The shirt ripping scene (while silly) is actually less absurd than it could've been. Thank goodness for the director that both actors (and their stunt doubles) were muscular. Imagine if Godfrey Ho was shooting the scene and then finds out one of his main actors was a chubbier man all along. Thatd be the ultimate cherry on top of this chaos sundae

Watched this recently, expecting to make fun of it a lot. And while it had really funny moments and bad script and acting, the story was simple and kept you hooked, the fight scenes in general were okay too. And when it finally lead to this point, the fight had so much weight to it and the music got hype that i actually got hyped. By no means an amazing movie, but i really enjoyed it surprisingly. The two MC's are pretty iconic too. Webt from a joke/10 to a solid 7/10 lol
I never get tired rewatching this movie even though its bizarre where everyone in the city knows kung fu. Its just pure entertaining, I choose this over today's movies 💯💯👌🏽

When you watch the whole movie you realize why his eyes got messed up. He killed some women and gouged out their eyes. It's supposed to be poetic justice.
Flat and Cheesy !!!They move too slow !!! A better fight is in Somtum(2008) aka Muay Thai Giant with Nathan Jones fighting another giant Conan Stevens !!! They rip an airplane in half in their fight !!!!
