Does Walmart brand sour cream have bad stuff in it?
@@thepickinpreacherswife I was told it does. Just go to the Walmart app and search it up, you should be able to see the ingredients and then compare to the Daisy brand. I hope that helps 🤍
Eating good this holiday season! 😊
@@Walmart Absolutely, don’t know what I’d do without y’all! Definitely my go to place and I’m thankful for that🤍
Lovely grocery haul. And yes its always good to get that cash back. 🙌😉
@@seasonsofwonder Thank you for watching! Yes!! I try my best to take advantage of all the rebates and cash back offers I can get. I don’t buy things I don’t need just to get the cash back ( that’s never made sense to me) but I do search for bargains on things we use. Every little bit counts 🤍
Walmart has gotten so expensive! Happy Holidays Maudie 😊
Yes it has! I think everywhere has gone up significantly. I hope you have a great holiday season as well 🤍

Someone mentioned in the comments if you could remake your sourdough video and I would second that vote. I have a dairy allergy and would love to start up my sourdough again I had on for about 6 months and killed so I could really use some help on sourdough. I like any video's you put out and really appreciate your channel have a very Happy Thanksgiving and take care.
Thank you for being here! I’m so glad you are encouraged my channel. That makes me happy! I pray you have an amazing Thanksgiving as well! I will definitely make a sourdough video soon. 🤍
I have two accounts. One is for my family (since we live far from them) and this one is for videos that do not show me or my family.

I was looking for the sourdough video. Maybe you can remake it ❤

Looks good Maudie
Thank you! 🤍
Hi😊
Hey!!😊 Thanks for watching!
Great grocery haul the pinch at the grocery store is real. I make a monthly dinner plan I try to make fried rice once a week its cheap and very filling with the rice and you can throw any leftover meat or vegtables into it, i also do a sandwich night, soup night, taco night, pasta or pizza night, hot dogs or hamburger night and then i do a big meal like a roast or whole chicken or pork loin. I also look for meals that I can make on the cheap utilizing things i have so this week they have Kielbasa for $2.49 so i buy 2 because i have 5 in my family all adults and highschool kids I will add squash and broccoli that i have in the fridge and add stuffing or box mac n cheese that I have in stock makes it a $5 dinner I try to make a few $5 dinners a month. I also grow a garden and can my own food. Anyways hope you have a great week.
@@angelafleming3328 Thanks for sharing! Those are excellent tips. That’s why I’m doing this so we can all share different ideas and hopefully we can glean off of each other and make the most of our money when we have to go grocery shopping. 🤍
Do you buy meat in bulk?
@@Waysofherhousehold At this time I only buy meat from Aldi or a local butcher. I would love to go in with my daughters and their families and buy a cow and split it. I do find that Aldi has organic meat which seems to be good quality for a very reasonable price. I buy frozen chicken from there and I try to always have extra on hand in case I’m in a pinch.
Great video! You asked about ideas to cut down the grocery budget. Well, I can tell you what we did about 12 years ago when our income was cut in half because I came home to homeschool the boys. We had to cut out sodas, juice, chips, etc. Cookies were homemade. Pizza was homemade. Muffins, bread, all of it was homemade because it was cheaper, though certainly not faster. We would only buy store brand items unless the name brand was on sale for less. We shopped loss leaders from the grocery ads and built our meals around that. It worked and we made it on a shoestring budget. But there were definitely sacrifices made to make it happen. I tried ease the family into having less of their favorites and not tell them when I replaced a brand name with a private label item. Most of the time, they didn’t know the difference. One thing I noticed, when we started using exclusivity homemade bread products, my boys’ ADHD issues improved some. Not 100% but noticeable at least. Keep up the great work!!
Those are great tips! I would cut out the sodas here if it wasn’t for my husband. I make homemade tea for the kids and I. Plus we have water, and recently we didn’t start drinking fruit juice. What I bought yesterday will last all month for us, as far as the fruit juice. My adult daughter makes pizza and bread from scratch. You mentioned homemade is cheaper but not faster, which is true. It’s also definitely a lot more delicious though. Thank you so much for taking the time to share those tips. They’re all really good ideas! 🤍

Ky here! I’m new! I shop wal mart for most of our groceries. The other grocery stores in our area the prices have gone up crazy. One of those stores there is just a few things I get or if something is in the sale paper we want or need. The other lil grocery store close to us is where I get our ground beef. They have the best. The price has gone up on it but I catch it marked down and get it and separate it and freeze. Sams is two hours from us so I have the majority shipped. Plus it keeps me from buying the bakery items lol It’s just hubby and I and I’m still learning to cook for two. We have family get together holiday meals and I over do it but love the leftovers!
It seems like our Walmart and Sam’s are out of a lot of things we normally buy. I’m already planning my big haul for the middle of the month, and the price increase from last month to now is insane! We have a few small town grocers here but honestly they can’t compete with the big box stores price wise so I’m stuck getting what I can wherever I can. Thankfully our Sam’s Club is only 30 mins or so away. I still try to stay out of there except for once a month. That bakery section gets me too 😂 Thanks for sharing with me and thank you so much for subscribing to my channel. I hope you stick around 🤍
Came across your channel tonight. I did subscribe and hit notifications. Great haul.
@@kikomartin-pr Thank you so much! I plan to get another grocery haul up soon🤍
With your large family you should check on ordering from Azure Standard. It’s a co-op where you can order in bulk foods and goods for good prices you just have to order and pickup at a drop site in your area.❤
Where can I find the recipe? Thanks!
@@ashleymuniz2676 I really just throw whatever I have in there. It’s so versatile! For this particular pot I used 2 pounds of lean ground beef, I used a pack of frozen okra, a half a pack of frozen baby Lima beans, a pack of frozen mixed vegetables, a diced up purple onion, a 32 ounce carton of beef broth, a large bottle of V8 ( or you could use 4 small cans of V8), a dash of old bay seasoning, a dash of Tony Chachere’s original creole seasoning, about 4 beef bullion cubes ( optional), salt, pepper and 2 cans ( not drained) of diced tomatoes. I think that’s all I added in this one. I ended up not putting the pasta in, but you can boil elbow noodles and put in at the end if you prefer or you can add potatoes or you don’t have to add anything. I also fry my beef in salt and pepper, with a dash of the creole and old bay seasoning mixed in with it, as well as mixing the seasoning in with the soup itself so it can cook all day and really come together, flavor wise. I let mine cook about 8 hours on high. And I stir it a couple times if I’m home. If not I don’t worry about it. I hope that helps! I’m going to try to pin some of my favorite recipes to my profile here if I can figure it out🤍
I am a new subscriber and enjoyed your grocery haul. I live in Tennessee and eggs are almost $4 a dozen at walmart it makes me so sad. I have been shopping aldi more because walmart has raised there prices. I look forward to your next video.
@@angelafleming3328 We do the same here. Everything is ridiculously priced and for the average person it feels almost impossible to afford to buy groceries. Thank you for subscribing and taking the time to comment. I hope you continue to enjoy our videos and that you stick around 🤍
I have 9 children too, 3-14yo. We spend $1000/mo but lately it’s been $1200-1300 so I’m thinking I may have to up it to $1200 🫣
@@raisingcubs7915 I understand. Ours is steadily increasing. I just spent $18 on 60 eggs. I was sick! We had sold our chickens awhile back because they had stopped laying and we needed to simplify as much as possible. We will definitely be adding chickens to our little homestead again as soon as we begin to rebuild it. Thank you for commenting 🤍
