    Will loosening the temple a slight bit behind one ear make the glasses sit lower or be tilted on that same side? I’ve been wanting to loosen just one side a tiny bit, but I’ve been afraid it will make the glasses tilt.

    • @ThatGlassesGuy03
      @ThatGlassesGuy03 2 дня назад

      All the adjustments play together but then you just adjust for the tilt if they’re crooked after. Depending on where the bend is placed it can do that, but it shouldn’t.

    • @ThatGlassesGuy03
      @ThatGlassesGuy03 3 дня назад

      @@gizward_gmr5681 that largely comes down to the coatings applied (in reference to cleanability) Top tier coatings will offer the highest level of super oleiophobic and hydrophobic layers for superior cleanability. But as I’ve shown in other videos, coatings will be the limiter in abrasion/impact resistance. Your best bet here would be a top ar coating like Hoya ex4 or Zeiss duravision platinum paired with Trivex or hivex.

    I just got my first ever glasses, they said I had hypermetropia. I have been wearing them for two days and I find it hard to adjust :( when I hold my phone in my hand, it is very sharp but when I move my head to the left or right, it gets blurry and the phone is not rectangle anymore, it looks like it’s slanted. Struggling quite a bit. 😢

    i need a fix, i have metal aviator sunglasses , and everything is level and fits good except one thing. One of the arms or temples i think it's properly called is setting slightly above the ear. So its not resting on top like its supposed to be. But my question is, if it fits every where else correctly, should i just leave it alone but anyone see that one side of my head and see the weirdness of the arm slightly above the ear, or is there an easy fix to get that arm to rest on ear? Its actually was a problem on the right ear, and i forgot what adjustment i made, but i fixed the right arm to rest on the ear, but then the left arm which was resting on the ear is now above the ear. So i fixed one side and it messed up the other side, like the swapped or switched places. I dont know if i just moved the end of the arm out because it was to tight and then it rested or if if i bent the arm up or down to get it fixed on the one side, but then it messed the other side up. I think i should just leave it, since everything is level and looks normal. But its so annoying to see that one arm not sitting on top of ear. 👂, to see it above ear a little bit looks messed up to me.

    Right they are not perfect, the main reason I wear them is to relax my eyes from oncoming headlights as the white or blue lights blind me and put me on edge. The yellow calms that. As well as being myopic where I need more light at night, it is more light of a yellow nature rather than the harsh white or blue. Now I dont know any scientific reasoning for this but in the UK the sodium street lights used to be used as they gave shadows i.e. contrast at night. France at least used to have yellow headlights and when you travelled ther you had to coat your clear car lenses to yellow. Not yellow but BMW interior amber lights were used do to the calming nature as a night light when driving..

    none of my spring glasses have ever broken. Hands down Spring is better. Not sure who is buying Custom Made / tailor made glasses, but no glasses/Frame will ever fit you perfectly , and a Spring is nice way to conpensate for that. It doesn't mean that you need to put on Super small glasses, but it''s a spring... It's designed to do that... Nah man Less Tech in the glasses is better. Lets go back to the stone age. My Rigid frames in comparison Bent, and are borderlines almost always falling off , and so I had to purchase a glasses holder string.

    • @ThatGlassesGuy03
      @ThatGlassesGuy03 Месяц назад

      That’s great you’ve had such luck with yours. But it’s far from the usual case. As for fit, you’re 100% incorrect on your assumption they must be custom made to fit properly, it’s all about having a proper fitting and adjustment to the frame so they aren’t falling off. As you move up into the upper echelon of frame quality you don’t run into issues of frames just bending or warping out due tot he construction and material quality. Spring hinges are exceptionally rare at that level because they’re guaranteed to fail, it’s a when, not if. Now if you’re changing up glasses frames every year or two you may never notice this problem, but we have frames that are decades old and still going strong. 🥂
