This Audio Show Drew a Great Response from the Forest
During the Kentucky Bigfoot Research Organization's 2022 expedition I gave a presentation and played several clips of suspected sasquatch audio. During my talk, my audio recorder caught an hour and a half of knocks, whoops, howls, and other vocals from the forest surrounding our camp. Some of the best are isolated in this video. To see my full presentation, which elicited all these vocals, check out this video from the KBRO: ruclips.net/video/64fcGxohd7w/видео.html

During the 2010 BFRO expedition to Tennesse, three researchers and I heard a multitude of nearby wood knocks, and then observed eyeglow from two different locations. The first about 40 feet away, the second about 100 feet away. The audio from this 45 minute engagement has been reduced to an 11 minute study that preserves all the wood knocks heard, and the commentary we made on the eye shine we ...
Cohutta Howls - And Discovery of the Zipper Vocal

You WILL need to wear head phones to hear the new vocals that are the subject of this video. Recorded in 2008, this recording captures an unusual new type of vocalization, that I did not recognize until 2010. Since then, I and others have captured it in many locations, under similar conditions.

Be sure to turn on closed captions (CC) and see the notes I've added to this video. This is a follow up to the video I posted yesterday showing the eyeshine and peek-a-boo motions captured by Robert Dodson. On this version I played with the contrast and brightness to try and bring out some more detail in the subject. This does appear a bit better than the first cut I released. If you want to se...

This series of clips was extracted from a video shot by Robert Dodson, titled "bigfoot is pissed". I found the eye shine in his video interesting enough that I wanted to isolate the individual clips, as well as some other squatchy behavior (rock throws, faint vocals), and share them with my friends. Take note of the "duck down" at the 59 second mark. Is there some facial reflection, and a hint ...
Bruno Howls

For two days in late October, 2013, an unseen vocalizer made loud moaning howls, whoops and wood knocks in the hills near Bruno, West Virginia. A local resident managed to capture four clips of that vocalizer with their cell phone, and those clips were quickly shared with the BFRO. This video spectrogram is an illustrated playback of the vocals captured in those clips. They are fairly to except...
Wood Knocks and a Whoop, 2010 BFRO Expedition to Tennessee

On the last morning of the 2010 BFRO expedition to Tennessee, sometime between 3 and 5 a.m., a wood knock was recorded near our camp (we were all asleep). A couple seconds later a distant knock responded, followed by a nicely executed whoop from the south (right channel).

Morning whoops such as these have been captured in areas where sasquatch are suspected to reside. They can be easily overlooked as they fit well into the chatter of morning birds at day break. But an experienced birder would have a difficult time associating these vocals with a known North American bird. These vocals were captured at 5:55 a.m. on October 8, 2012, in Albemarle County VA. Similar...

Sounds like a clip from Sasquatch bioacoustics .
4:49 interesting how theres a subtle bit that sounds a lot like the "zipper" sound you made a video on

Knock vocals is new to me and I’ve studied Sasquatch a lot
There's a lot more complexity to their vocals that we don't talk about, to guard against folks who use that knowledge to create hoaxes. Sadly audio hoaxes have become a popular pass-time for a few knobs who have nothing better going on in their life.
Wow incredible💚
It's just a constipated squirrel 🐿️
Incredible piece of footage. Sure, it could be an owl. If an owl can raise and lower itself by 5-6 feet vertically every time the light comes by. This is seriously cool stuff! I wish I had come across it years ago.
This is an excellent video! I have never done any work with audio software and this stuff looks like magic to me. It's super cool how you found that second knock a the end. I think audio 'fingerprinting' will be a very powerful tool in getting the creatures recognized. Thank you for posting!
We had 3 sightings in Connecticut, and a separate whistling incident which copied my Father's call for me exactly, even though he was at work. This was in Connecticut, not Alaska, not the mountains of Tibet, but in Connecticut, which even in 2024 is still considered 60% woodlands.
At our sightings in Connecticut, we never heard speech or screams, but when I was in the protected Watershed property near our home, I heard an exact copy of my Father's whistle for me during mid day during the week to the point I yelled back, then I stopped and realized he was at work.
I had an exact copy of my whoop repeated back to me from a night time forest in Pennsylvania. Other's have experienced similar "mimicry" vocals.
I'm no expert and only believe in the possibility of their existence but to me this sounds like a Nursery call meaning like an adult calling to it's young and the young is responding or it could be a mating call
Thanks
He get hit by a rock or just close?
It was just close, but there were multiple rocks thrown at him.
At around @1:17 it sounds like a man saying, "(something something) -- down in Mississippi)". The vocals sound like a man talking, but the knocks and howls sound authentic, though.
Yes, that's me talking about a recording that was captured "down in Mississippi". The recorder was placed about 100 feet behind a group that I was speaking to as I presented these audio recordings.
To me, it sounds like a female Bigfoot in labor and soon to be giving birth.
I remember that evening very well.
So crazy you can see it's face at 1:50.
1:48 Holy shit.
Man that sounds awful. It's like the final wails of a human before the end.
People who are recording should be silent. Just go radio silent because it ruins the whole recording
So, sadly a lot of folks don't understand how to exercise noise discipline when trying to record audio. I just recommend to folks that "next time" place the recorder far outside your camp so your voices don't interfere with the recording.
Is there a mobile version or alternative of this program?
No, just a laptop/pc version.
@@SasquatchBioacoustic ok what’s the best substitute on mobile for this?
Awesome recording
Just stayed in the Gifford Prichard forest last night and heard 4 howls similar to the ones Cliff recorded in 2014, at 2:30am. Very loud but still really far away. Not a coyote.
Oh, I guess I must have seen the full clip on someone else's channel besides his. It's too bad his channel was removed because this is either an extremely well done fake or one of the best recordings ever.
Yeah, he seemed to be the real deal. He had a couple of other videos, not as good as this one, but very compelling on their own. Real shame his channel wasn't perserved.
I watched these on his channel about a year ago and also found them very interesting. I couldn't tell if I was watching acting or the real Sasquatch Rambo. Lol
What happened to the Florida Moan Howl of 2006?
Fascinating video. I'm new to the channel. Instead of using just one microphone has anyone tried placing a small scattered array of omnidirectional microphones? The recordings from each mic could be synced to a common time marker; the soundtracks could be stacked thereby enhancing coherent signal. The noise, being mostly random and a bit different at each mic location, would tend to cancel out. This is a method for improving signal to noise ratio --you would probably hear much more detail with much less background hiss. Just a thought.
Yes, we've done simple version of this with mic arrays spread out over large areas, attempting to triangulate source locations more accurately. The obstacle we run into is lack of access to equipment and software capable of more sophisticated audio analysis. We operate on a show string budget with off-the-shelf products.
@@SasquatchBioacoustic Yes, I completely understand that. I'm a retired geophysicist and we routinely stacked seismic reflection data to enhance signal to noise ratio (all digital signals). The software used would probably work on regular acoustic data assuming there is a starting reference point for stacking. I could check around to see if there may be some very cheap or possibly free software that could stack multiple tracks. But that wouldn't help with the need ($$$) for multiple mics. But you got to admit-- it'd be really cool if you could enhance the signal and hear much greater detail!
Is there any recorded continuous howl longer than this one? Its pretty amazing!!!
Yes, a pair named Andrews and Smith recorded several long howls many years ago in the Pacific North West (to best of my knowledge). Two of those howls were 12 and 13 seconds long, or longer. If I can ever get some more specifics about those recordings, I may do a video break down on them.
😱😱😱 This is literally 2.5 hours from my house!
In Jan 1979 in 18 degree weather with some snow and ice on the ground - at 2AM camping in a remote area, I heard sounds similar to these especially those that cascade down the scale. What I and my girl friend heard twice was more human than animal for sure. For the 3 hours after we heard this - I was wide awake, alert and listening for any sound by this unknown creature (I never heard the words "Bigfoot" or "Sasquatch" back then) including vocalization or movement. I heard absolutely nothing for 3 hours. I put the highest, starting "note" as in the 3rd octave above middle-C on a piano and the final "note" was in the 1st or 2nd octave below middle-C. I was frozen with fear because I knew it was not any animal I've ever heard AND it was a big animal. These vocalizations give me some closure. Now I can believe it was a Bigfoot. BTW I never went back to this area in eastern OKlahoma where the "Bigfoot Massacre" in Leflore County reportedly happened long ago.
MH, Have you detected that where the voice was effected by the act of wood knocking, as in from the exertion/arm movement? To me , that would confirm the connection even more. Thanks!
Nothing obvious. It would probably take a lot of exertion to have a noticable affect on the vocal. And if it's a practiced activity, there may be little to no impact at all. Consider drummers who sing while they drum. They are certainly pounding out the beat, but you couldn't tell given the smoothness of their singing, which is obviously well practiced.
In Jan 1979 near the Robber's Cave State Park in East Oklahoma - not knowing ANYTHING about Bigfoot/Sasquatch or even then ever heard those words, I heard something like this especially the high notes and I and my girl friend were absolutely scared to death. I knew it wasn't any big animals I was familiar with horse, cow, elk, mule, donkey, moose, etc. BUT I had no idea what made that vocalizationi at 2AM in 18 degree weather in a remote area.
Very legitimate
Sounds like,"Who fired that gun?" ???
Good 👍

These are intriguing. Thank you for sharing.
I can find no one that does such thorough audio breakdowns or use of Audacity in sound isolation "regarding sasquatch sounds/ vocalizations" . Thank you for showing me how it's done!
Thanks. That's kind of you to say.
Nice to hear a new posting. Keep them coming!
Good stuff, presented very well. Were those knock-whoops, or whoop-knocks? I only get the whoop-knocks in my area.
Seems like a little bit of both. But I can't be sure they came from the same source. We had lots of activity that weekend with multiple groups having encounters at the same time, but separated by a couple of miles between each group. There's lots of critters in that area, and we seem to have drawn in a few with that audio show.
For a second I thought that Bigfoot anthropologist was not hoaxing but then I realized who uploaded this video. Very interesting captures.
Thank you for providing us with these audio recordings.
There goes those chills up my spine 😆

Good job on this one!

No doubt about it....that's the real deal.
It looks to be a possible Sasquatch sonic voice pattern if I had to grade it although others say it's a wolf. I'm just starting to try n learn more about this so I'm far from qualified. Thanks
