How I Released My Music Without a Label: A Small Guide for Independent Classical Musicians
Hi everyone, I’m Daria Vasileva, a classical pianist, and in this video, I’m excited to share some of the knowledge I’ve gained from releasing my own music, as well as some of my classical recordings, on streaming platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and more.
For the longest time, I believed that you needed a label to professionally release your music, but the reality is-it’s never been easier! Of course, creating a professional recording and promoting your music still comes with its challenges, but I hope this video will inspire other musicians like me to realize that releasing your music independently is an incredible tool that’s much more accessible than it seems.

Wonderful. Cant' believe this only has 200 views. Please come give a concert in Lausanne! :))
thank you!! hopefully one day :))
@@pianistdariavasileva Nice! Also, can we do musical requests? For example I'd love to hear Scriabin's op2 n1 :))
🎹👍💯🌹♥️
Wonderful❤
thank you!!
C'est génial ! You deserve more recognition for your work. Thank you for sharing
you are so kind!
Your left hand has such an impressive range! Wish my left hand could do half as much lol. Really is evident how much you practice ❤️
have you tried this particular piece?
well , sadly does not work as well as here when playing together :)
I have not! Don't have the skillset for it haha
Нет проблемы. Прибавьте ещё одну октаву. Поучите так.
You can spend hours practicing these chords, but when it comes time to play the opening of Beethoven’s Hammerklavier, it’s always a gamble! 😅 ⠀ You need to begin with so much energy, drive, and fire-yet still be precise. This can be tricky because of the jumps. ⠀ Some pianists actually play the first note with their right hand. And while I’m all for rearranging pieces sometimes (especially Scriabin 😁), I believe it shouldn’t be done here. Cheating this way takes away Beethoven’s character, which was all about facing and overcoming obstacles! ⠀ So… more practice it is! 😁
Although the playing is phenomenal that dress is pretty distracting. Please, continue.
wasn't my intention with the dress at all.. but somehow i liked the interpretation of this culmination here, so ended up here :)
It's so exciting and relaxing ... Congratulations, you play the piano perfectly... 🎹✨👌 Thanks RUclips algorithm ⭐
thank you!:)
Wow!😮 It's a beautiful piano 🎹✨ The sensation of touching must have been amazing🙌
it definitely was a dream!
@@pianistdariavasileva You know! I’m learning to play the piano and your channel is very inspiring. 🍃🎹😉
It sounds great 🙌
thank you!
@@pianistdariavasileva you're welcome! Daria ... keep it up🎹✨🙌🪩

Amazing as usual daria ❤ may i please ask you what's the specific function of the left pedal in this piece? Like what is it used for?
Thank you! i would say to achieve full pianissimo (for example second page) and also rather closed sound, when needed.
@@pianistdariavasileva thank you so much for your answer 🙏
Ravel's Mirrors
close, but not :)
Giant Steps by Ravel 😊

Super 💯🎹👏🌹❤️
This is so incredible and mesmerizing. You're nailing it ❤️
I am trying my best! you are so kind!
Ondine. Gaspard de la Nuit. Maurice Ravel
bravo!:)
@@pianistdariavasileva Non è mio merito ma, di mio Padre che è stato il Primo Flauto del Teatro di San Carlo a Napoli. Lui mi ha fatto crescere nella Musica che adoro. Lui non è più. Grazie per la Sua Musica
Ondine from Gaspard de la Nuit. Awesome and great that you are scaling these mountains. Not sure if Ill get there myself... I do really love Ravel; I'm polishing up one of his early piano pieces, the Menuet Antique. Gaspard looks very tough.
you are absolutely right! The Menuet Antique is so beautiful, I hope that you're having a lot of fun with it!:) Gaspard IS TOUGH, I am working only on Ondine at the moment...
I can't imagine working on all 3 parts at the same time, unless you've already studied the work.
It’s just my second piece of this famous French composer in my repertoire - before I played Jeux d’eau, when I was 17 years old, and as my second piece I chose the one I’m playing at the video - continuation of water topic, I guess 😅 ⠀ The reason I chose this particular piece though is to broaden my horizon both in musical and technical senses - lately I’ve been playing lots of Scriabin and romantic repertoire, and I needed to step out of my comfort zone and learn something new! ⠀ Excited to perform it for the first time already this Sunday in Tobel 4 in Hinwil (near Zürich) at 17.00, along pieces by Bach, Beethoven, Schubert and Chopin ❤️🔥
Magnifique, bravo ! 🥺
merci!
Caro????😂😂😂😂
could you enlighten me so i could also laugh on what you mean?
Mazzepa 😅
What's the name of this beautiful piece?
it is Nocturne, written by me :) you can listen to the full version if you click to related video.
Bravissima 👏👏👏👏💐💐💐💐💐💐🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹❤️
Grazie!
Talent speaks for itself 🎹💯♥️🌹♥️
Hoppla, das wird ein Klavier Marathon!! Freue mich, es einmal live zu hören!
Definitiv! Ich spiele das auch in Hinwil.
Ich reserviere einen Platz!
I was so charmed seeing this lovely piano, warmly captured in this video-- and then your playing it with a sweet lilt made it sing! Caused a rush of euphoria to tingle from my back to my forehead 😊 lol
Glad you enjoyed it!🥹🥹
Wagner lived in luxury without ever paying a penny lol. Liszt, who accumulated (and donated) enormous amounts of money, stopped caring about luxury when in his 40s (if I remember well) and passed to Wagner large amounts of money to Wagner, so that he could keep his life style and compose better. According to Paula Rehberg, Liszt in a letter passed to Wagner the famous Tristan harmonic triad saying:”here’s something interesting! I know you will know what to do with it” (or something like that). Scriabin, on Wagner’s Steinway and under your fingers sounds so grand!
thank you so much for this piece of information!!
Very beautiful, wonderful I like it very much.💯🎹♥️🌹♥️
Super 💯🎹♥️🌹♥️
Oh, idk why but this gives my memories fly trough my mind(i'm first comment :D)
