Enjoy your videos and I mostly agree with your assessments. So much of the buy/not-to-buy is price driven. Interestingly the Evan Williams just doesn't do it for me. Maybe I got a bad barrel. I prefer so many other things under $40; 1792 SB, OF100, Bowman SB, Dickel BIB...even standard BTrace. Looking forward to next video.
I appreciate the kind words! You are right, price is a major factor, especially when bottlers were not found at MSRP. You bring up some great options for EW SiB competitors. The 86 proof EW is not something I reach for unless I’m with someone that doesn’t like proof. That said, I’m always amazed by the complexity (rich oak, vanilla, berry) on the palate for such a low proof. It’s a killer beginners bottle too because of the proof. OF100 is a sleeper too!
The 2023 shenks was awesome ( not high rye). I know the 2024 had a high rye recipe, so the brand does change yearly if you haven't had the previous years.
That’s a good point to make. Shenks and EC18 were my ‘higher end’ low proof pours for my buddies that are still working their way up the proof ladder. I did really enjoy the 23’. I appreciate the comment! 🥃
Hey Tanner Nice seeing you ,,, I'am with you on the Bombergers and Shenks ,,, all and all you had a solid 10 bottle kills .... Thanks

Let's recap.... Anything allocated at msrp is a buy.
For the most part, that holds true. The Russell’s Single rick are pretty outrageous
