2010 One Shining Moment - Luther Vandross
Просмотров 271 тыс.14 лет назад
Jennifer Hudson's version was decent, but I still prefer Luther Vandross's version like they used to show every year. I have done my best to fix the 2010 One Shining Moment to how it originally should have been shown, including a few audio clips and the original song by Luther Vandross. Enjoy!
DO YOU BELIEVE IT?
Poor Hossa took him only 3 straight cups to get one... meanwhile the guy whose promising career he ruined by destroying his eye, forget that I guess
KARIYA THE FANS WANT ONE SCOREE OFF THE FLOOR ON THE BOARD PAUL KARIYA
gary thorne was so good.
Too this day as a oil fan I can tell you that we still get dumbass goals like this.
Chills every time
Patrick Ewing Jr. found a way to play in 2010.
Jennifer Hudson was decent? Decent? It sucked so bad words cannot describe how much it sucked.
Definitely one of the best two way Snipers in the history of the game.
Fuck Hossa
This is why I continue to say that if it's not on a list it's not a list. This goal call will forever be remembered as one of the best SCF goals in modern history.
I have chills
Yeah was a great one! NJ seemed invincible with the trap Defense; Rangers had too many offensive weapons and skill 94-95
A real shame that this doesn't have as many views as the others. History makes is jump... Absolutely perfect
Here’s Kariya, the fans want one, SCORES! OFF THE FLOOR, ON THE BOARD! PAUL KARIYA. Gary Thorne is amazing
Hossa pulled the original Kevin durant
My top 5 players of my youth
hated him since he was a senator ughhh
NOW 500 !!!!!!!!!
One of the best calls ever.
What an amazing story
And on Smith's own birthday, no less! At least history will remember him! Him & Bill Buckner & Mickey Owen
Here's the story behind "One Shining Moment" and how it became the anthem of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament [sports.yahoo.com/blogs/ncaab-the-dagger-college-basketball-blog/one-shining-moment-became-ncaa-tournament-anthem-140359068.html]
April 10, 1982. Up until June 11, 2012 - this was the greatest thing to happen in LA Kings History
"What if we'd known then about Concussions what we know now? ... History will be made."
It's only 2003, technology wasn't that bad then
@@BobbyT. Technology wasn't bad, but concussion impacts still weren't known. CTE wasn't yet discovered, and we didn't have a wide range of former players committing suicide by shooting themselves in the heart, asking that their brains be examined. Today, if a guy is knocked out with a concussion, he has to go into concussion protocol right away, and more than likely won't be coming back into the game.
Pomerlain89 fair enough
this makes us dukies happy. . I hated the Jennifer hudson version. dont mess wit tradition. teddy or luther
Or David Barrett
lol now he has 3
Nice work, added to my favorites!
Ovechkin is such a clown. There's only one guarantee.
hahaha i cant believe he made the finals, 3 years in a row. 3 different teams. unbelievable
Will likely never happen again in the NHL.
@@MScorpioM Patrick maroon has won the last 3 cups one with the blues two with lightning
Well Corey Perry is on the verge of losing 3 straight finals with 3 different teams
@@edwardioanciocirlan1489 couldn't happen to a worse person
This is perfect for Henrik Lundqvist!! Sooner or later baby he's going to get it!!!
+Mike C lol nope
+PLB051080 time will tell
Don't tale this the wrong way Im a rangers fan but I'd rather see him get traded and win a cup then stay with us and get no cup
Lance Steelflex I felt the exact same about Ovechkin after the Caps got bounced by the pens for the 2nd year in a row and now I have a playoff run and championship memory that will probably never be surpassed because of how it all went down and all the suffering (a good chunk of that misery being caused by your squad 😂) that lead us there. Keep the faith.
Jacob T nope
Nice video. This should really have been a commercial
Ohh.. yayayayahhh
one of the better ones including the NHL's, good job buds
Gives me chills
Oh the irony lol Hossa looks sick in a pens jersey
I don't think it was that he didn't take the deal it was the WAY he did it. Like, "I think Detroit will win, so I'm going there." Kind of implying that his old team sucked. It would have been better to say something like, "I don't feel like being tied down to a long-term contract at this time, blah blah blah, we couldn't come to certain agreements, yada yada yada," or whatever. The comments he made are what left a bad taste in peoples' mouths. But then, he got pwn3d, we won, and then he won the NEXT year, so it's all over now. (It's like, if you're going to be a Cup chaser, that's fine, but don't be a dick about it.)
Ah I loved embarassing those dirt bags at their own barn....
HELL YEAH
Coming from a PENS FAN I don't really blame Hossa. I would have done the same thing. But the irony was absolutely hilarious. I'm glad he won a Cup with Chicago because that means Philly didn't win it and I'm OK with that.
Plus not signing him gave us more capspace and we were able to keep Dupuis, which worked out for us in the long run.
how'd that work out?
I'm a die hard devils fan and I loved Scott Stevens but my goodness what a show of heart by one of the best players in the game at the time if not for injuries kariya woulda have gone after some records but thankfully we won behind Scott Stevens and the greatest of all time MR Martin Broduer also that was as clean as can be no elbow on that what so ever the man played about 20 years and bad 2 elbow penalties in his careers
shemsdawg1 His elbow hit his head not clean at all
Dangerous hit and definitely should be illegal, but by the rules of the game at the time it was a clean hit. Die Hard Ducks fan since 93, so in no way defending the hit, just according to the rules at the time it was clean
I DONT GIVE A FUCK ABOUT HOSSA & HAWKS! GGGOOOO BBBRRRUUUIIIIINNNNSSSSS!!!!
and isn't the point of the nhl is to win the cup? Everyone should be a cup chaser or your not playing the game correctly.
Pittsburgh offered him a 5-year deal reportedly worth an average of $7M/year. That's $35M over 5 years with a cup contender. He opted for the 1 year deal with the Red Wings ($7.45M) because he thought they had a better chance. Patience would have been staying in Pittsburgh instead of burning that bridge and then playing for 2 more teams.
Today he has 3 cups ;)
And now he'd have 3 cups if he'd stayed in Pittsburgh ;)
Adam Grasinger doubt it cause the pens wouldn't have had cap for the key players they have today
Goin to be hell of a cup
He won it will this best hockey team you can play for
Hahaha yes. Jagr already has 2 cups anyway. so yes, he can kiss my ass as well. I'm hoping he retires soon though so that we can finally forgive him and remember him as a legendary penguin.
Sadly, I knew a few who did. Buttholes. Well, I wouldn't call them fans anymore, would you? I'm glad for Hossa now. He seems to have found his place, and good for him. Jagr, however, can kiss my ass.
WHOOAAAH! Pens fans did NOT, and would not root for the flyers.....EVER! Any pens fans who did need to be lined up and shot, lol. I'm a pens fan and i rooted for hossa because he did something that you normally dont see in sports......he turned down the big money. We here in pgh RESPECT that.
Here is what happened.....Marian Hossa did the noble thing: turned DOWN the money for a chance to win. We here in Pittsburgh dont hold anything against him for that. We just felt that it was an insult to our team, who was 2 wins away from that goal. It all worked out in the end though. we won the cup in 09, and HE won ii a year later.
love that goal horn
