      @friendlymechanic9778 6 часов назад

      The white part can not be purchased separately. You would need to buy a new connector and de pin the old pins and transfer them over. Usually you are okay without the white pin and it won’t cause any issues. I’ll get a part number and post it soon

    Do you have to drain the engine oil first before replacing the valve cover gasket?

    • @friendlymechanic9778

      No need to drain the engine oil before changing the gasket. All of the oil sits at the bottom in the oil pan and won’t interfere with this job.

If you don’t have any bleeders or adapters I would get this Brake fluid pressure bleeder with adapter: amzn.to/3yFk3Ol It comes with the bleeder and adapter as one unit. Hello, I bought a 2017 Honda accord ex at 186,000 miles and I’m currently going on to 195,000. I want to do this transmission fluid change however I have no clue if it was ever done before. As well as that I have to change the motor oil here pretty shortly as well. When you changed the gears and said to do it three times, does that mean turning the car off and then on? And changing gears or just changing gears three times for the three seconds.

      after Drain as shown in video, close the drain plug, keep the car leval, fill the oil atlest 3.8 Qt , than start the engine , keep the brake pressed and hold , and shift the stick every mode 3-5 second and same way returned , than open the level bolt as shown , excess oil will come out and you are done, if no oil drip means you have to add bit more and follow the process , don't over fill or under fill ... good luck ,

      So just like you saw in this video air leaks can develop in the air spring. Some more severe than others. My guess would be the air leak on the left side is too large now. Second option would be a leak in the air line. I’ve seen rodents chew through the air lines.

    Do you have to reregister the battery if you disconnect and then reconnect.

    Thank you so much! I didn’t know the orientation of the filter and am so glad you showed it clearly by turning 90 degrees. Wonderful tutorial!

    Hey so I’m thinking it might be time to replace my belt. Did you notice anything that notified you that it was time to replace your belt ? I’m having a squealing sound when I accelerate and a puttering when I come to a stop or idle. Do these sound similar or familiar to your diagnostics ?

    • @friendlymechanic9778
      @friendlymechanic9778 10 дней назад

      A squealing sound usually indicates a worn out pulley. It can be a belt tensioner or an idler pulley. Sometimes you can have a faulty alternator pulley, AC compressor pulley or power steering pulley. Also to note. Just because the pulley of one of these components is making noise doesn’t necessarily mean that component is broken. It can still work but just make noise. You can inspect the ribbed side of the belt and check for cracks or fraying on the sides of the belt. This is a good indicator that the belt should be replaced. The owner of this car just wanted the belt replaced because the car was coming up on 100K miles if I remember correctly. They didn’t want to wait for it to snap on them.

    Oh man the 2014 is way easier! Metal clips instead of bolts holding it together and you don’t need to remove the air filter box because there is a flexible hose connecting the inlet.

    I have the same car we followed this video (great video). The hose blows off. We properly filled coolant, let car run for 3 hours drove 50 miles and the hose came off. Doesn’t attach as secure it seems. What’s the part number for the o ring and the c clip. You also said there is a plastic piece ?
