratitude.
Hip Hop Thrived from 1985 - 1998....*it was time especially during the 80's....our dress fads was crazy. In the 80's while we listen to our hip hop...we would rock the high top fade....ripped jeans, 8 Ball leather jackets or if it was cold...we couldn't wait to rock our sheep skin bomber coats. Back then rockin' a sheep skin you had to know how to brawl cuz if you had one & couldn't brawl or you didn't run with a posse...stick up Boyz would take them right off you....."Troop" ..."Lattos", "Adidas Top Tens", "Black Suade Puma's" or if you was the fly type....we also wore "British Walkers" or "Bally's". Then the 90's hit...we traded our high top box fades to twist our hair grow dread locs, the nappy fro, or corn rolled braids....baggy denim polo shirts & butter brown "Timbz" Even the music got more aggressive, fun, real, & with positive messages...Boy I missed them days when the culture wasn't so craze.... 😊❤🎤🎧🙂♥️🎤🎧
I miss them too great analysis.
@@dredocs You already know...!!!! Our time was the best ....
@@Notorious_G.O.D_76 it was I be telling younger dudes about all the stuff they're missing out on.
I attended my first concert in '87. It was the famous Hip-Hop tour with Whodini, Kool Moe Dee, Eric B. & Rakim and Heavy D & the Boys.
🔥🔥
86 was the YEAR 🎉
Your golden era years are the same as mine.
What a era that changed my life 1987. 🎤
They changed the game
