See, that was my problem exactly! 96% of all the clothes & every piece of clothing accessory that has come into my house in the last 5 years has cost me $1 or less per item. Hence being buried in clothes, shoes, belts & ties! My son & I did up over 30 contractor bags (full box +) & at least 40 normal garbage bags full of clothes that I donated straight back to the places I bought them from. I overwhelmed myself to the point where I'd look at everything & instead of starting to list it & make my money back + profit, I'd just freeze because I was so inundated with stuff that I didn't know where to begin. I'm still drowning, just not as bad. But it's still like I am a deer in headlights; I look at everything there is to list & I freeze because it's all just too much. But donating it back doesn't help pay my bills either. Anybody know where that easy button is???

Hoping to hit Power Hour Friday morning. They get so many clothing donations they have to cut them off sometimes. This is a huge truck trailer parked beside the store that is full of garbage bags of clothes. It’s insane how much textiles are really out there!

If you are in the Fredericksburg, VA area (Lafayette Blvd), Rikki's Re-Tail Thrift store has clothes for $1.00 - all day, every day the store is open. Store benefits Rikki's Refuge Animal Sanctuary. Might not be as exciting as your big store in Richmond but it gets a lot of the brands you are showing.

If Power Hour is from 4-5, then it seems people would just hang out until 4 so they can get items for $1. Or does the store clear everyone out before 4? I've been to estate sales that do discounts after a certain time and they ended up stopping thost deals because people would just wait until the discount time to check out. One estate sale made everyone check out and leave and line up again outside, then essentially re-opened the house for shoppers to shop for discounts.

I remember that GOT book. Recently watched your video where you got that book at the church sale, right? That sale was a great haul. Hope you'll be able to find more of those types of sales.

Do not bother with Poshmark Promoted Closet. First their charges are too high. I am not a high seller that buys in bulk and makes a profit. I sell personal items and I have always lost money, never made any. Buyers want to buy at steep deep discounts and I find most to be unfair; to get a fair buyer you need to be very very patient. Poshmark charges too high fees in the first place and then have the gall to put out a promoted closet? What the heck????? I tried the promoted closet trial because they inundated me with TRY PROMOTED CLOSET EMAILS . i thought I cancelled and before I realized it I had two charges as they charge per week . Poshmark is a SHADY company- stay away from them. Remember: Poshmark only cares about their own pockets, not yours.
