The Best Weight Loss Diet Plan for Busy Moms!
Who the hell is going to eat only 1 slice of pizza
Nobody’s on WW bc they ate too many blueberries
This was really helpful. Sorry to ask a daft question but when you take your weight and multiply by 12 does that give you a daily calorie allowance that already includes a deficit?
Someone who can eat all of that has a binge eating disorder.
The point is those foods are more filling and you likely won’t get that much of those foods and if you do then you don’t have a weight problem you have an E/D and that’s something you should go to a specialist for
“I work better under pressure!” 😂 🎯🎯🎯🎯 gah it’s like you’re talking to me every time!
I assume the people who can listen to this are the same people who read chick lit.
Can we stop using the word toned in 2025?
I believe I have been deficient in protein most of my life. At the moment I'm aiming for 100g and I will increase it gradually because it takes time for my body to get used to it. Grocery shopping is quite expensive. I eat a lot of beef burgers, chicken and salmon. I am also incorporating eggs, protein powder and tinned tuna, thankfully these are cheaper than the fresh meat so it helps my budget.
You’d rather have children suffer the consequences of diabetes and being over weight? Maybe think twice before you speak.
Uhhh the purpose of the way the points work is to move you towards making healthier choices. Literally the entire reason I do WW.
While that’s the intention, some people end up manipulating the points system, like overeating zero-point foods to save points for indulgent meals. Do you think that fosters a truly healthy relationship with food?
@luminu_official I'm sorry, are you really trying to say that calorie counting fosters a healthier relationship with food? 😂😂😂
What about the ridiculous cabbage soup diet😮
The cabbage soup diet is a classic example of a quick-fix plan that’s unsustainable and often leaves people hungry and frustrated. Did you ever try it yourself? 😅
It was a chemical breakdown diet and it wasn't by Victoria's secret it was by the Heart association. If you look it up
I've seen you reply to some comments pointing out flaws in your video (the friends pushing boundaries or not being supportive), or potential arguments for choosing the eggs (better macros, more filling, etc) with "oh that's not the point of the video", but all these things are still important and influential to the situation you portrayed here. Yes, the point is that the points system makes no sense counting calories wise and diets like weight watchers can control you and make you misserable, but real life, like the sketch, is also more complicated and much more things come at play. If you're focusing only on that "your main point is right" then i'm afraid you're not helping anyone with this video, because if you yave this sort of mentality regarding conflicts like this in real life you're gonna do more harm than good.
You’re right-there are so many layers to situations like this, and we understand that the skit might resonate differently with everyone. Some comments focus on the details of the video, but our goal was to highlight one specific issue: how the points system can create a frustrating and sometimes unhealthy relationship with food. It’s definitely not the whole picture, but it’s a piece of a much bigger conversation.
If it works for people, why knock it? It has been a good guide for me to eat more healthfully.
That’s great that it’s worked as a guide for you! For some, though, focusing on building a long-term, intuitive relationship with food can be even more empowering than following a structured program like WW.
Its less calories anyway?
yup, but like with anything, overuse those calories quickly add up! Just something to keep in mind!
Why do you need to cuss?
Very passionate!
No one binges on fruit and cottage cheese 😂 If we did we wouldn’t be overweight. You are trying to bash WW to sell your own program.
It’s true that binging on fruit and cottage cheese might not be common, but the focus is on how restrictive programs can sometimes lead to unhealthy relationships with food.
Not sure wtf this grifter is talking about - been going for a month and saw a major difference in the toning of my body
Are you following any specific diet plan?
I believe you need to look at the “legitimate” research. There is too much misleading and misinformation on the subject of protein intake. Many people are led to believe that they need much more protein than what is really necessary to help muscle growth, especially in older people. Too much BS on the web.
While there’s definitely conflicting information, it’s important to do what works best for your body. Many people actually eat less protein than they need-starting by tracking your intake can help you see where you’re at and if you should increase it!
Why would anyone go for 1 slice of pizza and some salads 🤷🏾♀️
Some people might choose it to balance enjoyment with their goals or because it fits their preferences. Do you think it’s possible to enjoy foods like pizza while staying on track?
I watched your video in june last year and for some reason, it was the catalyst for me actually trying WW. It's actually been the best thing I've ever done in terms of my weight, diet and lifestyle. In terms of the lady on the video who has ran out of points. In my experience, WW would tell you to just go out eat the pizza, enjoy your life and overspend on points for the day BUT hold yourself accountable and try a little better the next day or week. Indulge but bounce back. ❤️ I've lost 3 stone and 12 pound on WW. I now exercise 4-5 times a week, I always aim to eat my 5 a day. I always try and hit my water goal. My IBS, PMS and mental healther is so much better. The moral is to just try and find what works for you. Whether its WW or going with a health coach. Just try it. 😊 And to the lady in the video. I'm going to study a degree in food and nutrition so I would love to have a chat about it all for more information and knowledge or to bounce back thoughts on WW. Best of luck to everyone.
You’re absolutely right that finding what works for you is key. Everyone’s journey is unique, and it’s great that you’ve found balance and accountability in a way that suits you.
It’s common sense no one should be eating an entire rotisserie chicken with 2 pounds of cottage cheese for a meal. They talk about the 0 points food and their portion sizes… I always lost weight with the WW… besides, if people are looking for a justification to binge eat, they need more help than the WW
You’re right-portion control and balance are key, even with zero-point foods. While WW can work for some, it’s also important to address the underlying mindset around food, especially for those struggling with binge eating.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Sounds like another group of girls mad for some reason. Dont like it, dont use it. Right now people go to the doctor get GLP-1 lose weight, no idea what long term damage the chemicals do. How do you feel about that?
This lady obviously has no idea what she is talking about. HIIT will absolutely get you toned. I was locked up for a while. Thats all we did. I was in the best shape ever.
HIIT can be effective, but for some bodies, overworking can cause stress. Plus, diet plays a huge role too! Are you following any specific nutrition plan along with it?
@luminu_official well that's where you are wrong. HIIT does not mean to overwork. It's high intensity within your own limits. Of course, if you can cause injuries if you overwork yourself. Being locked up your nutrition plan is anything the jail provides. And it's not good. I did 4 years. Went in a slob at 260 and came out a lean 195 and tone. With absolutely no weight equipment.
@luminu_official that's prime example of why I said you don't have a clue. Hiit doesn't mean overwork yourself. It's high intensity to your limits. Of course you can cause injuries of you overwork yourself. As you can imagine jail food isn't very nutritional. I went in at a sloppy 260 and came out 195 and lean. With no weight equipment. Beside the water bags we made. There are 1000s of people that have done the same thing. So yes it's definitely possible to get tone at orange theory.
I have someone like that and now disposing of all my food. She kept pushing after i explained it would break my teeth. Others then started picking on me for my six pack. Im now throwing out food. She eats my healthy food and leaves butter in there. I am throwing them all out. Given up for good. Nasty as hell.
I’m so sorry you’re dealing with that-it sounds incredibly frustrating and draining. Have you been able to set boundaries or find support to help navigate this situation?
MY friends are putting me on the 5 & 1. I'm 6'3" and 180 pounds (skin and bone) and doing this to try and reverse type 2 diabetes but really cant see with all the sugar carbs that it will do anything but make me skinnier and more diabetic. Their online information is extremely vague and unprofessional.
It’s concerning that you’re being encouraged to try the 5 & 1 plan given your current situation. Optavia’s very low-calorie approach and reliance on processed foods can be tricky, especially when managing type 2 diabetes. Have you thought about tracking to see where you are currently before trying something so drastic?
It's not just about calories, it's what those calories are comprised of. That 1 slice of pizza is loaded with fat and carbs and will not be as filing as the eggs.
You’re absolutely right-it’s about the quality of the food, not just the calories. Do you feel like when trying to shed some pounds, foods like pizza are off-limits, or is pizza just unhealthy overall in your view?
@@luminu_official I love pizza, but it is certainly not the healthiest choice. That being said, I don't think any food really needs to be off limits as long as you limit the amount you eat and how frequently you eat it. The key to successful weight loss is not feeling hungry or deprived, so I make sure that if there is a food I'm craving, I try to make a healthier version. That being said, having a slice of pizza at the beginning of my weight loss journey would not be the best decision for me since I am learning to eat healthier and practice self-control.
Protein & High fat is good!! No sugar No processed foods Beef butter bacon & eggs for health women!
Do you find yourself avoiding a lot of foods with this way of eating?
Not impressed with this presentation. I rarely leave negative replies or a 👎🏻 but that’s what you’re getting. Seriously, why drop the F bomb? So unprofessional.
Thanks for taking the time to check our video out!
I would be eating that much if they were alll zero.. it would be expensive!
Absolutely, it can get expensive, and those 'zero' points can be misleading since they do add up over time.
OT helped me loose 20 pounds in 3 months coupled with following a low carb diet. Happy with that 🎉
How long have you been doing the low-carb diet for?
@@luminu_official3 months was all I needed to get to my goal weight.
Canadian spray actually says 5 calories per second
How often do you find yourself using that spray? It’s easy for those 5 calories per second to add up quickly over time.
I lost 20 pound in a month with fasting
how long have you been doing fasting for?
It's unhealthy to eat constantly. One or two meals a day is all the body needs, and downtime inbetween digestion is key for optimal regeneration.
Some people thrive on fewer meals, others feel better with more frequent meals. What’s your calorie target for the day that allows you to stick to one or two meals?
@@luminu_official It's biologically much healthier to give the body rest from digestion.
I don't have any problems with the points. I find it impossible to overeat lean proteins, fruit and veg. I do a lot of exercise so I have a lot of points. I don't know how you can be in a calorie deficit and not feel deprived in some way. Counting calories drives me crazy.
You can absolutely be in a calorie deficit and still enjoy the foods you love without feeling deprived. With proper planning, it’s achievable. How do you feel counting points compares to counting calories in this regard?
@luminu_official counting points helps me to fill up on whole foods that are high in fibre and protein. They gamify eating things that keep me feeling satiated. I like to count the calories after the fact to see how they work out and I'm very much in a deficit without feeling terribly deprived. But when I just counted calories of the stuff I normally want to eat, I did feel deprived.
I think professional athletes are the only ones that should be trying to achieve something like that
many people look up to athletes thinking they can achieve the same results.
Nobody is gonna eat 2000 calories of blueberry and cottage cheese
Eating 2000 calories of blueberries and cottage cheese would be quite the challenge. But we’ve seen how the “zero-point” mindset can lead to overeating because people think those foods don’t count.
Who doesn’t have a second slice?
Its more about finding balance and enjoying things like pizza, rather than restricting it all together than overdoing it when the opportunity arises. Do you feel the same way?
Foods like pizza or high-carb meals often lead to overeating and quicker hunger. While eggs and pizza may have similar calorie counts, eggs are more filling and keep you satisfied longer. Though some avoid food restrictions, for many, one slice of pizza can spiral into over indulgence in unhealthy foods. Opting for eggs over pizza is a wise decision and a meaningful step toward better eating habits, in my opinion.
You lost me at jumping around. No jumping was done in these classes.
With the different stations and quick transitions, some clients have mentioned it feels a bit like jumping around.
I’m curious to know what do you do that you have clients? Do you have a weight loss program? I’m interested thank you
Hi! we teach women the tools to break free from toxic diets, lose weight while enjoying their favorite foods, and create a healthy lifestyle they can sustain on their own. Luminü isn’t meant to be forever-it’s about empowering you for lasting success.
I just started this program. I only need to lose about 25lbs and I’ve only been on it for about a week, but already I’m eating healthier overall. Less processed food and I have been more mindful of ingredients I never considered as much before. Mayonnaise is 6 points! Butter is also heavy on the points. I think more mindful eating and healthier habits is why this program works for so many.
Becoming more mindful of what you’re eating is such a powerful first step. From our experience, though, focusing on points can sometimes feel restrictive over time-especially when it comes to foods like butter or mayo. Have you noticed if it changes how you approach meals overall?
@@luminu_officialit’s definitely changed what I consider “worth it” when it comes to meals. I still use Mayo and butter but I’ve started to pay attention to serving size more. My work bought fast food biscuits for a meeting last week and I ate one, but first I looked it up and stopped and considered did I want to spend 17 points on one food item. I decided it was worth it and then only ate more naturally occurring foods (zero point foods) for the rest of the day. Baby carrots, apples,, tangerines, boiled eggs, sliced peppers, baked fish, etc. I’m counting my chips to fit the serving size (Sun chips and Wheat Thins) instead of just eating mindlessly. Cereal is also being measured. I’ve been making pizza at home instead of buying it frozen or ordering out. I’ve lost 8 lbs of the 25 lbs I need to loose so far and I don’t feel deprived of anything.
These videos are ridiculous
What about the videos do you find ridiculous?
These ladies are spewing garbage. I lost 40lbs in 3 months. Yes… it wasn’t easy but what is when you’re losing weight? When I “transitioned” I added all the food groups back into my diet. I drink water and unsweetened tea now out of habit. I’m eating healthier than I ever have! Without their fuelings. You aren’t committed to these fuelings for life. Just while you are on the program. They teach you how to eat. To where it becomes a habit and you are eating healthier and avoiding the garbage. You calculate your TEE (Total Energy Expenditure) which gives you the amount of calories you can eat in a day while still maintaining your weight loss. It’s not that difficult. It’s expensive. It’s low calorie. It’s restrictive. So what? It’s not like weight watchers or Jenny Craig where you’ll gain all the weight back the minute you stop eating “their” food. I’m aggravated because videos like this is spewing false info. If you’re trying to make up your mind whether to do the plan (not a diet) or not, research from reliable sources, not videos like this. This video has so much wrong with it it’s hard to even fathom. By the way…. I eat carrots and sweet potatoes now that I have transitioned. Another false….. some of their fuelings are small meals. Not all of them are bars and shakes and snacks. Most people are not putting their kids on this plan or expecting them to eat the same as the plan. Please…… makes me wonder if these ladies tried the program and failed. 🤔
So funny…but true Weight Watchers doesn’t work. Why do you think Oprah Winfrey did something else? She couldn’t lose the weight until she got on Ozempic
Yup-so many programs feel restrictive and ever-changing, like WW's point system. Adding things like Ozempic just because it’s trendy doesn’t always help those who genuinely need it.
Arnold Keto Hot dog Buns: 80 calories for one bun, 6 net carbs (subtract fiber from carbs) and 9 grams of protein. On the contrary, Martin's potato buns have 23 net carbs, and 5 grams of sugars, which include 2 grams of straight up granulated sugar. You are correct, that most people would mistakenly hype fixate on "carbs" when advancing to Keto diets, but the reality is sugar and insulin response is the crux of it all. And your potato buns are sugar bombs.
yup many people overlook the impact of sugar and insulin response when focusing solely on carbs. It’s interesting how something as simple as a bun can make such a difference.
I love most of your content and love your Chanel. I’m appreciate that both of you create this Chanel, but this guest doesn’t have anything new to say and inexperienced in both nutrition and exercise,, only thing she can do it’s encourage the women. I thought this interview will give more info or anything new about menopause, but I didn’t. Wasting my time ! For someone who has a solid background in nutrition, exercise. and also logical. This interview won’t offer anything but for some women who is crying, lonely and mood swings This might help !
We really appreciate you being part of our channel and sharing your thoughts. We aim to bring value with every interview, but we understand not every guest resonates with everyone.
I lost 8 pounds in a week should I be concerned??
The main concern is achieving long-term, sustainable results. Quick weight loss without building a solid foundation of habits often leads to regaining the weight just as quickly. What plan are you currently following?
These two ladies making all the commercials are WW employees at least the one is. Dark hair lady is high up in the company. I do my research and WW has screwed up on this one.
We have never worked for WW. Just work with a lot of former WW clients.
