I had trouble reading this due to it being my first novel and having shitty imagination (still enjoyed it though)

For me. Even if they are the same, they are no better than each other. They got a different focus. And background for their MC. Rudy- We know how many audiences hate him, but that's how he is written. To show how annoying a human sometimes decides. Remember how shitty of a person he is in his past life. But if you notice, his next life makes him become aware he is not some of a hero or a protagonist, he is still a human being that is capable of mistakes. He grieves and he will be eaten by guilt, but his character development makes him understand better to become much more better as a person as time goes by even if it is slow paced. And it is a great story telling how real humans are hard to change, no one can change in one night. But we see Rudy slowly becoming more responsible as he ages(although he is still a pervert, now he slowly learns the manners on who and when he should give that pervertness). TBATE MC- He is already a King and also the strongest Swordsman in his past life, as a person he is already better than Rudy miles ahead. He is already a typical OP MC that will make the audience go WOW for whatever he does. His only character development is him not holding back and being arrogant. He is for those who like action and cool stuff. Don't get me wrong, i like them both. But i am tired of many saying that TBATE is better or vice versa. The plot and pacing are both different. The lessons and focus are different. The meaning is different

I've finished LoTM book one (on COI rn), and I'm most interested to see it all because, wrapping my head around the plot is genuinely so hard. So much happens in such rapid succession, to give it visuals will let me really think about the plot. LoTM 1 was a wild ride. I didn't know what was happening a lot of the times, but I still really enjoyed it. COI is a lot better, I can make inferences along with the protagonist as well as understand the plot. If the adaptation is done well (which even Cuttlefish has approved of) then this will be an amazing story to share, and likely become one of my favorites since so many more details can be shown to demonstrate character and other tiny details (facial expressions, tones, etc), which need a lot of emphasis.

As a former top 5 author who stopped writing because of university. The most important thing is your ability to grab attention with something that's broad and appealing, but ends up being engaging and unique. Make sure your first few chapters are AMAZING, because Webnovels are kinda like fast food, people's attention spans won't last past the first 3 chapters. Enter a contest: usually WSA will do well. Go with the flow. As a Webnovel Author, you will most likely be writing 1 chapter a day. Don't overthink things and stress out. Start writing and ideas will come to you faster than you think as you just write. Stack up chapters. Have a surpluss of chapters just in case for days you can't write. Tho it is weird since a lot of the times getting hints and feedback from readers can help steer your novel in the right direction. Experience silence more often, like on the toilet don't bring your phone, ideas will come to you.
