I appreciate the kind words! You are right, price is a major factor, especially when bottlers were not found at MSRP. You bring up some great options for EW SiB competitors. The 86 proof EW is not something I reach for unless I’m with someone that doesn’t like proof. That said, I’m always amazed by the complexity (rich oak, vanilla, berry) on the palate for such a low proof. It’s a killer beginners bottle too because of the proof. OF100 is a sleeper too!

That’s a good point to make. Shenks and EC18 were my ‘higher end’ low proof pours for my buddies that are still working their way up the proof ladder. I did really enjoy the 23’. I appreciate the comment! 🥃

No way!! That’s awesome man, congratulations on getting the RR15! That’s easily one of the best pours I’ve had! I’ve had do a lot of meetups to get these bottles, which has really cut into my video time, but I’ve traded away most all of my ‘trade’ bottles at this point and will be getting back to a regular posting schedule 🫡. Hope all is well! I hope you enjoy the disco 12, i was really impressed with that bottle.

I have 1 extra RR13 b4, but I’m not sure if I want to come off of it yet. That’s one of my favorite lines and do reach for that bottle pretty frequently. I’ll keep you posted though!

@ for a RR13. Not much really. A store pick ECBP is about it. For others I do have a 2024 coy hill I’d be willing to trade. But I’d probably be more likely to trade that for a single rickhouse over a rr13.

Thanks man! I was able to source the 21’ CH from a local bourbon group and got a good deal compared to current secondary values, but I still had to give up a RR15 + some coin. Hope all is well brotha!

Thanks Ron, I found a few 2nd-airy groups that really consumed too much of my free time, which had really taken away from my content creation, but I'm back in the saddle now.

I know the bottle get lot of hate because of the price relative to the shelfers, but the 1924 is darn good! 🥃

@@adambosick3137 they had 10 different standard bottles. They randomly drop purple tops, but I hear that might happen 1x/month. They don’t have a standard morning drop like Michter’s or Heaven Hill. The EW 12 was $149 and offered at the end of any tour. I don’t think you can just walk in and buy it, you need to show your tour sticker and then you can buy it. Willett is very small and I HIGHLY recommend making a reservation for the upstairs bar several weeks out and trying their egg salad. They also have some insane purple top/green top pours, but hey are pretty expensive. Hope this helps! Cheers 🥃

Those are very good points and I did not talk about how long the disco 11 has been open and I’m sure that was a factor here. Fresh crack to a seasoned bottle isn’t the best comparison. You’re not the only one that thinks the Disco 11 bests the 12. They are both fantastic pours and cheers 🥃

I try to be as hype as possible in the thumbnail, lol. Not sure if that helps for clicks or not, but I’ll probably switch it up soon. I thought the disco 11 was good, but then I blinded it with RR13 a few times and the Disco 11 won’t a few times, so I bought into the hype more. After putting it next to the 12, i was pretty disappointed how it compared. The 12 is the truth and if the bottle is in your budget, it’s a great buy IMO. Cheers and I appreciate the comment
