honestly aside from the sillyness of the grunting, alot of the kicks were performed pretty damn well. Not to mention that awesome one handed cartwheel to dodge the sweep kick, that was flawless. Really some decent fight choreography going on here
This is what happens when skilled martial artists have to rush choreography due to a tight budget and schedule, you get this weird "looks good and crap at the same time" vibe, LOL.

No it's ok. First time i saw this, i laugh. After that, i was studying their moves. Then i was downloading the soundtrack. And now, i dramatically lick my knife while making my toast.
Well, although this was indeed an impressive fight scene, I still have to say that The Raid, and The Raid 2, are both pretty much one long fight scene...seriously, people, go watch those films...you will thank me later.
I guessed they oil up their bodies under their shirts you know just in case there was a random fight where their top priority was to rip their shirts up.
This movie honestly has some pretty great fight scenes. They're corny as all hell but the actors are clearly skilled martial artists. One of my favorite unheard of movies to show friends
Not gonna lie, as cheesy as it clearly is the fight choreography is actually decent. it isn't fantastic by any means, but for a cheesy 80s flick it does a pretty good job at tense combat, each hit feels like it carries weight (minus those slow motion ones) and it seems well rehearsed. or I'm just a sucker for 80s action, who knows.
This movie was already bad for it's time. It's not representative of the whole era. In general, action movies were way better back in the 70s, 80s, 90s, and early-mid 2000s, than they were in the shitty 2010s. 2010s are the worst decade ever. Fact.
ALLNEWSUX1 Raid series has far better fight scenes and overall more entertaining, saying everything new sucks is childish and stupid, in 2015 alone movies like Mad Max: Fury Road, It follows and '71 have been reminders that excellent movies are still made.

It's like a ritual to come back and watch this after a while and then read the comments. I always walk away with tears of joy. That goes double for Turkish Star Wars.
When I was about 7 years old, using RUclips for the first time, I came across this video along with my brother. We thought it was hilarious, 10 years on, nothing has changed.
I can't stop watching this fight scene it is too epic and realistic. I love the slow motion face hits when he slobbers all over himself & also when the bad guy impales his eye on the only nail in the entire room. Then to add insult to injury he impales his other eye on the hook. I can't stop laughing.
Undefeatable, a movie so bizzare with its fight sequences its actually good. Although it may not compare to some movies with good stories, acting, and choreography, there's no denying this one has somethign going for it. The overexaggeration of attacks and grunts, along with a few struggles almost brings in a good amount of suspense. There's no denying that all of these actors had some good moves too, especially the woman with one broken arm in a sling.
Still less grunting than the fight scenes in my high school's post apocalyptic Macbeth play. (Seriously, when the kid who played Macbeth got his "shoulder broken," he grunted in pain for 20 seconds.)
They used the same pants in every sequence and the actors were in charge of washing them and providing their own fight lube. The fact that he brought in a knife and licked it was totally improvised earning this movie and the actors in this particular fight scene a huge nod from the academy. Classic. Pure cinema gold. So good in fact that they were able to release it exclusively on VHS. 5 stars.

She was winning against a muscular man who was taller than her and didn't have a broken arm. Plus did you see that back flip? That must've hurt like a bitch to do with a broken arm.
It's from Undefeatable (1994). It's considered to be Hong Kong director Godfrey Ho's best movie ever. That is to say, it has a coherent plot, unlike most of his other films. And just like all of his other films, it features tons and tons of random fights. This one, for instance, has 14 fight scenes.
Looking at the details of how old the video is knowing I seen it when first uploaded makes me feel old as dirt. At least I still remember this video ...and I didn't even see the actual movie still.

I was looking for this movie for the better part of the last half hour. I remember watching it as a kid and getting freaked the fuck out by it when he gouges out peoples eyes. Now watching back, this shit is fucking hilarious.
This movie is a fucking classic. I watched it when I was a kid, and I liked it. As bad as the movie might be, it's very watchable and entertaining as hell.
Title is 100 percent accurate. I've watched this so many times. The pseudo slow-mo punch is awesome, and the double zinger at the end of the scene is so perfect.
@0:38, "Let me just check to make sure both of my shoulders are still there before I rip my shirt off..... Yep... Both still there... we have a green light on shirt rip and removal".

lol sorry Accostrophe, this fight scene for all it's vintage coolth really does kind of suck.
@@samb316I agree there are some good moves in there

My favorite part of the film is when the protagonist was like "AAAAAHH!" and the bad guy is like "AAAAAAHHHH AAAAAAHHH!"
+Paul Francis Goneda And mine when the protagonist tries to be cool and witty and says "yeah"... awkwkard pause... "see ya".
Mine was the drooling💧 after being punched.
In real life, bad guys totally scream in a weird staccato beat AHHH AH AH AHHH
That was cool, but I liked the part where they said "Aaaaaahhhh!" a little better.
@@starsiegeplayer yea and what about when he said "aaarrrrrrrrrAAAAHHHHHH"
Its only flaw being it doesn't continue on forever
This needs to be the same length as Goku Vs Frizea from DBZ

How did their chests suddenly become so oiled?
You mean you don't oil your chest every morning in case of events like this?
Ifallo I'm a girl so I'm not sure if it would work out the same way.
lolarobin Haha. :-) Still I wouldn't go so far as to discourage it...
They probably oil their shirts to keep themselves oiled at all times.
It's the sweat from the hard fight you noobs bet yall neva fight for real, beest real fight ever here noobs rekt swag yolo.
I like stingray's fighting style of keeping his arms down so he can get hit a few times. That's just common courtesy.
I always wondered if he was perhaps having a stroke during the fight. Of course usually that just causes one arm to go dead.
Roy hahahhajaja
Notice how he flexed his back like the entire time?
He looks like an old school robot the way he moves his arms and legs
Stingray clearly inspired Ben askren

I actually read the script and the bad guy made a mistake during the fight, he said aggggh instead of arhh
@@AnubisDark dammit you just ruined the whole scene for me
"Undefeatable." Just an extra note, this fight song plays for EVERY fight scene in the movie too.

Classically trained actors are genius character actors, you can clearly tell he has a theatre background.
I love the closeup shot of the hero where he growls dramatically and grimaces while flexing all his muscles for literally no reason. Lol.
There's more screaming in this than in an entire episode of DBZ.

No it's ok. First time i saw this, i laugh. After that, i was studying their moves. Then i was downloading the soundtrack. And now, i dramatically lick my knife while making my toast.
Whats the name of the song?
You have the soundtrack downloaded? Where??
If you genuinely believe it's a good movie, yes. But if you love it because it's so bad, then no. lol
One small but important detail, on 0:17 Stingray makes an epic face which you can barely see 'cause of quality. Download the movie, it's worth it.
"Keep an eye out for ya, Stingray."
"Yeah, see ya!"
"Because, you're blind now. You know?"
"Yeah. We got that."
