I do. Its an amazing device and no news when a Steam Deck 2 is coming. With new frame generation features in the graphics drivers, its insane the quality of games you can play. About PS4 level of visuals and performance. The screen is the best of any handheld including the Switch Oled.

Hi. Well it's a very long answer but I'll say that it's my favourite device and Steam Deck has transformed my gaming. The ROG Ally X looks pretty great too right now. I would suggest watching a few reviews and seeing if it's right for you. Thanks for watching

Thanks. I agree with what you're saying but FM is so addictive that it's nice to be able to play a couple of games in bed or on the sofa rather than continuing a six hour session at the desk. So I play it on Deck when the urge to play strikes but sitting at the PC doesn't appeal.

@@IriFoxDan that's what I thought when it's loading just watch TV etc think I'll get steam deck when new fm comes out

That's a difficult question for me to answer as I've not had the LCD for a long time now. I will just say that, in general, my main negative with the LCD deck was the battery life and with the OLED I've not once worried about it.

I would say that on Deck 45fps feels very smooth, something to do with being 45fps/90hz (I wish I was more technical) but on my desktop if a game was running in the 40s I wouldn't enjoy the experience. I hope you enjoy your Deck if you go for one, I'd only say to bear in mind that you'll never get anything like the experience of your 4090 but likewise you can't play your desktop whilst sat on a bus or a train. I love that PC games are now "untethered" and my playtime has gone up massively.

Personally I would go P3 Reload, P4 G and then P5 Royal. Only because P5 Royal is so good and you might not enjoy the older ones (I know Reload came out this year) as much or find them dated if you play them after.

I agree about IriFoxDan but just a disclaimer that you need hundreds of hours to finish all 3 games mentioned. If you only have time for one and make the most out of it then it's gonna be P5R with 2 or more playthroughs.

@@IriFoxDan I 100% agree with you. I first played Persona 4 Golden a few years back when PS VITA was still a thing and just recently played it again on my pc 2 years ago (which I didnt finnish till now since I basically got spoiled by watching the anime before I even played with the vita XD). I also just recently finnished my playthrough with a platinum achievement on P5R with 165 hours of play time which was really worth my time. In fact, I came searching for something to replace this feeling of emptiness after playing P5R and immediately bought P3R. However, I didn't get hooked up that much for my first impressions compared to P5R and ultimately just delayed playing it then shifted my attention to Tales of Arise till now XD. (PS: I'll probably get back to playing it again after ToA as games I tend to delay playing are usually the best ones just like I did with P5R as I was playing the Trails series at that time)

Thanks for watching. Yeah I have the same frustrations. I like to have a neat games library and it annoys me that some games are shown per disc. Some are even showing as multiple listings despite only 1 disc. I don't personally know a way around it but hopefully someone on here can help. Cheers

Well good to know it's not just me haha, I will accept that for the time being but I need to figure out why some of my very common roms aren't getting any info from screen scraper, I've heard it goes off of checksum or hash for identifying roms and not file name so I'm not sure what my issue is! Haha

There is a single player campaign but you need to buy it. You can play the multiplayer for free as they're counting on you buying upgrades with micro transactions.

Hard to beat onion/garlic when it comes to stuff like boot times and auto saving and everything. Like just turn it on or off whenever you want and it'll just continue where you left of in seconds. (And it actually turns off without draining battery) From what I understand garlic 2.0 works on this now but it's still lacking a lot of features.

@@mohrasher both. Setting up everything just the way you want it and making it look nice is part of the fun. Also having just gotten my 35xxh (like literally just unboxed it) the first experience with the OS doesn't feel as clean as a nice custom firmware. In fact it reminds me a lot of the stock experience on the original 35xx.

@@PS3ClassicGamesHD most cfw is superior in functionality as well though. Like I couldn't live without garlic on my 35xx. The way you can just turn it off whenever and it auto saves and instantly picks up where you left it. (And it actually powers down so you can leave it for days) That's nice creature comforts this stock os doesn't have. I'll probably install batocera on this though and then mostly use it for n64 and dreamcast since I already have the 35xx for ps1 and below (and a 405m for some ps2 and gamecube)

@@amarramoul4027 H and RG35XX+ are literally the same thing but H uses the horizontal form factor. H is much more comfortable to use tbh. This one in the video is very cramped.

Thanks for watching. I will echo what the others have said below, have a look at the H model. I personally chose the one in the video as I specifically wanted a vertical handheld but if you are only getting one device, the H is a better all rounder.

Yeah...a lot. Top of my head - all of England, Spain, Italy, top 2 tiers in Germany and France. It's not a problem on my desktop but the Steam Deck wades through it slowly. I would say that the Deck is useful for FM only when you are desperate to play and away from a more powerful device.
